Thanks. Will definitely try these tricks this evening. My Hisense TV went black exactly two years after purchase. Why am I so tempted to buy another one... I will definitely purchase the extended warranty if I purchase another one.
That's the power supply or the mother board. Mine is sitting in the basement collecting garbage till summer when I will take it to a tech. Exactly two years.
My TV is having this issue, I tried the torch stuff and it was showing faintly in the background, Can the other methods fix the issue or must I buy a new backlight?
We need to sue hisense! This is crazy. Clearly they manufactured their product to malfunction after a certain time period. I’m literally gonna call a lawyer.
They are garbage because they start right away with those problems. The final problem when it never turns on again is the power supply. It overheats and it's the end of the tv. Also could be the mother board. Total garbage
it seems like its more of an OS issue than Hisense issue though. If its a TV problem than its due to the little amount of RAM that comes with these TVs.
My Hisense just blacked out in the middle of me watching tv and never came back tried unplugging the little reset button using different outlets. My warranty ended 2 months ago I’ve literally been scammed I just bought the tv last year. This seemed so unrealistic I definitely think it’s meant for you to have to buy new ones every couple years my moms old tv from early 2000’s still works perfect
Flashlight I saw the Hisense logo ;( meaning meaning the back screen were bad and need to replace… nope. And this was a new TV not even one year old… NOT BUYING HISENSE again. Thank you dude.
Looks like only tvs 55 inches and up are having this issue with no fix. Sucks ive only had this tv for 3 years. I have a tv same brand 32 inch thats 8 years old and still working!
Ok tried everything here - the red light flickers as if its going to turn on, but never does. Things I know - it was on a bbc app before it stopped rather than terrestrial channels, not sure if it stopped working within say an app not closing down internally properly. Also, Question, why and how would the remote reset without batteries, how does it have power to reset? And lastly, the HDMI will only connect the TV to an external console (Playstation for example) so how would that affect the screen turning on as its external port?
Thank you! Trick #2 works! I already booked a home repair this day to Hisense service center. I'm glad to see this video and it saved me money for the repair. Thank you once again! 🙏🏻😊
Sadly this solution doesn't work for me. When I press the power button, the red light flashes once, then flashes twice (screen is still black). Anyone know a fix?
I've been having this issue with my TV for quite a while. Usually i have to leave it unplugged for a while and still end up going through these motions. It has always came back on eventually, but hoping this method works
I tried the power off, even left it unplugged for over an hour, then tried the power button 30 second thing, but no luck. I was watching the TV and it went black all of a sudden and the LEDs blinked, now it won't turn on. Second Hisense TV I've had, 1st one lasted 2 days and died with this fault. Now this one has lasted under a year and has now got the same black screen. Returning it again this time getting my money back
My moms had hers just under three years. It’s always updating software and about every 3 weeks I have to unplug it for 5 minutes or so. I think this time it’s dead
Hello, my hisense tv , 55RE6 , suddenly stopped working , shut off , and now it doesnt come back up. I count one red blink, or two, then its solid . And cycle repeats. So far i did unplugged waited 30 minutes , tried to hard reset from The button on the side , pressed the button right by the red light over a minute etc, it doesnt come back. I dont want to order the wrong part and lose time. What might be gone ? Power board ?
i think you are thinking of Vizio. Out of all the TVs ive had this is 1 of the best, especially for the price. and its not a power supply problem. Its more of an OS issue so the problem is on Googles end not Hisense. If a power inverter fails its over, your TV will not turn back on... most cases here seems that simply unplugging and replugging the TV into the electrical outlet works. TBH i think its the OS not knowing what HDMI port its on along with confusing sleep mode for on/off. If it is on the TVs end though, its most likely an issue with RAM and the way the OS utilizes it... so again its kind of a Google problem not so much Hisense.
@@iapprove8392 It is not their power supplies board parts designed are the problems or causing problems at all.95% or more it their LED strip or strips parts of the screen lighting diode parts back lights screens LED diode strip or strips parts are dying or already shorted and totally dead.Hisense tv putting in crappy designed LED diodes strips.
Sadly no dice While going into sleep mode I went to wake it back up, at which point the picture was stuck and wouldn't respond to any commands. Waited about 30 minutes and decided to unplug it as the last resort and nothing. Red light will come on and stay solid, but the remote and power button do not respond. Holding both the buttons as directed and leaving it unplugged for 60 seconds yielded no results. So my guess is I caught it in between transitions and that somehow screwed up the system to where it no longer responds, just have to hope the warranty is still good
I have a 58 inch Hisense tv. Red LED light goes on for one long and two short durations. Replaced Power, mother and Tcon boards with no change. No image, no sound, just the LED light going on one long and two short. Any idea?
From my research, most likely a bad backlight led strip. To check out quick, power on your tv in the dark and use a flashlight on the screen. If you see a faint Hisense logo it’s a bad led strip
Please help! There are absolutely no buttons on my Hissense LED LCD tv except for a button that protrudes and you can click it or hold it down I’ve tried that nothing works. When I turn on my TV with my remote there is a menu on the left hand screen that says source and a list of the components AV, Hdmi, power etc The Power on the source menu is at the very bottom and the power button is red but I have never seen this menu panel before on my TV to the left. If I try using my remote the only thing the TV does is power on and off each time I try to use the remote and I have no idea where that source menu came from it was not there before. Can someone please help me thank you!
trick 1 should be changing the batteries lol. the remote also doesnt use Bluetooth to turn on the TV it uses IR, so be sure to point that thing right at the TV, after its on the Bluetooth mode kicks in on the remote... also BT mode drains battery life like crazy. As for the power cycling method that should be #3 and for #2 cleaning your HDMI ports... or buying new HDMIs... preferably the right ones for the TV... yeah you cant just grab any HDMI and expect it to work... you need the ones specifically made for 4K UHD, if your TV also has HDR10+ youll need the HDMI that also supports that. The wrong HDMI will work for awhile, but when they start to die can cause similar problems...
