Это чудесная музыка и пение , которое нам посчастливилось слышать из уст великого Филиппа Жароуски. Это неповторимая средневековья музыка на старинных музыкальных инструментах и чудесный голос Филиппа. Нет слов, чтобы выразить благодарность этому дорогому певцу, этим музыкантам... Они позволили услышать пение и музыку средневековья.

For me, I admire the wonderful cornetto playing of Doron Sherwin most of all. I cant stop listening.
When I first saw this on a different channel I had to delve deeply into Google to find out what that amazing instrument is called. I found all sorts of Renaissance era paintings of it. Even L'Arpeggiata's website doesn't identify it. All I had to do was read deeper into the comments! Thanks for the info. I love that thing. My uncle was a professional trumpet player in the 50s. He would have known what it is. He probably owned one. He had an extensive collection of instruments. But I was too young and stupid to care about his music when he was alive, sadly.

Two years on, I am still mesmerised by this amazing musician, Jaroussky...but I must ration my time with the "voice..." or nothing else gets done...also a word re the composition, so textured, so understanding of the instruments chosen and the flexibility and extent of a carefully nurtured voice. I'm sure Pavarotti and the angels are smiling on these great musicians - that includes vocalists of course - and if you have not yet found the Jaroussky, Barath, Stutzman Stabat Mater...what a treat for the heart and soul! 😍😇

One of those transcendent nights - so absolutely awesome and delightful! Superb, outstanding musicians working together to bring a taste of Heaven to this crazy world! I had to "stay away" in order to finish my book..."Mitochondrial Murders?" now completed and published. Would just love to hear them live...

Oh to be at that concert. I'd sit in the floor if necessary - probably levitate. The greatest singer, the greatest violinist since Paganini and Oistrakhs David and Igor, the finest instrumentalists, the greatest music (next to Pergolesi's Stabat Mater) and all in the warm, kind embrace of the so talented and excellent Pluhar...so grateful to her for bringing all this phenominal greatest together - and You Tube creators for providing at least a "seat in the rafters..." Joy! :)
His Stabat Mater is also a must listen.

@@globalman The opening screen says "29ème festival d'Ambronay" - The Ambronay festival takes place every year at Ambronay Abbey in France. The 29th festival was in 2009. Ambronay lies halfway between Lyon and Geneva.
I especially love the cornetto player and the violinist. Outstanding soloists

Genuine affection between Pluhar and Jaroussky and the other performers. The two soloists are adorable, but why are they not "household names..." World class, superb in every way...I don't think even Paganini was as proficient and eloquent...
