Q: In the video subtitles, what do you mean by "DAY abc=Z Z=x2"?
A: It's quite a task to explain but really you'll get the hang of it once you get it down. The opponent will show up any day with whatever you multiply in the b and c value:
STEP 1:
a being the hundredths in that day. You can be past the 900th day and it will still work. No need to do any math in this value, it's there to imply that doing math in the hundredths is irrelevant.
b being the tenths of that day, such as DAY 10, 20, 30 ... 70, 80, 90.
c being the ones of that day, such as DAY 1, 2, 3 ... 7, 8, 9.
STEP 2:
Multiply a and b and you will get the answer Z. x can be any number in the tenths or hundredths place for all we care.
So if it says abc=Z Z=x2, whatever you multiply, make sure the Z ends in as a 2.
If it says abc=Z Z=x3, whatever you multiply, make sure the Z ends in as a 3.
If it says abc=Z Z=x4, whatever you multiply, make sure the Z ends in as a 4.

The race against Devil Z was too funny and not climatic. Appears out of nowhere, but that insane speed turns out screwing himself over. It's a smart move to pick an area where he couldn't use his insane acceleration to his advantage and ridiculous oversteer to yours.

This game has so many cool and funny looking cars. Jintei's R34 looks fantastic, the Blood Hound's Lexus looks like a DTM car, and then there's Street Gambler in his sawed off Nissan Cube.
Take a closer look on Street Gambler's rear quarter panel decal. What an ultimate Chad! It's funny how Genki sneaked that and still got the game an E for Everyone rating.

Love this game for life. Realising the wandererss requirements as a kid was such a pain, the drivers bio was still so obscure to me. LONE MONSTER from Unlimited was my favorite racer of the bunch, and he was only the #2 driver of the team.
Easiest way to get a very powerful car at the start was to find Anguish Barbarian on day 14 parked on the Yaesu and basically blocking him - not easy to handle 500hp at the beginning.
for me i just cruised around and raced against opponents when the opportunity came. it was a great game to just have fun. winning did matter but didnt matter as much to me as with other games

The way the game alerts you before going left or right, the attention to the blinkers and the flashing of headlights was ahead of its time, plus the sneezing of the turbos haha, a game that got the sounds right at the time 🤣

Dude😳. This game is no joke. Most immersive I've felt since Togue racing in racecar driver grid. always told my teacher im never gonna need math in real life. Then Txr comes out and i gotta be einstein all of a damn sudden.
this game needs to be remastered and available to all consoles if possible. and deserve more well deserved attention. no other game comes close to it.even saved the memory card for it to this day its the only reason why i even bothered saving a memory card.

One of my favorite games on PS2, never got to 100% because back then it wasn’t clear what the requirements were to challenge some of the racers and I missed the timing of challenging other racers. I wish someone would make a new TXR game.
there is. there is a huge mod on asseto corsa for pc called the shutoku revival project. same exact track down to where you know the whole thing if you were used to it. and modern day cars eith graphics and vr lol

My time with this game was short, but I was nearly able to beat it after having defeated Speed King and White Charisma, with only the wanderers left. Was playing TXR Zero on an emulator (XBSX2 on Xbox Series X) before Microsoft killed off retail emulation.

Beating Dejected Angel: unlocks the East side
Beating Iron Heart: unlocks the South side
Dejected Angel and Iron Heart automatically show up as you win races. You will unlock the full map at about 1/3rd completion.

Barely. Just mostly upgraded whatever makes the car go faster. No excess weight loss with the car either as in the back seats for that car are still intact.

also with the s30z I didn't run any front aero, just rear spoiler and it would not turn! then I put level 7? aero front bumper and reduced hood weight and bam it oversteers like crazy!!
If you're running no front aero, seems only having high ride hieght in front and low in rear kind of fixed some of the turning, somehow. Looks like aero model affects grip levels a lot!~ Nice to see aero isn't just cosmetic like in most games! they tried to make it more realisitcs.
now I run level 3 front aero on s30 or less and it handles way more normal and stable!!! Must see if changing to little or no front aero can make the viper GTS handle better!!!
