I often think of Rose and her being transplanted to China from steamy Africa. Learning the language has opened doors of friendship for her and given her a place in the society of the village. It must have been a culture shock in many ways not only the weather which, to judge by these videos must be cold as everyone wears their winter jackets when in the house!
