I'm so bummed to have missed the live showing. But i am so grateful to have met y'all on the trail. Thank you for what you do and the inspiration. We look forward to all your adventures hope run into you again. I too had a few tears of joy...
We have gotten behind in watching, so just saw this one. Oh my gosh Kevin, you had my husband & I crying. We feel for you & the situation with working so much and still keeping up with the channel. Thank you for what you do! Your story is not only one of our favorite ways to unwind, but we are inspired, even at 51 & 53 years of age, to get out there and enjoy what God made! We love y’all! Thank you!
What an awesome feeling! You guys are doing amazing things. Don't think for one second that you are not inspiring thousands of people to get out. You can't stop now you guys are legends!
Your Alaska series inspired me and my son to go out and purchase an FJ Cruiser, outfit it and make the trip from upstate South Carolina to Prudhoe Bay. I have to tell you the 12,000 mile trip was life changing for us. I can't thank you enough for helping us stop talking about the trip, and doing it! I doubt you remember but you answered so many of my questions via email as we prepared for the trip. You're an awesome guy with a fantastic family. Keep doing what you do!
Brought tears to my eyes when Kevin started to cry. You guys do an amazing job and we all love and appreciate the time and effort you all put into this channel to make it what it is today. Thank you, and keep doing what you do.
I am so proud to be a New Mexican, New Mexico is a beautiful State, it still remains clean and prestine; modersation has not completely reached us here, we can still see the beauty that our ancestors saw when they came here. Pretty much we can see how this land looked like 200 years ago. Love your videos
Amazing to see you run into an appreciative fan on the trail ... I'm glad you shared your honest thoughts about running the channel - I think many people think they can start a TH-cam channel because it's "easy money". It's hard work to find your niche and develop compelling content that makes viewers want to come back. You've done this and you should be extremely proud... and on top of it, you're giving your daughter one heck of a childhood that she will ALWAYS remember. Keep on rockin' the trails and sharing your stories with us !
This is how y'all have helped me. Back in August I had an acute Diverticulitis attack. Since then it's been one complication after another. Don't be fooled Diverticulitis is a life event that will leave you with a 400 credit score. And try to wreck your life. You can't work etc. Well I was in the hospital so much, I couldn't watch your videos. Now that I finally had surgery Jan 31. I'm getting better but 95 days in and out of the hospital left me weak and basically learning how to to be normal again. I started back watching y'all's videos. I'm on this one and I had to tell that everyday I try to do something rig related. I'm only supposed to lift 10lbs. It's hard to find stuff I can do. However I find something to do. Even if it's putting a sticker on the window. Or drawing out a drawer system to build. I just wanted you to know, how you seriously inspire me to keep going to get ready for the trail. I hope to make it to the enchanted Rockies trail soon.
You guys are the best. I just watched this with my son Colin and he loves watching these videos as well. He is 8. I must admit I had a bit of New Mexico sand in my eyes in the same spot you had sand in your eyes Kevin. The fact you can stir deep emotions in people is a great gift. Keep on You Tubing!!! Best, Eric
So I got some New York dust in my eyes when I saw that too. Thank you and your beautiful family for introducing me to this life style. I just want to acknowledge you all for your courage to follow your dreams and stick with it. You inspire me and I'm sure others as well. Thanks to JP wherever he is for that priceless moment in time. I truly hope to see you out there.
Really respect the honesty about the ups and downs of the lifestyle… that’s rare and a real service to anyone considering making a change or any variation on the theme. So glad you found your inspiration when you needed it and cheers to you and your family.
I have being watching all of your videos over the last 2 weeks and I must say, Thank you for everything you do, I feel inspire now to go out, explore and spend more time with nature. I also love the energy your family provide and all of the good memories you are creating for your daughter, she will never forget them.
I‘m binge watching your Videos here in Germany now for two weeks since the first video. Never left a comment. But the dust from the NM road and your wonderful storytelling even made me cry here in a war facing europe. I‘m no overlander by any meens, but love your videos. Startet with TH-cam some years ago and i‘m proud of what i reached so far. The questions are the same i‘m asking me from time to time. But we carry on. Thanks for your great work. I will now continue with the NM tour. Stay healthy. Greetings from Germany. Dirk from Avanti on Tour
Please don’t stop, travelling makes you happy and your video editing , back ground music and the views are perfect . I forgot your channel name and have to search for 3 hours and finally found the channel, please keep doing what you do the best . Love from India.
That was butt clinching excitement. I know how hard you work to produce these videos. And I want to thank you for all the hard work you do. Travel safe and remember we love you guys.
I was packed and fueled to do Enchanted Rockies Trail last year and had to scrub the trip last minute and instead made a quick North Georgia trip. This year I had time set aside to try again but a work assignment got in the way. I called a fellow OB member last night and we made a commitment to try again next August/September. I have set aside 25 days off and we plan to “wing it” after we reach the northern end. Maybe to Montana from there. Will you be posting the gaia plot for the bypass on your website??
You three as a family are incredibly inspiring. My wife and I are getting ourselves sorted to start our overlanding adventures. I’m sure like you it will be a life long adventure. Can’t wait to see where you take us next, and where we end up! Happy adventuring and thanks for the inspiration!
You were breaking my heart when expressing your feelings of defeat.....and then, a patreon ❤. How inspiring!!!! I have been feeling defeated as well. This video was a reminder for me to focus on the good in my life, and that even though some days are rough, every expression of kindness has an impact on someone, and that we have to keep moving forward. Thanks.
I've always believed in the saying, "nothing good is ever easy". Because of you and your family continue to inspire me, I purchased a TLC 200 last year. Although my financial situation has changed, the truck is kind of a strain now. I could easily get rid of it. But, it also would be giving up on a dream, (a dream in a TLC, exploring this great country I call home) which I refuse to. There will ALWAYS be a light at the end of the tunnel. And if you ever feel stuck, down and out. All you need to do is look up. If tomorrow never came, I can be proud and happy that I drove across America and did "some" exploration. And will be again in the near future. I have you, Kevin and your family to thank for it. Because you continually inspire me. ❤ 💪
I am currently watching your video on the smart tv, gotta have a big screen to take in your awesome videos. I'll try to keep this short but I was so touched by your story of life wearing on you that I had to jump on the laptop. Please don't ever give up the amazing and inspiring life you have chosen, you touch so many of us in ways you will never know. I have fallen in love with your family and your epic adventures, you have inspired me to want to travel and see these trails and step out of the chaotic rat race that is called life now. I started a TH-cam channel almost 2 years ago and sometimes I feel like I am losing faith in still doing it but seeing your channel and y'alls awesome work(yes I am from the south haha) pushes me forward. I work a factory job for a major car manufacturer and the 4:50 alarm every morning gets old quick, I connect with your story very much and I just want to encourage you and pray God sees you through your trials. Bless you and your family and safe travels, you have a huge following out here that wishes you nothing but the best. Cheers my friends...I said I would try to stay short... so much for that haha. Take care.
You guys are such an inspiration for me and my daughter! Thanks for sharing your family and story with us!! It was a highlight meeting you guys at Overland Expo East this year. “May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rains fall soft upon your fields.” - Irish Blessing
Appreciate the honest moment and the tears guys. This life can be so hard. Even when it’s going well, life isn’t exactly easy. I’m glad you got to have that moment together as a family 😁🙌🏾
Thank You for taking me places I will never get to go and showing me the beautiful views I would never get to see without your videos, I enjoy going along with your family on these adventures in your youtube videos. Thanks again.
Always love your videos. My kids and I look forward to them every week. Thanks for giving everything you do both on the trail and with the work that goes into your videos. Please don’t forget to take some time for yourself. I promise we will all still be here if you want to take a day off and relax a bit! Keep up the great work. We’ll be watching and sharing away
Loved the last part of the video. The girls were adorable and what great memories they are making. They will look at these videos with great fondness. You are great parents!!
I really appreciate all your families hard work. I'm stuck at home mostly with chronic pain so love your videos. I do get out in my Jeep when feeling decent. This trail is going on bucket list hoping I will feel good enough one day to get out there. Thanks!
Inspiration?..Shoot... It's become an obsession for me because of you and your family. I hold you mostly responsible for freezing, ( we warmed up ) in the NE Ga mountain woods in the middle of our winter during a week long " camping trip ". I don't think you realize how many people you've ..inspired?...no ..changed?...maybe, influenced?.. Call it what you want, it helps with the everyday grind. Thanks for your ya'lls time.
I keep telling my sister that I have to go to Arizona but she insists New Mexico for some reason and I think I now know why. Thanks guys. Stay safe out there. Cheers!!!
Having a full time job always made me appreciate the weekends of camping, fishing and hiking even more. " Everybody's working for the weekend " Loverboy.
Whilst the inspiration to get out there is strong, when you can’t watching your adventures is the next best thing!! Enjoyed every minute. Thanks for sharing.
My wife and I did this for our summer trip. So amazing. Truly awesome trail, we LOVE your channel and your amazing family. My wife and I have fallen in love with New Mexico because of you three. We cannot wait to share adventures with our daughter as well.
Great video, I love watching all you do. Great memories from watching your original videos of the Enchanted Rockies. I laughed so hard at the little girls conversation about the squirrel.
Lol. Caroline cracked me up with the squirrel🤣😂. I liked the 2016 and current segment. Thanks again for another great episode. I hope you keep the dust out of your eyes next time. 😁.
I have to say, this has to be one of the best channels on youtube. The cinematography, the editing, the narration, all of it is top notch. But the musical choices are beyond even that. I always catch myself tapping my foot along to the music. You guy are amazing and deserve way more recognition and followers. Don't stop what you're doing, keep your heads up. We love everything you do!
watching you guys navigate through that rough section of trail and making adjustments gave me some idea what our early pioneers must have gone through breaking trail out west. No way to turn around and second guess it. You just had to put your shoulder to the wheel and press on. Great job!
Getting to the end of your rope happens to us all you can't let the distractions of life get you down keep on keeping on you are helping so many folks get the courage up to pursue dreams they thought were hopeless fantasies.
I live in this state and love having you guys here showing me all the wonderful things i have never see before. I also have love the content since coming across it a week ago. God-bless and be safe.
Love all your videos, especially the "family life" aspect you share. Two additional things I liked in this video are the suspension views, and the reference to Jason's "swelling". That was classic. And yes you are an inspiration to us.
I am a long time subscriber and for me, you bring back memories with my folks in a "New, 72, Fj-55" yep, 3-speed on the floor and non-syncro firste gear. One time in particular when Dad tells,....not asking, my preacher Granddather to not open the door, the water is too high while fording a back country creek where the bridge had recently been washed out. The only tracks were from a D8 cat parked on the other side. Thanks
I'm glad you're not stopping the channel and the amazing trails and time you get to spend with your family Outdoors because of you and your family I plan on taking trips with my grandkids this summer I want to take them to the Grand Canyon in a lot of other places if I can thank you very much all of it you sharing all of your Journeys with us
I love this channel, just gets better and better. You have honestly inspired me to get out of my comfort zone from exploring remote camping areas to doing my own maintenance on the 4runner. Tomorrow I begin my DIY drawer system on the back of the 4runner and again, it was this channel that got me motivated to do it myself.. Thank you for your videos!!
Love watching the channel that the 3 of you create and put out each week, keep up the great work. Hope the whole motor home debacle works out for you guys. 🇭🇲
I live in BC Canada, the land of dead trees across the bush roads. So I have two words; chain saw. Total time on task; 5 minutes. My motto is work smarter not harder. Lovely scenery. Great videos.
So cool, everything happens for a reason. I really hope you continue doing this, quite honestly you have some of the best video editing I've seen on an overland vlog period.
sometimes i wonder y m watching ur videos like addict & feel u r a good family but now i know @9 50 .... that inside u r a gentle heart family .... We in Islam believe that man who love his daughter is surely softhearted & priceless .... stay bless fellows hats off for u
BREATHTAKING SCENERY ! BEAUTIFUL VIDEO COLORS ! HOPEFULLY GETS STRAIGHTENED OUT WITH THE RV TOO & THEY HAVE TO PAY BACK WHAT YOU HAD TO PUT OUT FOR LAWYER , RENTING INCONTINENCE MENTAL STRAIN / STRESS ETC ! BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! GOD BLESS YOU ALL ALWAYS ! ENJOYED !
Wow man this episode was amazing. You are an inspiration for lot of people. You guys are doing an amazing work motivating lot of people to get out of their mechanical life and spend some time in the nature and refresh the mind. Keep up the good work you all 3 are amazing hosts on videos.
I don't usually Comments on TH-cam Videos. But Watching your Videos and Listening your Voice and story Makes me a Warm Feeling in my Heart. Unfortunately Iam not your Patreon. I come from a poor Family. Always dream about owning a 4x4 and go to unknown and Beautiful place. But that would never happen in this life. All my life earning will be spent on for my Family. My heart also tell me i won't able to afford one SUV too. But i will watch your videos and fullfill my dream in place of myself🤗🤗🤗
My second favorite vid from you guys! Second to the vid you discovered Jack in Alaska. Thank You for sharing. So sorry you're dealing with the BS from the motor home. But i'll say this selfishly.... PLEASE don't stop posting vids! ❤
Excellent vid again. I am sure you’ve considered this- chainsaw puts short work to trees on trail. Bucked up and thrown aside 10 minutes max. My personal fav piece of gear. Added bonus, next travellers gets firewood rounds! Many thx.
Glad you preserved, wanted to pass along that you inspired us to by a 4Runner and that we are already planning on how our more capable and spacious rig will help escape as a (growing!) family next Summer. I might have gotten a bit of New Mexico dust in my eye during this video, too. Just sayin'.
We had a road trip from Las Vegas back to Upstate NY. We passed through Santa Fe around end of October as detour to by-pass Colorado. The snow storm still caught us but thankfully it was not too bad and we made it out in good shape and headed to Kansas City that night. Love your video and hopefully I will encounter your convoy one day!
Hope I to see you guys on one of the trail some day. Stay strong and amazing as always. To inspire many others like me to get out there, life it too short.
With Mr. Swellrunner selling his 4runner, I was heart broken hearing that, you didn't think it was worth it. Glad to hear you're still gonna keep going. Thank you. I wait for your videos to come out
This content is fantastic and I'm binging it!. I live in Albuquerque and I've had a highly amateur youtube channel for over the last 10 years, on nothing too specific, but primarily off roading videos of my Isuzu Trooper and other shenanigans. I'm trying to get ideas for some new content and this stuff is just rad! Had no idea of these trails in the santa fe national forest and definitely want to check them out!
Another great video. I'm not physically able to do the trails like I used to and I really appreciate the effort that you guys put into your videos & hope you are able to keep doing it. Have you ever thought about having a meet & greet somewhere here in NM? We could all bring an item for the local food bank.
you guys do an amazing job on editing and video. you are the only TH-cam site i dont fast forward. your life style is one you fit into ,stay on the path you guys are on. sometimes things get rough ,thats life . all the great things take work. stay focused on your dreams. sue that camper company , such poor craftsmanship . its to bad some company's dont stand behind what they make / sell .that is just one reason business come and go. takes away from the american dream. old your dream close and follow it.
I'm so bummed to have missed the live showing. But i am so grateful to have met y'all on the trail. Thank you for what you do and the inspiration. We look forward to all your adventures hope run into you again. I too had a few tears of joy...
Thank you for being in the right place at the right time!
I bet you had no idea just how impactful you holding that patch out the window would be! Still gets me... Thanks for getting out there!
Amazing the memories you are creating for your son! Fathering....you're doing it!

We've been looking seriously at the Enchanted route for one of our adventures next year. This video cemented our plans. Maybe we'll see you out there!

I live in Santa Fe and visit the national forest all the time. Thanks for fixing our trails!
Some of that enchanted NM dust reached me all the way here in Indiana. Kevin and family, thank you!
Thanks fo riding along! Careful with that dust 😉
If you have to take a break to keep making videos do it, don’t get burned out please. You’re one of my favorite channels 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Love watching the channel that the 3 of you create and put out each week, keep up the great work.
Hope the whole motor home debacle works out for you guys.
🇭🇲
Thanks so much, Ben!
I live in BC Canada, the land of dead trees across the bush roads. So I have two words; chain saw. Total time on task; 5 minutes. My motto is work smarter not harder. Lovely scenery. Great videos.
Percy is a great name!!!
Love what u guys do. Thanks for it all.
So cool, everything happens for a reason. I really hope you continue doing this, quite honestly you have some of the best video editing I've seen on an overland vlog period.
Thanks so much, David!

Enjoyed watching this morning with husband before he went to work! Morning coffee and a great episode!
Update on the RV when you can!
A great way to start the day 😉. Probably won't see any movement on the RV for many more months. Legal system is ridiculously slow...
That’s a big bummer!!! So sorry you guys are dealing with this BS!
Stay positive my friends!
Thanks!
Looks like a great trail!

Great video guys!! Y’all truly are a great inspiration!
Wonderful video. Living here in NM, this gives me a great new trail to check into & explore. Thanks !!!
Wow man this episode was amazing. You are an inspiration for lot of people. You guys are doing an amazing work motivating lot of people to get out of their mechanical life and spend some time in the nature and refresh the mind. Keep up the good work you all 3 are amazing hosts on videos.
Thanks so much for the support!
Love the interview with the girls. It's great to see kids (esp. girls) loving adventure.
Thank you for keeping us inspired! Really hope you win your RV case! Nice job with the tree btw 😉
What a fantastic video. I thank you for sharing your experience. I just purchased a 4x4 of my own and look forward to adventures such as this one.
Another awesome video. Great filming and mad driving skills. 😀 Can't wait till next week.
Many thx.
Another awesome video, thanks!
Kevin, loved the 2016 flashbacks! Great episode!!
Such an inspiration! Keep up the good work! Subscribed!
Loved this video! We all need you to keep going!!!❤️
so nice to see an upload!! looking forward to the next one!
omg that ditch was sketchy kevin! glad trailer didn't roll. safe travels buddy.
Another great video. I'm not physically able to do the trails like I used to and I really appreciate the effort that you guys put into your videos & hope you are able to keep doing it. Have you ever thought about having a meet & greet somewhere here in NM? We could all bring an item for the local food bank.
you guys do an amazing job on editing and video. you are the only TH-cam site i dont fast forward. your life style is one you fit into ,stay on the path you guys are on. sometimes things get rough ,thats life . all the great things take work. stay focused on your dreams. sue that camper company , such poor craftsmanship . its to bad some company's dont stand behind what they make / sell .that is just one reason business come and go. takes away from the american dream. old your dream close and follow it.
lived in NM for a couple of years, did lots of exploring.
absolutely beautiful!
A photo with JP? I would have asked you for at least one, hahaha . Tnx for your videos! :)
