  • JooTube.TV Psalm 149:3 "Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King. 3Let them praise His name with dancing, and make music to Him with tambourine and harp." 4 "For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the afflicted with salvation.… " If it were after sundown, we couldn't film this. Thanks to summertime and early davening - watch, learn, and be inspired.

    I love orthodox services. There’s no music, there is a separation between men and women, but I feel the love anyway. You feel God’s presence amongst them. It feels like it’s the way things should be on a Saturday. I love listening to the men chant and sing. Shabbat shalom!

    This reminds me of jamming with my band, and nobody knows quite when the song ends. But seriously, although I could be classified as an agnostic, I do appreciate watching people participate in their beliefs when it brings them such pure joy. A scene like this is a far cry from the spectacle, deceit, greed, and hypocrisy that I'm used to seeing in organized religion.

I wrang a tamborine and danced for twelve hours to the G-d in my house and a fog appeared and super inner shalom. The shabbot commands are there for our own good. Abide in your dwelling (no traveling), gather in convoacation, praise, celebrate, no cooking (distractions), no servile work, and all the other Sabbath commands. The Glory appears when his chosen do so. Written only as an encouragement.

A collection of psalms are sang in addition to some deep mystical poems about our national spiritual aspirations and future redemption. Following this, the first sabbath prayer is recited ie- the evening prayer, Jewish ‘days’ start in the evening.

      That is correct. Yeshua` (his actual, Hebrew name) was Jewish, and he still is Jewish. All his apostles (shliHim) were Jewish, and in fact, their writings (what is often called the "New Testament" writings, or the writings of the "Brit Hadasha") are all Jewish. The whole "New Testament" is a Jewish story that fits perfectly within the story of Abraham and Israel found in the Hebrew Bible.

      Most all the Non Testament writings are NON-Jewish and pagan at that. You Xtians may believe any mendacious malarkey you wish, but at least have the courtesy to spare us of it in places where Jews are likely to gather.

      you do not want to know about Judaism if you are a devout Christian. the more you learn the truth the more you realize that your life has been a lie. not everybody is ready for that reality!

      You can Google “Chabad” and “candle lighting time” together, and you Will find out the unique time of Shabbat for each week.
      It is best to do it in advance of Shabbat, so you are prepared for the time changes each week.
      If you need help lighting your Shabbat candles, call a local rabbi and they will help you

      On Shabbat, we were friends from work, and spend time with family and friends, praising God.
      We don’t handle money on the Sabbath, and we don’t work on the Sabbath, because you know why.
      We do not bury the dead on the service, and nor do we have weddings on the Sabbath.
      It is reserved for prayer, and reading Torah.
      I hope that helps.

    Lyrics?

  • @arihack
    @arihack 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    "and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart" ... You can not say you detect an odor of Christianity, just because they're very happy. There are several ways to bring the cavana, joy is one of those ways and is what you give to understand and I agree with you ... Having the intention is necessary for the Torah, for it says, "with all your heart". But be happy, dancing, jumping, screaming is not synonymous with being Notzri.

    This is so beautiful! Do the women ever participate in the dancing? What where the mean reading from , or what passage or scripture was it? And if its a song where can I see the lyrics? Please I'd like to know?

    • @LisaRichards_123
      @LisaRichards_123 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What is interesting is that a lot of Jewish prayers are repetitions of statements from the Torah and holy writings, or referrals to things in the Writings.
      The women dance, especially at weddings and things like that.

    no need to offend. They are different points of view. The joy is not the Torah commandment, but the lack of it does not allow us to have cavana, the intention at the time to pray.
