      To blame CU for bringing down the Pac9 shows a typical liberal lack of IQ. The death blow was cast by a string of incompetent commissioners and presidents chancellor for the last decade. The current philosophy of “Lets do nothing and wait for a $50 million deal is beyond bone head. All CU did is decide not to die with sinking Pac9. Those that choose to go down with the ship need therapy

    Again, you guys have great guests who give great insight. I learned a long time ago, that if a deal is going to fall apart, it is always the last minute, because everything is negotiable until you have to sign on the dotted line. I will say that another thing that could make the deal fall apart is if the Big 12 votes against ASU. I am unsure how likely that is, but in the end, it is the Big 12 who has the final decision, not ASU.

    IF the Pac had gone with a streaming deal that had value, would the Pac have the power to dictate kickoff times? Could the west coast get 2-4PM games that are not Midwest, east coast games? If you are streaming you don't have to follow traditional time slots.

    • @rdramos13
      @rdramos13 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes possibly. But that could be another issue, because if all the other networks already have games going on, there might not be anyone to piggyback the signal. The downside of Apple, is that it's going to be a paid streaming service, so estimate $50-$70 a year. Other than a teams die hard supporters, nobody is going to pay that when they can already watch football on their cable/satellite/streaming TV service.

  • @Meme-zc4cw

    College football is about to become something only for the small handful of elite brands. If ASU and UA can't compete in the Pac 12, how will they compete in the Big 12? Let's be honest, outside of USC, no one in the Pac 12 has a chance at competing for anything other than a NY6 bowl (or whatever we have in a few years) and I am being generous because I think there are a lot of 6-6 and 7-5 seasons in their future. I am sorry, Oregon and Washington will get destroyed in the Big 10. As for Cal and Stanford, they might actually have to call the games at halftime player safety reasons. 😂 All this being said, I am a die hard Pac 12 fan and this does piss me off. I blame no one but Larry Scott and Presidents who either didn't care about sports or completely misread what was going on in college football. This didn't have to happen. Hats off to the Big 10 and Big 12. You guys played it perfectly.

      Crow is an ISU allum, and he has (and likely still does) felt that the purpose of the university is to advance knowledge and that sports are not an integral part of the university. Therefore, he has very little experience in any matters related to sports. He has however done what he was hired to do: turn ASU from a joke party school into a Tier 1 research institution. There are people walking around the streets today with $2m in their pocket to spend on a Magic the Gathering card. The Barbie movie has made more than $1B at the box office. It's a shame Utah getting in its own way. They'd be an excellent addition if they just get over themselves. Utah, you have never been, nor will ever be, equal in academics to the likes of Stanford. Quit trying to be something you're not and learn to love yourself

    Source: Arizona was forced to split from ASU tonight because "ASU has an offer they cannot refuse."
    ASU is not going to the Big12.

    So why is it that the big 10 gets blamed for killing the Pac 12 but probably 4 teams are going to go to the big 12 out of the Pac 12 but it’s the big ten Who killed the Pac 12

      @@rknvonhoffmann8245 no, USC and UCLA caused the first blow! The Big Ten just picked up the phone like any power five conference would’ve nobody would’ve turned on US C and UCLA to come to their conference.

      the 4 teams willing to go to the B12 are ONLY open to going BECAUSE the BIG raided USC and UCLA...the BIG already killed the PAC with that move...a slow death..the B12 might just put it out of its misery..but make no mistake, the BIG dealt the death blow last year
