I go live on twitch: twitch.tv/braxophone For leveling your echoes, you will likely not level too much before you get golds anyways, and if you do, all the leveling you do for those can be gained from overworld and exploration. If you HAVE to do tacet fields then go for it, I'm just saying it's not necessary
For anyone wondering: I finished every single quest incl blue ones currently available in the game and did like ~70% total exploration with all caskets found and lvl 7 explorer guy. I haven't spent any crystal solvent and used every waveplate on ascension bosses and the 3 weekly boss loot attempts and I sit at UL 33 with that. So the next world level at UL40 is quite some time away, multiple weeks even, since the xp requirement ramped to 7k already. I can def see myself spending the crystal solvent for the last stretch to hit UL40 sooner, since that is the main limiting factor behind your power gating ascension of characters and weapons. It also unlocks the 80% chance of 5 star Echoes for the databank compared to the 50% of UL30.
The thing you have to understand is you'll get UL40 eventually, and you'll stay above 40 for several years from now. Rather than what you're doing is just speeding up getting to 40 by maybe a couple of days at best. Is it worth it? At that point, it's up to you.
@@horizon146 what do you mean by "worth"? I play the game for fun and completing open world games ticking off stuff and trying to squeeze out efficiency is literally my meditation time after a day at work and the reward itself.
You don't even need to spend stamina to complete the guide book goal for tacet field, just beat the enemies and walk away without claiming and it still counts towards the book goals.
Quick tip for the Tacet Field Guidebook requirement: If it says "Complete Tacet Suppression X times", you don't actually have to spend your waveplates on it. All you have to do is clear it. You can completely ignore the rewards and it will still give you the progress. The only requirement is to complete 5 different tacet fields.
In Genshin, I saved up all the fragile resins thinking that I would need them later, now I have 100 fragile resins with nothing to spend them on because I already have everything I need. Could've used them earlier to speed up my progress and actually enjoy the game sooner.
Yeah I saved my fragile in Genshin and my fuel in HSR and now I have 100 of each in those games that I never ended up using, think I’m honestly just gonna use the solvents soon so I don’t end up not using them later on
The thing is you could use them now to farm and also keep in mind more gameplay doesn’t always mean more fun you could burn out faster and finally it’s a PVE game so there’s no need to rush it’s marathon not sprint
Basically u can keep playing as u are, my point was it takes longer to get 5* after data bank 15 but u can still get them if u power through, u just have a very high almost guaranteed chance later on, and dont do tacet fields, their so useless, I currently have a 60 crit and 190 crit dam Danjin just from farming in the overworld so u dont need to waste resin on tacet fields. Just use the data bank to find the echos u still need to level it, u can also find echos according to the sets they drop, hope this helps and sry for the bad grammar.
I'm so glad people are bringing this up now, I have been debating with everyone about this matter in almost every game. The majority just keeps saying to save up those stamina until you get to a certain level, but bruh how will you even get to that certain level ASAP if you don't use them stamina? At the end of the day it's all a matter of personal preference and priorities, and whether your approach to the game is casual or hardcore.
Yeah its a common misconception, and strictly speaking its very basic math. If you use your stamina earlier, you will reach a higher level also earlier. Which mean that you can start farming these more efficient domain also earlier. At the same point in time someone who used them instantly and someone who saved them and used them later on, once they are used, will be exactly at the same point and none of them will have more resource than the other, since they spent the exact same amount of stamina anyway. He does speak about it thought that it ends up equal at the same point in time.
@@pagandreamer5584 But he forgot to mention one thing, if the person who spends their solvent so they can clear the final stages of whatever the Abyss/MoC is called with higher amounts of stars and get more rewards Even though we reach the same spot with the stamina based resources, the person who spends gets more of the harder contents rewards. So you dont end up at the same place, that person will have more premium currency and other rewards like echo exp etc or even the shiny skin variants from the shop
from what I've learned from being a Jenshin veteran, the best way to play this kind of game is to do the bare minimum daily + a little bit extra every day. This way you will always have content, while not locking yourself too far behind other players.
I played genshin like that and i still burned out, granted it took me 2 years to burn out but 3 years to quit, basically for a year i was playing a game i hated just because of sunk cost fallacy/stockholm syndrome. but i guess 2 years is a damn good length for playing a game.
Well you see, playing games with friends do more fun than solo. I mean it's alright doing dailies and stuff but the "fun" just isn't there or at least easily ran out. It happened to me most of the time 😔
For me, the bare minimum would be dailies and stamina usage. Then for a little bit of extra will often go to events, or a character and/or weapon that I need to strengthen. I will use my stamina and overworld exploration, the "little bit of extra", to strengthen said character and weapon. The cycle is weekly. Once the week is over, I would make another decision. Then, the cycle starts over again. The time required is one hour at most per day, often less. Whenever I have more time, I would do a bit of main or side quests. It has been a rather healthy daily gaming session, I must say.
Agreed. Half the reason anyone whines about "lack of content" is because they burned a 100 hour experience in 10 hours and have nothing to their name now.
It's so nice when you do these direct informational videos instead of the, in my opinion, over-edited excessively meme-y videos. Straight to the point with clear explanations of the thought process behind everything.
Just hit data bank 16 at UL30. I was able to cheese a Level 110 twin bird fight by getting one bird to fall off the waterfall nearby lol. Then the other bird I slowly killed with guns.
I tend to save my solvent for 2 reasons. The main one is for a new character. When a new one comes out, I want to be able to leveling them that same day (I'm not a prefarmer) and equip them with good enough echoes. The other is when I've used all my waveplates and I'm just one boss away of getting enough materials to ascend a character.
I don't see the problem with using the Crystal Solvents. It's all just Waveplates in the end. People who save them for higher Union Level might get better rewards at that time sure, but people who use the Crystal Solvents now get to higher Union Level faster anyway. It averages out, and it doesn't really matter in the end.
Yeah, it’s a question of trading stamina boxes to level up faster (which raises the value of near-future stamina) or spending that near-future stamina instead to raise the value of your boxes.
@@blackhammer5035 i mean theres gonna be a cap and we're gonna hit it either way. the value of saving 100 - reaching the cap - spending it is far greater than spending that 100 - to reach the cap - and when you grind at cap its mostly daily energy.
Nah mate. It's exactly like genshin. You want to save for the fragile resin in order to use it for emergencies. Like leveling something or someone in one day
@@KurulaGuambeTSB So quite literally never because you should always have enough for anything you want. Playing gachas all creators have opinions on how to use the extra stamina. In the end it really doesn't matter. Because savers will never use it and spenders are just getting what they want quicker but won't end up with any long term advantage.
Crystal Solvent also helps you leveling. If you do challenges where you receive union points. I am stuck between lvl 30 and 40 for quite a while now. I have maxed my database. That means if I save crystal solvent now I am not going to progress and receive echos still below gold. If I max my union level faster I can make use of my data base level and catch better echos. So, yes it does make sense to manage your crystal solvents, but if you are stuck in a limiting situation and spending those crystals helps -do it. You will receive new ones eventually.
Popping crystal solvent now to level faster only really matters if you have enough to make a meaningful difference (and time and patience to use em all if you have enough) like at breakpoints to get higher weekly boss drops or something. Otherwise imo for most people it's more efficient to wait since you get a bulk of ur xp from dailes (+normal waveplate regen). Granted it doesn't matter in either case if you never use them period lol
union exp per level seems to have gone up a lot past level 30, 31- 32 takes 6700 and the next phase upgrade is at 40 so that's going to take a while, level 30 is pretty quick though so probably dump all your crystal solvent after level 30. Luckily I had a couple decently built characters to carry me through. Plus I will probably save a few for when I get a new character and I need their mats.
Just want to point out that for the guidebook missions that ask you to do tacet suppression don't require you to use the waveplate. it only asks you to complete. You can just go away and not "claim the rewards"
If you max all side quest and do 100% exploration you can get to lv 36. If you can sneak in to lv 40 before the end of the week use them to get ther. It only matters right now when everyone is rushing to upgrades
I haven't seen anyone talking about this but the Lampylumen ore store (Shilang? I think) in Tiger's Maw can give some good trace materials for when you need the higher stuff. Also a 4-star weapon selector in this store too. I got around 29 lampylumen ore in one day so you can buy all traces for one path in one day and then rinse and repeat.
I enjoy exploring a lot, thats why I would recommend to use your waveplates anyways, so u can reach more lvls. I made the mistake and forgot to use them, because I enjoyed exploring too much haha. Better using them for anything you want. Its bad if you dont use them at all. haha
Maybe this game is different but other gachas you want to hang on some stamina refills to farm new stuff they add so you don't have to wait for time gated stamina. You also can't always pre-farm for new characters coming either so again refills come in handy.
I've been pretty tempted to burn them in order to scale my DPS at pace with the world level since I used my first dailies on exp and needed some back to back bosses. It's nice to know I'm not shooting myself in the foot like burning fuel early game in HSR.
1:20 Me wasting it now by overflowing it while watching your vid. 😂😂 Still as of now, I can probably focus on exploring the world first rather than waveplates. But if I do end up at what you said, then I'll probably do it. Whether it is inefficient or not. Thanks bro
Ul 36 here. All quests done, 99%/100% in every zone. Tacet fields are the best thing to spend wp on imo. Echo exp is by far the biggest gatekeep I've encountered. Resonator and weapon exp materials are in abundance, and im locked on my talents till ul40 anyways.
A few points are good yet I'm going to chill, weekly boss for the character I want to level and then take my time with the exploration so that I'm not crying about having nothing to do 1 week after release 😂
I’m level 58 and I have 75 of these. I’ll have 90 when I hit 60. I have no idea what to use them on because I’m indecisive. Is it even worth it to save since tacet fields aren’t that rewarding?
Honestly if you are patient, dont waste the crystal solvent. If you wanna have fun and actually progress dont use them like EARLY game. I spent like 5 of them to get my team to be ready to ascended and it took me to union lvl 30 too. So win-win for me. Mostly farmed echoes in open world (yes takes a lot of time but it gave me great drops).
It's actually better to spend your waveplates earnly on as soon as you finish the quests that give uanion exp, since once you get to union 30 and databank 15, you can farm godl echoes in the open world.
You don't need to spent a single waveplate for guide book stuff. Good Purple Echos are a keeper, since you can tune them for cheap. Echo Exp is by far the most important thing to farm, because a full set of lvled echos gives you more stats then anything else. By your own logic, it should be fine to use crystal solvent at Union 30. Because it takes weeks to get to 40 and you'll clear all other stuff until then regardless.
i literally forgot about tacet fields that i farmed all my echoes in the overworld, it's freaking painful farming bosses just for gold echoes, 30% is killing me currently UL31 just by farming for echoes and solving the puzzles and quests along the way 😆
Does anyone else have the same problem as me, cant co-op because it says im in a single player only quest... Which j dont even know what is, since im done with the main quest and like have few side quests left
From an XP only point of view, you're perfectly right. But all the other resources you get from spending wave plates go up with levels. So kind of wasteful to use them early on. I personally won't use them unless I really want to level something up right away
I will use the solvent just like how I use fragile resin in Genshin, I always save them till I want to build a character or if I need some extra resin to get materials
Personally I don't mind using the solvents to further my account faster so I can reach the thresholds that are actually worth it. Ex: I don't mind using them to farm ascension mats when I'm in like a 16 hour session (I need help) and I just used them earlier for the first ascensions. Also, at the start of the game, I just used it on the resonator XP simulation (at like UL 6-8) because everything else was locked/too damn far away (I use fire and Ice units which are litterally so damn annoying to go to the first time.
not a bad take on waveplate in early game, unless you have multiple units that requires you to ascend. but yeah, use the waveplates for ascension would be ideal in this scenario. either way, enjoy the combat and try not to burn out on a combat orientated game would be the way to go
lol i had to kill bosses at level 20+ just to max out character's talents/skills... because going 0 pulls with out it is gonna end up with a weak chixia and yangyang... surprisingly the free characters they give you is really good even without the resonance chain... compared to something like genshin its night and day difference... and the combination of the 3 free characters is just enough to clear everything in the game so far till union level 30... all the quest and guide book so far...
Here's the thing...i am UL 27.....using some of the solvent i have could get me to 30 and i think getting to 30nas early as possible os more important then saving
watching this and nodding along as if i didn't actually already figure these things out (my experience is with four other gacha games i play religiously)

Pero sí que he aprendido una cosa: cuando ya tienes el mundo alto y todos tus personajes subidos, cuando sale un nuevo personaje, lo que quieres es subirlo para poder jugarlo ASAP. U should call this the Guide to XP, couse what i really need is grinding xp mats and such so i can actually survive in the higher world levels, the Waveplates i don't really need exept for bosses so i can get those acend mats for characters i need. I really do hope they drop the amount of Waveplates needed for some activities couse 60 as the standard for bosses and Tacit fields is very high.
Currently at UL31 and I've already max out my Data Bank up to 20 and the beginner book guide. All of my echoes are now in Gold color haha. I did use my Waveplates but for leveling up my chars hehe.
Using crystal solvent early is the way. Getting to end game faster = everything else also scale to higher level as well, not just reward from spending waveplates.
@@NachoK66 yes less reward now but you unlock higher tier reward faster and your daily waveplates has more value faster so it's technically the same. But don't forget that a big chunk of better reward is locked behind higher level as well.

they guarantee an echo when they have an aura, where they are glowing. they actually do get affected, but high level boses (120 lvl) echo don't get affected and will always drop legendary echo

What he forgot to say is using the crystal solvents should be kept for special events where you can get boosted resources, or special resources.
I've logged into this game everyday since release, and used maybe 3 days worth of wave plates. I swear someday I'll actually play the game...
It's about just 2 months after that all players will enter a race of Lv 60
Still as of now, I can probably focus on exploring the world first rather than waveplates.
"You can go pick mints" bro can't catch a break🤣
the condesed waveplate should be saved until maybe ur maxed out on level or world level that way you get bang for your buck
I’m level 58 and I have 75 of these. I’ll have 90 when I hit 60. I have no idea what to use them on because I’m indecisive. Is it even worth it to save since tacet fields aren’t that rewarding?
holy shit this hair style is hot af brax, really suits you 😍
the keybinds for the game r confusing and navigating through the ui is quite hard for me so could someone tell me how i open the ui at 2:40 please?
I'm amazed they did not implement the reserve system that HSR has, that's like one of the best things any Gacha game has added ever
i literally forgot about tacet fields that i farmed all my echoes in the overworld, it's freaking painful farming bosses just for gold echoes, 30% is killing me
currently UL31 just by farming for echoes and solving the puzzles and quests along the way 😆
Man glad I used it all for the game currency and exp mats
day 4 of waiting for Havoc Rover guide 👀
good vid, appreciate the info
As someone who stopped playing Genshin with 150 resin things still on my account, just use the waveplates.
Does anyone else have the same problem as me, cant co-op because it says im in a single player only quest... Which j dont even know what is, since im done with the main quest and like have few side quests left
Just see do u have a world quest going (blue quest)
@@mrbroadbrave a blue question mark or a blue square with a dot in the middle
From an XP only point of view, you're perfectly right. But all the other resources you get from spending wave plates go up with levels. So kind of wasteful to use them early on. I personally won't use them unless I really want to level something up right away
I barely understand a word bro just said but he sounds pretty so I’m liking and subbing 🗣️🔥
3:00 You don’t need to use Waveplates to clear the book quest, just killing the enemies is enough.
not a bad take on waveplate in early game, unless you have multiple units that requires you to ascend. but yeah, use the waveplates for ascension would be ideal in this scenario. either way, enjoy the combat and try not to burn out on a combat orientated game would be the way to go
lol i had to kill bosses at level 20+ just to max out character's talents/skills... because going 0 pulls with out it is gonna end up with a weak chixia and yangyang... surprisingly the free characters they give you is really good even without the resonance chain... compared to something like genshin its night and day difference... and the combination of the 3 free characters is just enough to clear everything in the game so far till union level 30... all the quest and guide book so far...
Thx for the guide
Here's the thing...i am UL 27.....using some of the solvent i have could get me to 30 and i think getting to 30nas early as possible os more important then saving
We just can’t hold back ourselves when we we see the word “confirm” don’t we 😅😂
Me, planning to just level SanHua. Also me, leveling everyone cause they feel like they would be fun.
Watching this so that I dont make stupid mistakes if i ever join Wuwa in the future lol
you can also trade them into an NPC for pulls as well
how
watching this and nodding along as if i didn't actually already figure these things out (my experience is with four other gacha games i play religiously)
Bruh The Game rating on WuWa is 3.1 come on guys it’s 1.0 give the Dev a time
What! Seriously this is way more better gacha game!
Except some here and there atleast they devs are working seriously unlike other AAA gaming industry who were formed decades ago....
Save waveplates for when there are limited time events so you have extra resources for them
Wuthering waves needs better optimization for sure... My device. Only supports everything in low settings
"Hello youtube frogs!" Ive heard this somewhere but i cant remember who says this often
Xlice
PLEASEEEEE I NEED THE JIYAN GUIDE PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Damn, I spend early but it's fine , I'll play the waiting game now XD
U should call this the Guide to XP, couse what i really need is grinding xp mats and such so i can actually survive in the higher world levels, the Waveplates i don't really need exept for bosses so i can get those acend mats for characters i need.
I really do hope they drop the amount of Waveplates needed for some activities couse 60 as the standard for bosses and Tacit fields is very high.
Casual players do not need to worry about this. If you play other games beside WW, 240 stamina is plenty.
Currently at UL31 and I've already max out my Data Bank up to 20 and the beginner book guide. All of my echoes are now in Gold color haha. I did use my Waveplates but for leveling up my chars hehe.
How do you farm data banks fast? Im UL27 but im stuck at data bank 13
@@bismard9877 you can recycle the trash echoes and theres a chance to get a new ones.
@@bismard9877 Just use the track button
Using crystal solvent early is the way. Getting to end game faster = everything else also scale to higher level as well, not just reward from spending waveplates.
The problem is, using them early = less resources per solvent, as the rewards are in lower stages
@@NachoK66 yes less reward now but you unlock higher tier reward faster and your daily waveplates has more value faster so it's technically the same. But don't forget that a big chunk of better reward is locked behind higher level as well.
@@NachoK66 It's all the same amount of Waveplates. People who use solvent early just have to wait for Waveplates later in the endgame. People who save the solvents have to wait for Waveplates now. It balances out if you think about it.
@@leonayersthe amount of waiting is the same, but any stamina spent late game will inately have more value due to higher rewards, but only relative to when you use it. It doesn't matter like in HSR tho cuz farming high end "relics" is free.
I reach lvl31 day 4 without using any solvent just doing main, sidequest and world explo
ive been doing almost all monsters just for that 1st time rewards 😂 Had enough to ascend electro guy and fire guy
before watching the video, i spent my stamina for character and weapon level up materials.
edit: so yeah. I'll keep doing what i do and use some of my crystal solvents 😂
Me still waiting for Brax’s Gallagher guide
i do question though, first time rewards for boss field ones, are they always guarantee an echo? and if so, do they get affected by your data bank lvl?
they guarantee an echo when they have an aura, where they are glowing. they actually do get affected, but high level boses (120 lvl) echo don't get affected and will always drop legendary echo
yeah late one man but still iam prioritising progression cus if i reach high leevls quickly then my dailky waveplate value will inherently increase
In depth guides for characters/weapons/echoes when?
Unfortunately they fucked up big time with the Union Level mechanic, your require exp to level up union is doubled after you hit 30 which is absolutely insane since non of the dungeons you do have increased exp acquisition to make up for this.
Dont waste your wood textured shards on materials before you get all the tides that are available in souvenir shop. After getting all of them do as you please.
It's actually proven that using all refills to reach level 40 quicker is better than saving refills
Ive used 3 of my solvents to guarantee my lvl 60 calcharo and my union 30
doesnt matter, do whatever you want, no need to save anything for higher level
I already learned my lessons from genshin and star rail
You made me save asterites for mommy YinLin arf arf. I don't regret anything tho
I searched for a guide about this…. Over 2 hours ago. (I wasted my waveplates because i didnt see a guide)
I'm gonna keep saving my Crystal Solvents until Yang Kai gets released.
Can someone tell me when do i exactly unlock the sensor and levitator in wuthering waves? I have unlocked the grapple and i'm at the story quest where you meet jianxin at the city's gate. Should i continue with the story quest to unlock it?
They just gave away 1 free 5 star of choice this game is crazy
