Yeah he just set the tool down, I can sort of understand if he made the wedge adjustment while fueling but that was just dumb for getting a penalty over setting the tool there
The question is, would they have gotten that penalty if he was just holding the tool for the wedge man? if no, then him setting it on the car shouldn't be a penalty. I mean if he can make the adj and refuel, more power to him, right?
I loved Jason Ratcliff's facial expression when they penalized the 20. That was very poor communication on that team, and I understand Joe Gibbs' frustration on the situation. I'm curious to see how the 20 team will rebound from that.
Amazes me that these cars can spin the tires in 3rd gear. Suggestion for Las Vegas: Austin Dillon rose hell near the 3/4 mark of the race. Should definitely be included!
+Jack Healy the caution flag was never waved until they got to the line in turn that when the caution was displayed nascar let them finish that lap because they had to take the white for the race to be over

They also have a little display on the side of the flag stand that displays numbers. He’s in traffic so looking at the stand is secondary
