Definitely not random or a stranger attack. Can clearly tell the victim notices the perp and the victim is on edge and stops in his tracks in the door way as soon as he sees the perp
Exactly. Even if something seems 'random' you don't know what actually happened and how little it took to trigger the suspect. Did you cut him off in traffic? Did you give them attitude one time 2 months ago? Did you sleep with his girlfriend/wife? Who the hell knows. But I highly doubt something like this is random. How can anyone feel safe when law enforcement is this clueless about attacks being 'unprovoked'? Why do we see the view from the camera on the right when the attacker orders his coffee but not during the attack? 6 am targeted attack, not random. Left his cup there, hoodie off and mask off. That attacker and the other guy that attacks the woman both have small legs. If you follow crime news you'll see various physical traits such as that, legs that are smaller, thinner and a bit disproportionately smaller compared to the rest of the body. Leg size including calf thickness relate directly to (poor) brain function. Wide shoulders but small legs, very common in thugs waging this quasi class warfare. The first attack was targeted and the second one may have been targeted as well. Notice all the focus of the attackers going into their own anger, speed and their hands, trying to grab/stab/control the target by imposing their will on the target with hand/arm motion. Pay more attention to their weak footwork and weak legs. Most of self-defence is good awareness and simple, yet effective footwork, the basics. Listen to that cop's voice, the uptone on 'safety' at :026. Something's off in his voice. Maybe the police staged both of these attacks to create some fear and overtime pay for themselves and to justify their jobs. They do that a lot and it's a whole industry in Industrial Penal Colony North America (Canada and US). The police are totally corrupt, a criminal gang. They probably paid both attackers with meth and gift cards 'off the books'. There's always a root purpose but the cops obfuscate things and make things very indirect so most people never think of this reality. Gangstalking/community mobbing are not paranoia but real. The cops have real-time, per-second tracking software on a network and whether the perp knows by watching his mobile or gets his instructions by an unseen ear bud, the effects are the same.

The media should start their reports with "we reject your reality and substitute our own"
From what i saw on the video you could tell that they have some beef on each other , if you experienced something like this encounter you could tell immediately that they have history of fighting one another . That's why the other guy stabbed suddenly after the other guy turned his back on him. It's just so obvious. Unprovoked but there's a reason behind it.
I lived in the states for many years and I moved to Canada I am seeing the same going on here in Canada just the start of things it will get much worse to fear no where in this world is safe any longer because we have to rely on others to protect us when they are not there to protect us that very second the system is so badly delayed and lazy the only way out of anything is doing things your self this means to protect your own self and family if you can protect others also. But there are so many laws that prevent us from doing so around this world just so they can profit off everything that happens with this debt based system it will always be the same I wish one day things would change for the better but it will not sadly in this case we will never get better.

lol yeah, these masks are a security fiasco and it's showing. oh and they're theatre and don't stop covid, we're wearing them to remind ourselves of serfdom and to fear eachother, and sadly the majority of dolts in this city self perpetuate this way of being wearing them walking in fresh outside air.
How oblivious and naive do you have to be to believe they didn't know each other lol
do not question authority
I don't know how they knew each other, but they did. Look at how the victim enters...
Walks through the door at a normal pace, immediately changes walking style to a crawl when he spots the perp who steps up when the victim walks in. How / Where they know each other that I don't know but their body language says that they knew (of) each other.
there is definitely history the victim walked in and looked straight at the attacker
Wow, unsettlingly mild language from that cop on the subject.
I want to see that 2 second hang time between them clearly having an exchange and the victim turning to put his coat on. Raw footage anyone?
Never turn your back on a possible threat. What a coward.
Do you remember a white woman pooping and throwing her poop at Tim Horton's employees in Vancouver in the recent years?
What's up with Vancouver and it's Timmie's?
Foooked up comparison
Yes! Vancouver is not immune to idiots either.
When you make it easy to be a junkie.....expect more violent junkies. Real simple stuff here.
Why is the word 'random' in the title?
Does that mean you are covering up a cause or that you haven't done your bloody research?
...or, more probably, both.
From the timestamps, we can see the victim walks in @ 6:19:47. The attack takes place @ 6:21:09. What happened during the 1:22 that we can't see?
he just said the city with the most heroine on the streets is the safest city in the world? XD and yall think these old people are fit to run our country and judicial systems? i think its time to retire the old and in the the new.
Sure, as soon as you can construct a complete sentence and move out of your parents basement. Why is your generation so ageist? And why wouldn't you expect the same back?
@@gaywizard2000 The older generations destroyed Canada so yeah a little bit of resentment is to be expected.
You all believe you are Rick's but you will become a Jerry, mark my words.
@@gaywizard2000 ageist? why is it old people run the world? why are you so afraid to let younger generations run things. clearly the elderly aren't mentally capable. they just want authority.
@@O6i Because all the children have blue hair and think they're hamsters? Yea I totally want laws from people who don't believe science is real and think property itself is a crime. Go back to roblox kid.
And how would "young people run the judicial system"? What does that even mean? I will pretty confidently bet anything that I have that you cannot explain how a law is made, or the structure of the government lol
The mainland has problems like anywhere right now
the knife was too short. A bit longer and the "client" could be dead on a spot. Conclusion: he did not intend to kill
I guess that guy will never have a girlfriend...
Guess they'll take over 6 square blocks and call it choppy chaz..
You see that they recognize each other 👏👏👏
The victim raised his hand to the suspect right when he came in to the coffee shop. the victim is Mexican, according to the police. The suspect, he is a Latino, easy to recognize. I would say probably from Dominican Republic. I am familiar with faces like that.
Lawyer: Your Honour, my client was hangry and got a little "stabby" after waiting 20 minutes for his Timmy's. Now that's the real crime!
Judge: Order in the court!
Lawyer: Exactly, my client made an order and now we're in court!
Judge: 🤦🏽♀️

Order in the court.

0:53 Obviously not a random attack the eyes say it all. Do these people think we're idiots?
Doesn't look random at all. Shaking my head at these police. Either incompetent or maybe wanting to push a narrative about "hate crimes on the rise". I sincerely doubt the other attack was random either.
If there is no relationship between the suspect and the victim then release the transcript of the conversation that started immediately after the victim entered and what exactly was he doing there it didn't look like he was there to order a coffee. The media should start their reports with "we reject your reality and substitute our own"
He'd have been able to identify a threat sooner, if EVERYONE wasn't REQUIRED to be wearing _masks_ ALL THE TIME.
Edit: fixing the italics
F'ing coward stabbing the dude while his back is turned. I hope friends or family find him before the cops!
“ I think that Vancouver is one of the safest city in the world “
Korea🥴
it is normal being all alone sitting and waiting for 20 min somebody in Horton's :)
Good ol' Crime minister.
A lot of nuts in Vancouver. Must be the sea air.
Well at least he was wearing his mask.
"Random" stabbings, folks-- everyone better stay home cowering in fear.
Vancouver is too lenient on crime. For attempted murder criminals only get 1 to 3 years. Justice system is a joke.
With such random attacks, I don't think Vancouver can be considered one of the safest cities in the world. It's time to face reality, Canada is not what it used to be.
0:53 yes there was, you could tell at 0:45 they don't always happen randomly, mostly planned, sometimes planned towards a random person but still planned
The corporate press loves to use euphemisms like “random” when talking about this type of crime. Pathetic.
Prob was the cartel coming to collect.
That killer is a waste of skin
Looks like Canadians need a law that allows the citizens to protect themselves against random attacks like these.
You can. You can legally meet the attackers force with equal force. In this case lethal force applied by the defender would have been legal.
you can't protect yourself from what you can't see coming
Eff the law.
I'll get out of prison.
You'll (attacker) never get out of the ground.
I'd rather concern about well organized crime gang called VPD who arrest you before asking a question, who rob you, who hurt you and humiliate you

Random? Seriously? Is this a legit cop?
You basically created Free Town from The Wire over on East Hastings.
What did you expect?
Very few things are random, especially human interactions out of all things.
Beautiful diversity!
I highly disagree that Vancouver is safe. VPD are constantly hanging around in parking garages in large groups and not attending incidents in a timely manner. People are better off dealing with certain situations themselves. This has only gotten worse!
No one is going to be sitting in a Tim Hortons, at 6 am, for 20 minutes, without a good reason. They definitely had a prior relationship
Never have I been randomly visiting a Tim Hortons ever.
Could have been much worse for everyone.
I've grown up in b.c and I gotta say that looked like it was either gang related or street beef... Either way they knew eachother from the looks of it. I hope they catch him and get to the bottom of it
Did he pay with a credit/debit card?
If so just review the footage and find out who made a transaction at the time of the incident. Production order that card and you'll have your suspect.
He was also using a smart phone in the store, does the Timmies have free wifi? See who connected to the WIFI network at the time of the incident, production order that phone for registered owner of the number.
I am pretty sure they will do these things there Mr. Columbo.
he left his drink cup. too bad fingers dont leave prints i bet someone could solve a crime someday if they ever figure that out.
maybe they could try playing this video footage on the news and someone will recognize him and turn him in? always worth trying new tactics
Put him in jail, and throw away the key
Don’t worry. The TH-cam detective division is on the case. So many experts in the comment section working tirelessly around the clock to solve the case.
Unpaid naturally. Just volunteers.

If the police can't figure this incident out, I think we need to look into our policing.
We assume the police are smart people but let's be honest education is not a major requirement to be an officer, any random dummy can wear that uniform.
