Dear WWTV, Thank you for showing my old stomping ground! 5:00 I used to live in 49 Breeze Ave with my host mother, Ms. Miriam who used to own this property. (She is 91 and still living in Rancho Palms Verdes.) I lived there on my teenage years on early 90’s while attending SMC. Miriam used to tell me that Charlie Chaplin owned a summer house next to her house in his retirement age. ( She is Jewish, and worked for Fox Studio, so she was telling me a truth.) I used to walk this sidewalk with her dog, big old Golden retriever every evening, and used to love watching sunset on beach! I rarely visit there nowadays after I moved out of LA area.
One of my old neighborhoods 30 years ago when I lived in the US. I remember shaking from fear as I tried to put my key in the front door of the building after finally finding a parking space far from the apartment. Some good memories, but oooh it was scary at night. Thanks for the video and best wishes from Cambodia.
Very nice walk, love it. Haven't been here, but at least i went 2 SF & HI for about 5 weeks overall. But that has been in 1982 already, and it was so fantastic...Will NeVeR 4get THAT trip. Would love 2 visit Cali again, if i have the opportunity. Nxt time L.A. & SF (to refresh my memories). It's always a desired destination, not only 4 us Germans. Have also been to Can once, a decade later, but that's another story......Well done, gonna watch more o' this.

I didn't see the decadence brought about by homelessness, crime, and drug addiction that the media keeps harping on. Is it really that bad or everything is just blown out of proportion?
They've cleaned up the beach. There are still issues but it's not as bad as before. I wouldn't spend time here at night. The homeless camps are in other areas of Venice. It's still a big problem.
Did u edit out d homeless area? Where did d homeless people go? Is this taken in 2022? I am just wondering because d area looks clean which is not d case when i visited it late last year…
