I just got introduced to this band last night here in SLC! They opened for Blue October and i have to say, they are AMAZING!!!! I love them! And i have to agree with you, he is very genuine. He looked all nervous and shy when Justin from Blue October asked him on stage to sing part of the song! Twas wicked awesome! Loved it!!!!!
The siamese videos for this track and God Only Wants You are perhaps the most perfect kind for Ours' Darkly fired storytelling. Would love to see some ideas for Get Up.
I remember when my husband first heard this song for the first time-- he thought it was so passionate and beautiful, it could raise the dead (in a good way). Entirely unrelated and shallow: Holy crap, is every last man in this band smokin' hot?
Ditto on that for sure. I've been watching him sing him since back when he used to perform at a coffee house close by my house. The whole band is simply wonderful.
i've gotta say, i was quite skeptical when this girl, by the name of pegah, approached me and tried to shove you guys down my throat. she spoke of your energy and musical and lyrical talent. you are now my favorite band!! i guess i wanted to thank you both
those new people made an amazing record. Mercy took a long time to sink in. it wasnt until i needed his words and the intense music to really make sense. The guitarist with the dreds is a bit of a stiff on stage, i met the other guitar player and hes a nice guy. Wish i met jimmi too. One year i will.
I did like the first video take on this song... but this second take on the video KICKS SO MUCH ASS! It keeps you watchin till the end, I think it captured Ours's intensity perfectly
i was at the depot that night too, and it was the 1st time i had heard Ours... fell totally in love with them. i think it's a real testament to Jimmy's talent that Justin had him come out to sing. (i nearly lost my mind when i saw him come back out!) i ddin't meet Jimmy but Locke was kind enough to sign my cd and take a pic with me. i'm glad i found them.. amazing!

Saw Jimmy solo acoustic in VA 4-2011, He did the The Heart cd start to finish..HIS heart is big brave & beautiful His FU, no apologies, I'll write and sing what & how ever the fuck i want tude is RARE, It's almost painful for me to watch this video because i want to analyze the song but also get lost in it, to go for the ride (Jimmy's vocals are just EPIC sick, perfection) JIMMY! u r a beautiful soul, leading by example! why not? Both Static and Locke go waaaay back with Jimmy and race has been there all along. the only difference is a lack of Drummer, but James from PJA is doing a great job filling in.

I was so glad to have a chance to see him play live several years ago. He even played a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody. It gave me chills.
