Monster Truck the RSX!
With the tank in the rear should drop down a little more... Can't wait for the Porsche dyno vid.....Sitting at my laptop now 24/7
dream build for my 06 rsxs
I got my awd rsx done about 2 months ago an I freaking love it.went with the S1 built kit.my opinion the only way to go.but I absolutely love your build an live what u do bro.u should have so much more followers. But u will soon.keep it up an boost on bro
That height is good, especially if you're going to actually try to launch it.
Made my morning. Can’t wait for ep. 8 !!!! For rsx AWD
If the coil hasn't hit the bottom of the base yet, remove the middle ring that holds the top ring. You can use the bottom ring that hold the base in place to hold the top spring ring in place. REMOVE MIDDLE RING.
can’t wait to see the k997 on the dyno!
dam!!! the porsche is alive!
That is the perfect height. Don't want it to low
Dirty nasty low lol
Yeah, finnaly! 😃 Love that vids about AWD.
Just go up in tire size to compensate for the gap will look good with meatier tires too!
you could easily cut those mounting tabs off the trailing arms and move them lower, you do not want to drill another hole in them.
Dude I think that ride height is perfect! Especially after you throw on some meaty tires on it 🔥🔥
Can’t wait until it’s ready
I came for rsx content and stayed for that k24 Porsche 🔥
You’re a beast man
Glad to see another episode, keep em coming!
Love your videos!
Cool builds u have bro. Respect
Go a 02 DC5…I’m pulling a CRV diff and buying a AWD bell housing tomorrow. God bless the headaches lll
I have waited like forever thanks for coming back nick👏🏾
WOOOOW!
That sounds good!
An if u want rear abs sensor to work .u need Chevy Silverado 01 rear abs sensor an .u got to make a braket.an press the reluctant ring down on the axel cup a lil but they work just thought I would let u know
Great work! Keep grinding! Both builds are amazing!!
Thanks! Will do!
I have the same coilovers on my 02 Type-S and I love them. Ktuned gets a lot of hate on facebook RSX groups but I havent had any issues out of ktuned stuff. Ive had mine for a year now and theyre great. They will get a little lower after a few weeks of driving
There will always be those guys that hate for the sake of hating. KTuned is a great with a bunch of great guys that are always willing to help. That’s why I always support them
Also, show clearance of the rear diff and the floor.
Hmm, to think you were gonna buy my rsx and do this to it... sounds like a plan. i just boosted it now i wanna awd too!
When are you going to show the eg civic that you bought?
As soon as I finish up these cars I’ll be starting on the EG with the DSG transmission
this is the same as my base auto’s stock ride height
That Porsche is definitely dope! And finally more development of the rsx! That's why I subbed and so whats happening with the fuel situation? I'm watching this to see if I wanna do this swap or not
Using an Element lower arm makes the car sit lower but its to low so depends on what your looking for
If you used the element trailing arms that would of lowered the car, and you can use of used the coilovers to raise is back up instead.
Thanks. Didn’t know that. I’m going to see if I can get my hands on a set of element arms.
Hey Nick I’ve been watching your vids for a while and love your work. I was wondering if Acura TL’s are capable of a flame map, I know they aren’t good for the engine but I was just wondering.
More rsx content soon???
You think it's possible to convert my 2004 acura tsx 6 speed to awd 6 speed?
can you remove the lower perch that lock the height ajustement and use the perch from the preload to lock it. So you would be able to lower it a bit more?
Yeah, but where is our K24 996/997 swap kit?
I've heard Honda Element Rear Trailing Arms work well with RSX AWD conversions. I believe the coilover mounting brackets are the same height as the RSX. I could be wrong though.
I’m going to look into this. Thanks
Bro I got tein coilovers an I had no issues getting my rear ride hit set .
Did you use CRV or Element trailing arms. Are your Twins the same as mine with only the one adjustment
I used 04 crv ones with advanced z tein coilovers. An I had no problem to get my ride hight right.but I will say right when I put it on the ground it was sitting pretty high though.
How did that fuel tank that u got work out .was it a good fit
Why not cut the mounts off and weld in rsx location?
What kind of research did you do to figure out that the CRV trailing arm is compatible with the RSX? Is there an online source you go to for this information?
Senpai nick can we have update on the k997 plz 🥺👉🏽👈🏽
I can hear the p-car purists gasping.
Did u finish gas tank curious to see how it went
Working on the gas tank install now. It’ll be the next video
@@tuningbynick awesome still interested in one
The rear wheelbase is not as wide as the front yes?
I hope I am asking correctly
Correct - with this wheel setup the front width is wider then back
What’s the wheel and tire size and offset in the front?
Front 17x9 35 - 255/40/17
Rear 17x8.5 31 - 225/45/17
Hey nick I'm fr toronto, can I get diff plates to buy ? Did the stock lsd work in the awd tranny ?
I do have more plates, if you're interested in a set, please send me an email. As for the OEM LSD, I would require some machining, but i just havent had a chance to try it yet
@@tuningbynick ok thanks
First
1 year to make awd... I doubt is worth doing it xD
this is the same as my base auto’s stock ride height
