KAPILASH Wildlife Sanctuary

The Kapilash sanctuary in the district of Dhenkanal is located at a distance of 85 kms from Bhubaneswar, the state capital. The Kapilash forest spread over an area of 125.5 sq kms, got sanctuary status in 2011. Full of trees and surrounded by mountains, the Kapilash sanctuary is home to a number of animals with elephants enjoying the pride of place.

Odisha has enormous strength in ecotourism,so many sanctuaries are there with accommodation but only for rich peoples not for the all categories! Govt of Odisha should rethink not only for pilgrims but also for nature lover common man to stay safely @minimum expense or encourage the local peoples to create local accommodations to protect and strengthened the core vision of Odisha Tourism as well as strengthened local economy, strictly discouraging all type of the middleman!
