This was originally the Susquehanna Extension Branch of the Cambria & Clearfield Railroad which became a small part of the Pennsylvania Railroad, running from Bradley Junction to Cherry Tree. Built circa 1884, it was abandoned in parts over time, with the final abandonment being circa 1985. Passenger service ended in 1947 (one train a day from Cresson to Cherry Tree, and then on to Clymer).

I knew about for 2yrs I used to live in Carrolltown.
That's the old PRR and the NYC was up along US 219 north side of town in my old backyard.

We use to jump coal trains from Bakerton and ride up to the tunnel. Walked through it several times !
