can i remove that status column on the left of the form? you don't see that in the design view of the form, but when you are in the form view you will see that vertical black line from top to bottom.

Really like this tutorial -- Two suggestions: Would like it if you zoomed in more when talking about a certain area. Everything is so small it's too hard to see. Also, captioning would be helpful. I also have a comment: I always hide my ID field by making the field, border and text the same color as my background. I don't see that it's necessary for my users to see this field.

Last exercise is too much of a rush, so many tasks given in such a short time I don't really know what I'm supposed to be producing.

I have a tabular form where there is a column called ABScore which has 5 rows each row against each row, which means there are 5 records under ABScore Col. Now I want to row number 1 will loop through other 9 records and compare with other rows. If row number 1 carries highest value, then it will put 1 to the column next to it since it secured highest point. Similarly, the second row will compare value with other 4 rows i. e. Rows 1, 3, 4 and 5 and make appropriate ranking against it's corresponding rank row. But I don't know the way how to do it. I'm from India where scope to learn is very small. Therefore request you to please make a tutorial on updating records by looping. Thnx and regards.

Thank you so much for the video. I have a question. I use my access database daily, but today when I close my form that has subforms, I get the message "No current record". I don't know what has happened, it was not doing till yesterday.
The first form has 2 subform. I used to get two of the message "No Current Record". when I deleted the first subform, I only got one message but when I deleted the second one, I did not get none.
I have been working with database for 15 years, I never got this message until yesterday. one more thing, I also get it when I hit add new record. did microsoft access change the coding? Will you please, help solve this problem? Thanks in advance

Another comment: On the subforms part 2 it looked like she was going to explain how to use one form for two functions; 1) to add/edit and 2) to display for users. It's confusing because she just modifies the subform to be viewed by users, but then how would the staff edit it if it's the same form? Very confusing.

Sorry, we've noticed that the link sometimes doesn't load recently but one workaround that I found helpful was to open the download link in a new private/incognito browser. Hope that helps!

I found that I could not download them directly, but if you save them to a dropbox account first, you can then download them from the account.
