George Kliavkoff should have been fired by all the Presidents in the University after this meeting, as this isn't acceptable. Maybe he should have spent a lot less time tampering with games for his buddies in Vegas, and should have done more as a Commissioner. What he's done is not acceptable.

Going beyond 16 teams will require approval from ESPN and FOX, and they may not do so. It’s all up to Yormark on which ones he wants to grab
Personally I miss the Big 8 , Pac 10 , ACC and big east with Miami. Super conferences suck and who wants to watch Big 10 football except only when Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State are playing. Nebraska football is horrible 13 years after leaving Big 12. Nebraska, come back home where you belong in the Big 12. You are a proud great plains university and Kansas and Kansas State football games are dearly missed

Keep in mind with this apple deal and the Pac-12. The pac-12 has to pay for the productions for all the games. The average cost per game to produce a game to be broadcasted is $1-2 million a game. That’s the death nail in this deal not to mention how much less you are getting per school with budgets already set.
Streaming is not the wave of the future. People will still want to watch their teams on regular TV or Cable. The NBA and MLB have learned the hard way that you can’t overcharge for your product because the average fan won’t chase you to cable or streaming. They’ll just watch the highlights. People still love their major network Saturdays and Sunday football and that’s not changing. The PAC 12 minus UCLA and USC is done. Nobody in the Midwest or East are going to stay up till midnight to watch their games. Arizona needs to go the Big 12 and the PAC 12 needs to add San Diego State, UNLV, Colorado State, Air Force, SMU and Tulane. Tulane with Willie Fritz is a BEAST!!! Sad days for me. I live in the Bay Area, I’ve been watching my Wildcats up here ever since Todd Lichti and the Cardinal upset us when we were #1 in ‘88. I’m going to lose something I’ve been doing since I was a kid if they leave the PAC.
I think the B10 will eventually decide to expand to 20 teams instead of 18, and may be sooner than later if a deal to go to the Big XII is not made soon by these programs. If UCLA and USC have a say, my guess is they would vouch for Arizona as the first selection for expansion. The SEC may also consider and beat the B10 to the punch. The Big XII should have ASU and Utah at the top of the list for expansion. Arizona and ASU is a package deal for the Big XII, but not necessarily for the B10. The B10 may also be waiting on a pair to pluck from the ACC then decide to expand to 20 teams.
Most likely asu will not join big12. They are not a preferred invite well as of right now they are not. They are interests in arizona, oregon, washington, utah as possible editions as preferrred right now
I would love ASU to join. Oregon and Washington are going to hedge their bets on joining the B1G. Utah and UConn would be battling it out for the 16th spot.

The ESPN/Fox Big12 offer is the same as what Colorado is getting the 31.5 mil. This Apple deal is closer to 20 million. Not to mention each school is going to have to pay for their own production. So if you have 7 home games at best that is 7 mil a year so even at your 22 number that ends up at 15. This deal is a horrible deal and anyone who thinks it is a great deal is crazy. ASU and Utah would be smart to jump to the Big 12.

@@drgat6953 Arizona men’s basketball program should get credit for winning on 2001. But we’re talking football programs, does the Big 12 think they snatched up a blue blood program in Colorado and/or Arizona. Any teams the PAC replaces them with won’t do any worse.

Horrific interview by these two “journalists “ . So pathetic. The truth is the FOX offer to ASU & Utah is only $20M. The Apple offer is $22M. Therefore, the Apple/PAC 12 offer is more than the than the FOX/Big 12 offer.
The ESPN/Fox Big12 offer is the same as what Colorado is getting the 31.5 mil. This Apple deal is closer to 20 million. Not to mention each school is going to have to pay for their own production. So if you have 7 home games at best that is 7 mil a year so even at your 22 number that ends up at 15. This deal is a horrible deal and anyone who thinks it is a great deal is crazy. ASU and Utah would be smart to jump to the Big 12.
