I have an indispensable item in my craft/sewing room - it's an umbrella. - an inexpensive, collapsible one! I am working in close quarters due to all of my "inventory" and an umbrella makes the perfect protection from sprays like basting spray, glimmer spritz sprays, paint... I lay the item over the inside of the ribs of the open umbrella and it keeps the over spray contained. Then I fold it and pop it into it's pocket in the shoe storage unit hanging on the back of my door. when it gets really "gunky" I will go back to Big Lots and get a new one.

I do like the heat of summer, cause I live in Maine and winters are cold on old bones. My favorite tools are the 2 1/2" x18" ruler and clips.

Thanks for sharing! It only took 2 years to find you and I’m glad I did! I have been sewing/quilting for 30+ years and it is the first time I have seen a few of these! I was listing those on a note pad as you showed them, it would have been helpful to know the exact name and see the packaging (if you still have it) in the demo. This was fantastic! Again, thanks! Very helpful!

I saw some I just might have to invest in. My big Oliso Iron is not easy to travel with and that little Oliso looks great. Good job on the video, it was fun and informative.

I loved your list of favorite notions and have some and would like some of the ones you showed. I love my suction cup magnet that I put on my machine to hold my little scissors. I’m partial to the Karen Kay Buckley little scissors, but those Tula Pink ones look great as well. The magnet not only holds my little scissors, but sometimes I need to put a machine needle there. I love my stash n store, my Tula Pink tweezers, my pressurized spray bottle for water, my wool pressing mat and my clover seam ripper. I’d love to know if anyone has bought one of those rotary cutter blade sharpeners and what they think of them.

    • @DandelionStitches

I'm curious about the blade sharpeners, too. Also love KKB scissors!

Valerie Spackman - I have the little round sharpener for the 45mm blades and it works like a charm. It's well worth the cost though I can't remember what I paid for it, the only downside Is it only does 45s and I have a lot of other sizes, but then again it does pay for itself pretty quickly. ( Tri-Sharp 45mm Dual Rotary Blade Sharpener). I tried to send you a photo of it but I don't know how.
3 sizes are on sale right now at Joann online for 40% off, $17.99. I'm getting the 60mm and I might even get the 28mm. Good luck.

Hey….i just found you today but I love your videos! I was tickled to see that I have several of these items, but you helped me decide to buy the desk vacuum (I’ve recently been looking at them, plus a few other things you showed are items I think I must have! Thank you for this…I too love notions! 💗 (also…just the other day I ordered the oliso iron…..was unsure what to do but had purchased a different brand in the past and it was junk. So I’m glad you confirmed that I made the right choice!)
Love and appreciate your time and effort in making these videos. 😊

My first time here. I enjoy learning about your notions. Some new notions I really like. I do think you could just expand on a few things. Like how sharp the scissors are and how long they stay sharp and how to sharpen them, also that/the iron. How hot does it get and how long it stays on. Just impressed with your notions and I want to look into getting a few cause they look better than what I have. Great job! Now I'm interested in some of these notions. 😄 Thank you

Thanks for showing these notions Holly! I have seen the Needle case, but not how you know where each color is. Does that make sense? Another person pushed the threaded needle in and wound up the side and voila! I couldn't see a thing. OK. So... how do you know where each color is SEW Thanks for showing me 😅
