Steph, when a parent dies, a part of you gets taken too. The reason you feel this way is because you now need to learn what your life looks like without him in it and navigate through each situation as it comes. It does get easier but that doesn't take away from how hard it is. Unfortunately this rat race we live in doesn't allow us the time or space we need to grieve properly. I am sorry for your loss x
Thank you for sharing your daily toughts and struggles with us. i hope it helps you doing that videos as much as it helps us ! Feeling lost when you re still mourning is natural, give yourself some time to "accept and recover" from your loss And even tho I know it's difficult, continue to do the things you liked when you created your company, like working in the warehouse for an hour or two, first it will helps you staying down to earth and secondly it will remind you why you decided to become a boss. I ran my own small business for 20 years and the moments of the workind days were when i was working with my staff in the production area and not when i was alone in my office doing my "boss" job Being your own boss is way more difficult and stressful than people think, so enjoying it and still having fun while working is essential for your mental health ! The cold is hitting hard this year, stay warm and cosy ;)
I woke up feeling lost for no apparent reason. I could have chosen to watch or listen to so many different people but I knew I needed some Steph. Thank you for sharing your life, vulnerabilities, nuggets of wisdom. I needed to hear 'remember your why'. I have a Jessica too but now I know I need to figure out what she tells me so I know when not to listen to her. You're actually the third person I've heard this week to give it a name so no you are not crazy! Fall in love with your routine - such powerful words. Adorable watching you with your girls and their beautiful love notes. We're very similar mums. Grief is like waves it ebbs and flows. You're doing everything right lovely. ❤
Wish I could give you a big cuddle Steph 💕 you are so down to earth and do genuine. You’ve just gone through great loss and are grieving, it’s okay to not feel okay. Sending you lots of love and thank you for sharing your vulnerabilities xxx
When I lost my Dad who was the only person who really loved me unconditionally it was like the world was colder and darker without as much joy. I still try to find joy each day but life is so different without him he’s been gone for 5 years now
When he passed away it’s understandable, that you feel like you lost part of yourself ❤ You will feel whole again, just give your self time. Time heals xo
Please don't disregard your feelings or call yourself 'crazy' for feeling any sort of way, in particular about your Dad. Just you acknowledging the feeling has probably validated hundreds of others having the same feelings, myself included.
Hey beautiful I def didn’t mean I was crazy for feeling that way I more so was struggling to put it into words and felt like the way I tried to describe it didn’t make sense ❤️
I totally get what you meant 😊 … but you need to know that you sharing is helping others (I just lost my own Dad) without you probably realising it. And you should never invalidate your own feelings or brush them off as they are important. Thank you for sharing about your grief. It’s hard. But you are helping others by talking about it. 🫶
I don’t think you’re crazy at all. My sister passed almost 5 years ago and I haven’t been the same since. It’s a very unconscious thing. I cried when you shared about your dad. Loss is so hard ❤
@@colleenspinner3361 aww sorry! Basically long story short the building game isn't what people think, since covid we've even lost money on jobs that take a year to complete, it was not making him happy anymore working with clients so I told him he didn't have to work anymore and he can work for me, I need as much help as I can get haha
Hi Steph! Thanks for another great video.❤ Don't be too hard on yourself. You have a lot going on with your business and the new house. Just think of it as a temporary and transitional stage in your life. Once the new staff members settle into their roles and you have moved into your new home, life will be more peaceful.
What I like about you and your family, whether it's a good or bad day, u are all honest about it. Love your value's.
Awww thankyou 🥰🥰
Just came to the comments to look for an offended Jessica 👀🤣

Don't be so hard on yourself, sweety, you are still grieving, and it is perfectly ok.
Thankyou beautiful 🥹
