Open and take apart Linksys WRT54G V8.2

Very helpful. I got one of these routers some years ago at a thrift store. The factory firmware was corrupted or something, not sure, but it never did work. Well, today I happened across information showing that this exact model I have (V8) can have DD-WRT (Micro) flashed to it. So, I broke my flashing cherry and did it. Works fine, but I started thinking about better antennas.
I guess I will be learning how to solder in the near future.

Thanks for this, didnt see any screws and didnt want to break it. That was simple!! Now I can take it apart to salvage the 2.4ghz antennas, connector, and 2 clicker switches :p

These are handy routers, especially when flashing it with the DD-WRT firmware.
Of course, a big downside is that it's wireless B/G. But, no big deal to me as my U-verse gateway doesn't support wireless N or faster, so I've flashed by WRT54G and am using it as a wireless bridge for three computers.

Step 1 : Have enough strength
Edit : A hammer works well if you don't have enough strength
