Another good video. I play Bolt Action in 15mm. I base mine in pairs using FoW small bases. I put the NCO on a washer and have a couple of spare riflemen on single bases to allow for casualties. It speeds up play as there’s less to move.

      Hey Sam,
I like your idea of having a few spare singles for casualties that's a great idea. I used to have everyone single based, but moving everything takes a lot longer. At least for the first half of the games.lol

The thing about basing 15mm figures comes down to army size. For example even a basic platoon in Flames of War is going to field around 28 figures, being three sections, special weapons and command figures. Do you want to be moving 28 individual figures about the place every turn? However, if you like the trend of converting 15mm fig's to Bolt Action the number of figures is going to be less. Personally I like FoW and base four to a base as standard. However when I first bought a Parachute Company, the basing standard for Parras was five per base. While for glider borne troops were four per base. So how you base depends on the rule set and game.

Well said and I totally agree with you there! Its an interesting point that both options have pros and cons. 1 way allows easy casualty removal but has lots more moving models. The other is more abstract with casualties so needs a way of recording that but is easier to move around. Lots of fun either way, just need more people to play against.lol
