Im 62 and study Gods word daily and have for years. Im in in Psalm 77 and it says it all of how I feel and have now for many years. I feel abandon by God but I know its not true at least. I live in misery, suffering and great sorrow. I just want to die and be home with the Lord.
I have had health problems all my life and I am thankful to God who was with me and helped me through it. I know others that have been far worse and are still serving God. There are many reasons we suffer but God may be using you to witness to others. If God did not have something He wants you to do He would have already taken you home. Be patient, serve God, and understand that God will never abandon those that are His. Looking at the end times the rapture can't be too far off.
