I feel y’all, the same age as Peniel. My parents (also Asian immigrants), when my Dad was 25 he already had 5 kids. I’m 27 and literally cannot comprehend why he did that haha.
My parents had 4 kids and were home owners at 30/31 (as immigrants in germany without higher education). I'm a 28 year old biologist still living with my mom...like how the f did they manage that...
As Korean-Americans, I do wonder if y’all feel weird when/if addressing each other (especially among the Korean-Americans/British/Australian crew) in the Korean social etiquettes? Like if BM and Peniel did just start addressing Ashley as noona haha.
Don't worry about leaving your 20's I'm 36 and still feel like I'm 23 at times. Time moves so fast you just have to go with the flow and whats happening. I've settled enough to feel like and 'adult' (stable job and a mortgage) but also still feel free enough as in my 20's to still be open to things that come my way.
I’m 31 and I must say, my 30’s is so much fun than my 20’s. I’m more established in my career, I make more money, I’m more sure of myself, and still have energy to do whatever I want. Embrace your 30’s, everyone!

39:47 vulnerability for the sake of friendship is one of the most important parts of adulthood. most people experience reservation with this, so you're definitely not alone here, but it is something you'll have to reckon with eventually, if you hope to be well-adjusted socially. so there are three things to think about: 1) not everyone is a social butterfly, and not everyone will be a completely open book all the time, so you don't need to be either. don't pressure yourself to be more open than you're initially willing to be. the last thing you want to do is stunt your confidence by overexposing yourself. you don't have to break down your own door and let the whole town in. however, 2) as ashley stated in a QnA with joan a couple years ago (the one where they get distracted by the natural lighting outside, and couldn't tell if it was rain or pollution lol) strength of friendship is often dependent on opening yourself to others. as long as you're aware of that, which you seem to be, then your head is in the right place, and you have the foundation to do what's necessary. so my advice to you is, 3) take it at your own pace. open up when you're ready; little by little if you need to. cast the fishing line out a bit and see what bites. if you're not comfortable with that, reel it back in a bit. see what works for you, and eventually you'll know what your limits are. with a little trial and error, you'll be able to throttle yourself up or down such that your comfort level will be compatible with the needs of those around you.

I'm single and by choice! Am I lonely? who doesn't get lonely? Are you lonely cause you are? or got lonely because the people around you keep asking and then you got lonely. That's a whole different thing. Learn who you are and be comfortable with you wanna be. Being lonely, sad, and happy is part of life.

I've seen Peniel since he debuted in BTOB and it just struck me (again) that we're actually of the same age lmao. Hearing from him, Matthew and Ashley with their thoughts on being in their twenties... man, i thought i was the only one having it hard, especially on the settling down part. my parents relatives will ask me most of the time when will i ever settle down to get married and have kids then here's me being a twenty-seven-year-old still struggling for my career to go somewhere. This is such a comforting talk to hear. Thank you to Junny as well for sharing his two cents
Junny had worked as server so that he could afford equipments for his dream. It's not easy to take a break from doing what you love and do completely different thing, even tho you know the real goal behind it.

I really enjoy listening to "GET REAL" this is the only dive podcasts i check every week and I'm not a fan of this kind of show. @Ashley you don't have to feel bad about the 10 pm curfew you had with your group because its part of self discipline and you did great job. Besides people can still have social life and enjoy even with curfews. It's just a matter of time management.
Late to the party but I recently started listening to Get Real podcasts on Spotify when I'm WFH and it's helping me stay focused and feel less lonely when I'm not in the office - also helps that it's genuinely good (funny, sweet, enlightening etc etc)! Thanks Dive/Get Real teams!
I’m so glad Junny is coming out in more radio shows and being here on Get Real. When I found out about Junny, I couldn’t find ANYTHING about him on the internet lol he was so new. I feel like a proud mom literally watching him grow as an artist. I can’t wait to see him grow more and more.

My mom was 32 when she had me. She said she was busy building her career. She was okay when she was younger but now, she told me she kinda envy her friends cus they already have grandchildren while me, i just finished college and has no plans to get married anytime soon 🤣 but if she could turn back the time, she'd do the same, cus being a Mom is far from easy

I swear 46 minutes is not enough! I want to listen to their stories for 2 hrs. Theyre so comforting and relatable. Definitely the people you’d want to be with when your lost or confused. I've seen Peniel since he debuted in BTOB and it just struck me (again) that we're actually of the same age lmao. Hearing from him, Matthew and Ashley with their thoughts on being in their twenties... man, i thought i was the only one having it hard, especially on the settling down part. my parents relatives will ask me most of the time when will i ever settle down to get married and have kids then here's me being a twenty-seven-year-old still struggling for my career to go somewhere. This is such a comforting talk to hear. Thank you to Junny as well for sharing his two cents

Junny had worked as server so that he could afford equipments for his dream. It's not easy to take a break from doing what you love and do completely different thing, even tho you know the real goal behind it.

I really enjoy listening to "GET REAL" this is the only dive podcasts i check every week and I'm not a fan of this kind of show. @Ashley you don't have to feel bad about the 10 pm curfew you had with your group because its part of self discipline and you did great job. Besides people can still have social life and enjoy even with curfews. It's just a matter of time management.

I’m so glad Junny is coming out in more radio shows and being here on Get Real. When I found out about Junny, I couldn’t find ANYTHING about him on the internet lol he was so new. I feel like a proud mom literally watching him grow as an artist. I can’t wait to see him grow more and more.

My mom was 32 when she had me. She said she was busy building her career. She was okay when she was younger but now, she told me she kinda envy her friends cus they already have grandchildren while me, i just finished college and has no plans to get married anytime soon 🤣 but if she could turn back the time, she'd do the same, cus being a Mom is far from easy

I swear 46 minutes is not enough! I want to listen to their stories for 2 hrs. Theyre so comforting and relatable. Definitely the people you’d want to be with when your lost or confused. And my most favorite part, Peniel and BM’s attack on Ashley’s 10 pm curfew 🤣🤣🤣 never gets old! Just really love the guys here and love the fact that Ashley is the only girl 🥰 and she’s very calm, prim and smart. Im a melody but damn Peniel needs to express himself more in English: when he speaks, his words really got substance and depth. I’m always amazed how good he is in doing podcast. And his sense of humor is 💯 . And BM what can I say, a natural charmer! Who wouldnt fall for this guy? Really glad that this TRIO happened!!
