How To Catch Bass With Plastic Worms **Incredible Underwater Footage**

- Fishing with worms is easy! Use the tricks we show in this video and you're sure to catch more fish this year! Come underwater and watch how the bass react to different worms. Whether you prefer a weightless senko, a dropshot, or any other rigging, its easy to see the best ways to work them with an underwater view!
For today's video we kept the rigging simple. We showed a weightless worm, a dropshot, a ned rig, and a shaky head. All of these are great techniques for catching bass so we've included links below to the exact hooks, weights, and worms we recommend for each method. We also included links to an "In Depth" video for each technique.
Every time we watch bass behavior underwater we learn something new. In this video is was painfully obvious the bass would approach while the lure was moving but it had to be paused for the fish to actually strike. Consider how often you've failed to pause your worm near key structure while out fishing and we begin to realize how many fish we could have been catching all along. Take this information and apply to your fishing in 2020 and the sky is the limit!

There’s something very satisfying about seeing a bass eat a worm... I can’t explain it
Weird but true👉😂👈
@Eyeball 007 yes
I keep getting snagged
Especially if they eat it at the bank and you see it.
S U C C
I’ve always been told that shaking your worm more than twice means you’re playing with it. Similar rules apply with these worms too I see.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bruh
@@KAYDdubz lmao
😂😂😂
Think we found your favorite application of rule 34
One of the best tutorials I've seen in a long time
I agree with you. A most instructive video.
Just started fishing. Went fishing about 7 times so far and haven't caught anything, and have lost multiple hooks, plastics on snags, and some spinnerbaits also, and have made many mistakes since starting that slow me down when I'm on the water. But I'm enjoying every minute I'm out there learning different rigs, and getting familiar with everything. Most enjoyable thing I have done in a very long, and I plan on fishing for many years to come
Don’t worry it’s a learning process! My friends have yrs of fishing experience
I’ve finish for 6 months
I’m learning a lot
Last time I out fished them, it was a good feeling knowing you’re getting better
It's been a year how many fish have you caught?
This is like playing chess with those damn bass.
Lol i know
That's truly the name of the game
Oh yeah
bassmate
Sparka it depends. It needs to look real or else they won’t eat it because they are cautious. Especially with fish that have been caught before.
Jokes on you, I couldn’t even catch a cold.
This made be bust out laughing on an airplane now everyone thinks I'm some type of psycho
I fish with a joint so I at least catch a buzz.
Not even butt naked in Alaska?
Can't catch a fish in a stocked bathtub
That’s some really incredible underwater footage!!!
Speechless when it comes to tactical’s videos. They don’t leave any questions unanswered. When they cover a topic, they COVER IT! Awesome Matt. Tell Tim I said “WAT UP BROMO”!”
Yessiirrrr! More underwater videos please! These are the best!
Maybe this is why I can’t ever catch a fish on a plastic worm lol.
Fr tho I be not pausing and reeling in too fast
It is obviously the problem I have, I have never caught a bass or anything on a plastic worm but have caught them on other plastic baits.
you should always learn to fish with plastics before live bait. Live bait is cheating imo lol, youre really fishing if you fish plastics
Meh, people say the same thing about these baits compared to fly fishing. Don't be a purist lol fishing is fishing. As long as people are responsible, and clean up after themselves I'm happy.
thanks for reminding me of things i knew as a kid and apparently forgot
love this video I have been saying for years that slow is good less is more.
This was very informative and helpful! After struggling with bass the last couple years in definitely going to give some of these methods a go!
I’ve never known how goofy the fish look underwater after getting hooked
“Gerald this isn’t funny, come help me get this out of my mouth...Gerald! I’m being pulled towards the top dammit! Get back here!”
Kahooked On Jesus LOLOL THIS WAS SO FKN FUNNY TO ME
Thank y'all for the information on fishing plastics and how to work the rigs in different scenarios. Cheers🤘
This is the best Fishing Channel on TH-cam. Very informative
This is a bad ass video. Dude speaks so eloquent and is very knowledgeable. I’m super new to this sport and have been leaving very disappointed. I’ve only been out 5x and every time I’ve left depressed. Especially after watching so many videos of people catching fish. This video was thorough and got me fired up again.
Thank you very much, finally I found a channel that explains to me in better detail the tricks for bass, I personally like the screenshots of Bluguill's and Carps, but occasionally I go for bass and this video I think will help me understand more the attitude of bass more detailed, Thank you for sharing this type of videos, greetings from El Sus de California
Matt, love the underwater footage.
Great video! I just started my adventure of fishing. Thanks for the tips.
Good stuff. New to fishing so this is great for me
I also just got into fishing
Corona got you into fishing?
Stay with it, fishing is a great art, and sport to get into.
As someone who fished with his dad a bunch growing up but didn’t pay attention much, I’m coming back to fishing basically at square 1. So to have someone take the time to teach this and give you advice, words cannot explain. Many, many thanks guys!
Hey guy's, this is my 1st year, finally off the bank. Love the underwater footage, tips, and correct ways to fish my baits. I'm learning it's amazing on my new, kayak, which is a 120/ PDL/ Hybird edition. I have a bow mounted trolling motor, and my bixpy J2 toe controlled rudder kit. I'll use one or the other, and paddle into stealthy spots. I Fish an approx 5600 acre lake, and fish on other lakes. I've learned so much, from your underwater footage, especially being able to now explore allot of different lake's. Awsome footage. 🤟🎣🙏 Thanks guy's. Keep em coming..

Great vid matt!!! Love the content, keep it up guys
One of the best instructional videos I have seen!! The underwater shots are phenomenal!!
Happy Birthday Matt! And as usual giving us great information on technics, especially on how bass consume their diets. I'm guilty of fishing soft baits to quickly, constantly I tell myself to just slow down. Thanks for sharing all that knowledge & wisdom with us.
It’s be nice if I could find a place to fish that doesn’t have 50 ft of algae and plants to get caught in during each cast
Relatable
i hear ya, and often times i don’t know whats in there, i fish for the wrong fish with the wrong bait. i moved to a new state out west and i swear, i don’t see any angler catching anything while i’m out there, it’s like there just are no catchable fish! i guess the DNR are saying they stock, but only to get people out here
🐸
Throw some frog!
Ay a fellow Ohioan? haha.
Love these underwater vids, can’t wait to see underwater footage/ eats of the Lake trout trolling glide 🤞🏼
This is my problem with bass fishing, its alot of slow movements sometimes. I’m so used to plugging the surf.
punfish that’s the best part of bass is you can use so many different lures
@punfish that's what I've noticed bank fish for bass or even any other fish in general....its not so much the bait as it is you finding them and getting that bait in front of them
Happy birthday matt! Thanks for all you do for the bass fishing community!
Awesome teaching video. Love the underwater footage. You guys go the extra mile to provide great content , and I appreciate it. Happy birthday Matt!
Thank you! This makes sence. Keepin it simple.
Thanks for the great tips! A lot of us, including me, need to remind ourselves to slow down when working plastics
I finally figured out my problem from these underwater shots:
It seems like I do all the right moves most of the time.
What missing are the fish at the places I fish. 😄😄
Thanks for the excellent footage. I love this channel's ability to really put the nature of the fish into the lesson with the bait. So much good stuff here.
True
Awesome Matt! I've learned a lot during this short and simple video.
Thank you! Great tips great evidence, time for me to try it out!
Great content and great perspective! Very grateful to have found this channel. Keep it up!!
Your videos are still top quality Matt.. Cheers and happy Bassin!
This is a great video. I’ve never freshwater fished but I’m watching a bunch of videos because I’ll be trying it for the first time with a friend who has gone a lot. This video was my favorite one because you explain this info without adding too much to it. Short and sweet is a good way to put it. Thanks man can’t wait to go fishing for my first bass
Thank you for the tips! I'm trying it whe. This weather clears up a bit
I’ve been using plastic worms for 25 years in bass fishing and this is probably the best video I’ve seen on the subject. You are right, less is more. The biggest bass I’ve caught in my life we’re hooked when I wasn’t reeling in..... definitely something to that. Well done!
Unreal teachings! Matt, you are an over lord of teaching bass fishing tactics
Happy B-Day Matt! Great video! Loved It!
This was the boost I needed.... Thanks
I totally love this video! Thank you so much for sharing!
Happy Birthday Matt! Love the info, nice video. Fish on!
Another great video and even better advice. I, like so many others, tend to over work or complicate things when working plastic worms. The underwater footage is an eye opener. Can’t wait for the weather to break and get back out to shore fishing on LSC here in MI.
Happy Birthday Matt!! I been waiting along time for today to get here. Ever since I found out we share the same B-Day.
Well thank you and happy Birthday!
@@tacticalbassin Thank you
Happy Birthday to you both!
Happy Birthday
I love the weightless senko! Awesome underwater shots guys.
Great recommendation on that owner mosquito light hook. Using it on drop shot rigs for walleye in northern MN with awesome results.
Love this video man! Would like to see more like this!
Good information tips and under water footage 👍💯
These videos are amazing guys. Cant express how much they help. Thanks!
Thank so much for the detailed explanation. Most vids don't take the time to explain it in such detail.
I really enjoy these in depth vidz...thanks guys!!!
The underwater footage is crazy cool.
Great video! I agree, I think most anglers, including myself, want to keep that bait moving, because we thin of every movement is what entices the strike, when most of the time it is the dying motion (or lack thereof). Great underwater examples!
Learning the texas rig and using senko worms has been a huge game changer for me. I caught my pb working my father in laws small pond. He didn't think there was any decent bass left in there. People have even started asking me for advice when I fish. Definitely have to think channels like tactical bassin, roland martin, and some of the googan squad. Catch them slobs everybody!
another great vid....Happy B day Matt!!
Great content just amazing in depth video overall. Thanks brother 🎣
Make favorite lure that no one uses anymore.
Slow senko fishing, especially weightless in wind still conditions, is one of the nicest ways to catch a bass. Thanks for this simplistic video.
When there is no current or wind at all I slay on the wacky rig
Awesome tips. Ill be using this for sure. I also need to learn the dropshot better. 👍👍
Watched it twice. Another great vid.
Always helpful!💪🏿🎣
Thank u so much. I have never fished bass before and always wanted to. Now i have a starting place.
Happy Birthday Matt!!Hopefully you get to go out and catch some more Giants on a Huddleston soon!!!Happy new year!!!We all really loved that last Huddleston video!!!
One of the most helpful fishing videos
Very informative, thanks for all your hard work. great video!
Good advices. I need this.
Such cool video with the usual sage advice. Thx, guys!
Very useful information!.. Senkosam
Awesome video. Love the underwater footage it’s very helpful for study and just awesome to watch. Matt - what hat are you wearing? I like it. Thanks!
That’s some awesome underwater footage! 👊
I've been making my own ned rigs since senkos first hit the scene. Wish I would've marketed it years ago
Great video. Very educational. Very helpful!
Thanks for the tricks that not many is willing to show
So cool to see these bass inhale underwater. Never gets old!
My 2 biggest bass I've caught was on a 4" yum dinger and a dream shot on a owner shaky head. This past fall. Worm fishing is by far my favorite way to fish.
Good info and awesome footage man, thanks!
Your videos are really awesome!! Great soft plastic video!
Great video and refresher course.
Great tip, thank you!
Awesone video, Great info on Bass fishing 😎😎😎👍🏾👊🏾🤙🏽
I really enjoy watching your videos man, thank you master. 👍🏻
great video, love the camera views! sometimes i don’t know what they see, or even what’s in the water, and your vid! awesome!
I'm new to bass fishing. This video was very helpful
Good info here. Thanks
This is an amazing video i will use these techniques in spring👍👍
Excellent 👍
Will try this way.
this video was badass. the underwater shots were mint 👌💪👍
This is really good info and I can't wait to put it to use. I have always imparted a lot of action in my shaky heads and I like to hold the drop shot bait up off the bottom on a tight line letting it dangle in front of the fish while the current or whatever does its thing but now I will try this method out. The video doesn't lie. Seeing is believing. thumbs up
Awesome video! I have many times steered away from fishing due to lack of knowledge and being unable to ever catch anything! My stepdaughter just recently decided she wants to start fishing and asked me to teach her. After watching this video i feel more confident taking her out and being successful. THANK YOU!!!
Love it man, thanks for the video. I've found that a dropshot will catch fish that just won't bite otherwise, lifting the bait off the bottom to just where you can feel the weight but not moving, and holding there for what feels like an eternity. If you have patience, and there are fish nearby of course, they will eventually get curious and bite it.
Super helpful👍
Thank you
Great footage, thanks for the tips!
Great! Thaks! 😄
you guys are truly awsome.....thanks for info
