The MBC is a route made up of cycleway sections, many interlinking roads, esplanades, streets, and footpaths. This circles around the entire south eastern coastline of Moreton Bay and I have tracked it to be a total of 210kms in distance according to my route.
I rode this from start to finish over 4 days and I have divided it up into 5 stages as follows:
Stage 1: Point Talbupin, Redland Bay to Cleveland Lighthouse (37kms)
Stage 2: Cleveland CBD to Queensport Rocks, Gateway Bridges (44kms)
Stage 3: Gateway Bridges to Hornibrook Bridge, Brighton (44kms)
Stage 4: Hornibrook Bridge, Brighton to Bruce Highway, Burpengary East via Redcliffe Peninsula (41kms)
Stage 5: Bruce Highway, Burpengary East to Bribie Island (44kms)

I found your earlier video about the bikeway and it ending at Bribie Island. I was very excited to find some little know, purpose built, world leading bikeway infrastructure only to find no way of getting there. Tar for the video's, keep them coming.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, it's crazy how the infrastructure isn't there yet for a full proper ride.
This was really good, so much fun to watch and listen to your commentary.. Nicely done..
Thanks Sandra... Much appreciated. Glad it's over now, lol.
John this really cool. Well done
Cheers.... was great sweaty fun! 😀
Great series Jel! I'm off to Beachmere this weekend. Looks like a trip the long way to get there due to roadworks.
Thanks Grant.... yes, I don't think they've finished the roadworks yet, so best go the long way.
Imagine the driver in the white van when you popped out of the mud lol
Lol, not wrong there. I was thinking the same thing 😂
Thankyou for the series John. Well done 👍 be good if there was no road riding soon. I used to ride road alot but got taped one day by a mirror and stopped riding not long after
Yes, I wanted to show how this segment isn't the greatest due to all the road riding. It is a shame a better cycling infrastructure isn't in place to cross the Caboolture River on the East side of the Bruce Highway. I think an incident like you experienced by a mirror would turn many off riding, thank God there are some safe cycleway areas around the place.
It will happen especially with the amount of scooters around
Well done John. Iv loved all your videos. I have learned a lot about Brisbane. I have done some of these rides. Keep making the videos.
Awesome to hear... Thanks for letting me know 👍👍
Thanks
Would you please uploading the whole bike route videos with no or minimum cut? It doesn’t matter if you don’t talk most of the time. I need to watch it😂
Lol, that's a lot of video to watch! Are you sure??? I'll see what I can do.
@@jelbuilderfilmsIt will make me feel calm and happy. There are some Japanese youtuber post long silence version and i think that’s a good idea to give some viewers inner peace like watch before sleep😊
I am trying to move to BNE in the past few years but still can’t right now, so watching your videos make me feel better.
That fence on the bribie bridge hasn’t always been there. Approximately 2002 it got installed. I’ve fallen off that path before riding my bike along it before the fence got put up
Hope you didn't fall into the Pumicestone Channel!!! 😀
@@jelbuilderfilms nah I fell on the road instead. Would of been more safer falling into the passage 😂
Electrolites Mate! Looks Like A beautiful Place To Live, Is It Expensive?
Yeah, Bribie Island is an expensive place to live, and quite far out. But it is an island that is awesome for 4x4 dirt track driving and camping on the Beach too. Very nice place.
Sounds like dont even bother trying to cross the bribie bridge on a bike on a weekend. You'll be giving way at every gap bit. Probably 10 more years before they built another bridge across.
