Very Cool, Thankyou Jonny. I Enjoy these 'History' videos you do Jonny, visiting iconic 'Music' Locations and highlighting Guitar legends. SO Awesome. ( Deniz Tek - Radio Birdman Guitarist .... 'Budget Guitar Show style' .... Yes Please, lol. Amazing Story, true champion, "High energy Rock-Band (punk?? (No)) guitarist, Emergency Room Doctor at 2 Hospitals, ex US Navy 'Top Gun' Flight Surgeon, Family Man and Much More, in his 70's now .... Still performing... AWESOME. All The Best. Cheers
Very nice amigo! I've seen McGeoch's stock rise really over the last 25 years. Before then he was one of those players "if you know, you know." It's too bad his fame came much later than when he was playing live.
Johnny you should do more of these appraisal/appreciation videos you obviously have a deep knowledge of the subjects ( as well as being a noisy bugger! 😂) btw there's A good interview with Mr Lydon on " a word in your ear" I know you've got the hump with him but it's a good listen mate!
I must disagree with your "unsung" description That man influenced many and opened the eyes of numerous established players while he simply lit up the Banshees Recollections, of course, may vary, but that's My take on the man.

an actual guitar hero of mine
I'll never forget seeing him with the Banshees in Belfast back in 1980...with his flanger attached halfway up his mic stand🤯
Saw him with PIL many times in the late 80s and 90s. Blew me away every time

The use of UNSUNG is because he SHOULD be regarded like Hendrix or Clapton, but isn't.
