- Working speeds of between 12 km / h to 18 km / h are comfortably possible with the AMAZONE CatrosXL. This makes for enormously high work rates and keeps the working time required down to a minimum. The machine is available in working widths from 4 m to 8 m.
It is due to the big diameter 610 mm discs and the stretched distance, both between the two rows of discs and between the second row of discs and the roller, that enables the CatrosXL to achieve such high throughputs. In addition to the 610 mm coarsely-serrated discs, which are ideal for dry and heavy ground, customers can also choose the 610 mm finely-serrated version. These fine-serrated discs ensure a full-width surface disturbance and a maximum crumbling effect, even at an extremely shallow working depth such as when being used for seedbed preparation. With the proven disc spacing of 25 cm within a row, even large quantities of crop residues can pass the machine without any problem. The spacing between the front and rear discs of 12.5 cm also ensures a fully worked soil profile.
With the CatrosXL, there are 11 different rollers from AMAZONE to choose from. This means, depending on the soil type and condition, that the most suitable roller can be selected for reconsolidation, crumbling and depth control. Various pre-working tools are available for the CatrosXL, depending on whether the machine is equipped with a bogey chassis or centre running gear. A straw harrow, knife roller, Crushboard or guide wheels can be mounted in front of the disc segment. With the CatrosXL 6003-2TS compact disc harrow in combination with the knife roller, extremely resilient crop residues, such as maize or sunflowers stubble can be shredded before they are mixed in by the following disc segment. The rotting process is accelerated and field hygiene is significantly improved.

✔️ Insensitive to stones and dirt due to the enclosed design of the roller centre shaft
✔️ The two cutting edges on the reversible knifes which are made from tempered boron steel mean that the wearing costs are halved

hab ich in der schule nicht aufgepasst oder habt ihr ein fehler in der beschreibung der messerwalze ? die umfangsgeschwindigkeit wird doch wohl von der fahrgeschwindigkeit vorgegeben, nur die drehzahl ist höher , bei kleinem durchmesser
