This is a civil trial. The laws are not as stringent as a criminal trial. At any rate regardless of the trial type the judge can restrict your response based on the questions asked. Yes or no questions are preferred due to the layout of the court.
And to be judged by a jury of your peers.. but that's not being allowed either..

If you're an individual, yes. But a business organization/corporation/entity is saddled with accounting standards (google GAAP) that must be adhered to by state laws. Victimless crimes? Maybe. But violating New York states laws are crimes nonetheless.

My attorney once said “you can’t buy justice” that’s when I realized I should’ve went with a public defender .
You should have gotten a real attorney.
If you have enough money you can buy justice but if you are not wealthy and spend every nickle you can spend or borrow you will get the same result as if you used a public defender. Some of them are corrupt. People would be better off representing themselves unless they are wealthy. Judges can be bought and juries hand picked for guilty verdicts. There is no real justice in America.

We need better rules for political candidates. No one over 65 can run for public office. There. I just fixed the country’s problem.
Requirements: You cannot run if you have been convicted of a crime, You must pass a competency test, You must know government policies and foreign government policies, You must understand the three branches of government and their function, You cannot become president if you are in jail, you cannot become president if you have incited a mob to do harm to the U.S. As president, you must follow the US constitution and keep citizens safe from foreign or domestic enemies. These are just some of the would be requirements.

The courtroom is not a place for a monologue. There are procedures as to how courts operate.
During September in NYC alone there were 31 murders, 120 rapes, 1419 robberies, 2354 felony assaults, 1057 burglaries, 4155 grand larcenies, and 1439 stolen vehicles. Knowing that, this attorney general decides to spend millions of dollars and thousands of manhours on a victimless crime in a civil suit which will do nothing to make the citizens of her state or their property any safer.

Incorrect. If the judge says "Answer the question" and you start rambling about some political talking point, the judge does not need to allow that.
But the thing is all the all these judges in the various cases all they do is guarantee an appeal to a higher court, which will almost certainly overturn any decision that they’ve made
