You did a great! job. This is probably the best video for truly thin hair. Actually no hairdressers could ever provide as much volume I could, and it seems like you really know how to do a hair like ours. I have even less hair than you have and it is dark brown, so for me I have to deal with my showing scalp :(. I definitely learned new tricks from you.. What I do is blow dry it upside down, fully dry it, it gives another level of "fullness". Thanks for sharing.

Thank GOD! _Finally_ somebody whose hair looks exactly like mine! I have a terrible time finding videos or advice matched to my hair type, unless they are from Scandinavian vloggers, they tend to have hair similar to my own (I inherited my hair from my dad whose parents were born in Germany so that makes sense). You would not believe the pain and struggle I have gone through in trying to grow out my fine, fragile hair - it will not hold a style, and slips right out of any hair ties, clips, bobby pins or etc.

  • @bwabwa8810

Yes, finally! As everyone else has said, FINALLY someone with hair that actually looks like mine! Your hair is thinnest in the same place as mine, and you also have the same head shape. I'm not alone! I always felt cheated because everyone else seemed to have thick hair compared to mind. I love the tips. Will be testing some of these products. I won't do clip-ins though because I know they'll kill my hair. I might try a halo, though.

Tip for the coconut oil - always apply on dry hair (not wet/damp), leave it in for desired amount of time, then, still with the wet hair, put sjampoo in yoir hair and work it through. The sjampoo absorbs excess oil from the dry hair. Then rinse. Now continue your normal routine.

So happy to get some great advice for thin hair! What some people don't get is that it's just a hair type, there is nothing wrong with it, nothing you can help, it's just how my (and your, and so many other's) hair grows. It's super frustrating to style though, my hair is naturally very straight and all attempts at curls only "slide out". I gave up in my teens and haven't done anything to my hair since. But now at 33, I'm starting to feel like I want to try styling it a bit to change it up. Will try your way and see if it helps 😊😊

Best volumizer for my fine, thin hair is blow drying it upside down and brushing it while drying in the opposite direction of growth. I've been doing it for 40+ years and so many hairdressers started to copy me over the years. The other thing I use to get more volume is a flat iron starting at the root and pressing it at the scalp tightly against the growth direction. That seems to hold for many more hours than a curling iron.

    • @TashVitorsky
      @TashVitorsky  ปีที่แล้ว +1

I used to do that as well for years, esp during my teenage years.

Doing some research for an upcoming vid about my thin, fine hair and volumizing products & found your video. When you opened with the "oil-in-the-hair" issue, I figured you'd choose to wash it again! Me, too. A styling product I really like is the L'Oreal Blow Dry Creme (1/2 tsp before drying). My hair will only hold a curl from a curling iron if I use John Amico's Curling Iron Texturizer spray (a.k.a. "CIT"). (You can call them to ask which salons in your area sell it to avoid paying a shipping fee.) And my favorite hair spray is Matrix's Vavoom spray (and I can stand the scent!). I'm testing some other volumizing products now and hair growth products (I lost more hair in Oct & Nov and it hasn't grown back, like I had any to lose!). :D

Have you tried the BIG SEXY HAIR powder play? Its so cool! it has that icky feel that I think you are explaining

I use texture sprays after it’s dry and usually after I style it. It gives my hair grit and hold, but not so much like a hairspray. Otherwise my hair is soft and limp. Dry shampoo is my favorite hair product, esp the 3-in-1 by OGX and ever so often I’ll use a texture spray to give my hair some grit so the style holds. Hope that was somewhat helpful. :)

Great video. I love the money pieces in the front. You need to be careful with the extensions as the tension can make your hair fall out. This happened to my hair stylist and it was permanent. Also, I went to a new hair stylist recently and she advised against extensions on me because my hair is too fine and she warned the tension would not be good for me and cause more hairloss.

    Castor oil is used
as treatment not a styling tool. Basically you would put 3-6 full droplets of castor oil on the dry scalp, lightly rub all over and leave it on for 6 hours. Wash it off as usual, for better results use with castor based shampoo and conditioner ( which usually you have to keep for a frew min on)
So it's a hustle and you'd have to do it for 6 month at least and repeat after a little brake.
    You will see results tho

I'm shocked at how SHINY your hair is, especially after using dry shampoo! I love the dry shampoo trick for fullness, but it always makes my hair dull!

Thank you for this ❤️ I'm gonna start castor oil and rosemary! I've tried all sorts it's just like your hair. You do a great job! Do you find having color in your hair gives it more depth and body too?

Thank you! Your hair looks beautiful! Mine is pretty much the same way. I recommend any Batiste dry shampoo. I’ve tried tons of brands but for me, as a blonde at least, Batiste is magic. The one intended for curls works like hair spray for me😂. Anyway, it’s the most important thing in my hair routine.
Can I ask how you add the extensions? I can’t get mine to “stick” in my hair. Anyway, thanks tons for this!

You would've shown how to install the extensions better.
Do you have a video about extensions only??
