Best short video I’ve seen explaining this draw on your battery thank you 👍👍
Very useful video and simply explained !!!
nice info thanks!
84 Corvette problem. I pulled the fuse that was causing the draw. However, there are over 12 circuits on this fuse. How do I find which circuits is causing the draw?
What cause gmc savana blown fuse as you start it fuse blown plane showed eng 2 block fuse 21
Hello i been try this, still can't find what's short... Do you have any other idea about shorts circuit?
A drain on a battery isn't a short, a short can drain a battery but it can blow a fuse, start a fire etc. I assume you don't mean a short to ground bu a parasitic drain.
Ooh lala
Do you mean grey pupon
1. Use a thermal imaging camera. I know they are pricey.
I tried this and my test light did not go off. I have a diesel truck with two batteries so I completely disconnected one battery then tried your method. But no success
Your issue would then be on the constant hot side of the fuse panel. Problem would be with something like your starter or charging circuit... alternator etc. I see this was from a couple of weeks ago so I hope it still helps.
@toddwood1150 Thank you for replying. I'll check it out see if works
I don't get it? Aren't you just completing the circuit again? Battery cable off connect test light to cable , light to post completes circuit again.🤔
If the light is on, something is draining the battery. Pulling fuses one at a time until the light goes off will often point to what is causing the drain. For example, if you pull the tail-light fuse and the light goes out, then that is where the problem is. Be sure it is not an open door, dome light, or something similar.
@@HVAC_Mechanicjust to make sure I got the right tool. I got a “circuit tester” but is that a “test light”. Are they the same thing
