One of the most beautiful sounds ... A man telling the great message with authority... I haven't really heard this man before properly, he is a good teacher, easy to hear, reminds me of another great teacher, Dr Martyn Lloyd Jones, whose voice now is heard by those gone before us in that beautiful place where Jesus is right now, I haven't heard such great teaching in a while. You need to get his book, “Surprised By Hope”. He also has a podcast on TH-cam called “Ask NT Wright Anything”.
He is one of the best biblical theologians in the world. And talking in clear language even for me, when English is my 3th language.

Thank you for sharing. NT Wright is spot on in so many ways. I love how he takes John's narrative and makes it real to us in the 21st century with all of our hangups. It's almost like Jesus knew, across all of time, that His words, His actions, He Himself would answer everything in some way, in some fashion, if only we could humble ourselves to see and hear.

That was so wonderful. I pretty much knew who N.T. Wright is and have listened to some of his insights,but that was by far one of the most beautiful and inspirational "sermons" I have ever heard. Brovo. GOD Bless you ,N.T.Wright.

While I disagree with Dr. Wright on some (other) secondary theological issues, I'd have to say that I think he's right on about this topic. If you actually read the Bible and really look at what it says, it is obvious that while if we die right now, we do go to heaven to be with the Lord, but when He returns, we will come with Him and be here with Him for at least a thousand years of the millennium. After that this world goes away and is replaced with a new heaven and earth. There's no reason for that if we are not going to be here at least part of the time. 🙏✝️👑✝️🙏

What is NEIGHBORS?
Ironically, perhaps paradoxically, I agree with everything he’s said, and disagree with it all.
There is most certainly a now/not yet character to the “arrival” of the Kingdom of God. He seems to be saying (if I hear him correctly) that the Church is in progress, as we speak, of accomplishing all this “new creation” reality, bringing it to pass in this world in real time. After 2,000 years, I certainly do not see much evidence of THAT!
And also, if I may, I have long noted that there is precisely one and only one person in the history of the human race that had the unmitigated audacity to refer to GOD as “MY Father.” I defy you to show me one reference in the post-resurrection Scriptures where any man dared referred to GOD as “MY Father.” We call him Abba, Father. We call him Our Father. We call him, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. But “MY Father.” I’m sorry, but that is reserved for him whose unique glory was that “as the ONLY BEGOTTEN of THE FATHER.” As a “human.” As Dr Wright himself said, the only PERFECT human. And for no other conceivable reason. Born of a virgin, having been begotten. . .by GOD.
Can’t say I’ve ever listened to NTW without benefit. Always learn something of great value. Always gain a bit of additional clarity. And most importantly, his gentle approach is (thankfully) rubbing off on me. I would listen for that reason alone.
[[My sharpest point of disagreement with him (FWIW🤓) has to do with his acquiescence in the (to me) utterly ludicrous idea-the scientistic fantasy-of biological evolution. An utterly absurd affront to God as Creator-his chief glory.
So you are confused. How on earth can you agree with everything and @ the same time disagree? 🤪
Revelation 14:6 says "I saw an angel "flying between earth and heaven". The gospel has gone out to all the earth, over tv throughout the earth. How does tv go out to the world? Through the air. Who's the Prince of the power of the air? (Ephesians 2). It's all fulfilled. Rev 13:11-16 is America. Two horns like a lamb are right-wing Christians and Catholics. The Image is here.
