  • The golden years of the Ottoman Empire come to life in a television series. The life of Suleiman the Magnificent is preparing to be a guest in your homes in all its glory. Get ready to experience the era with ambition, loves, wars and all the struggle.
Prince Solomon, with his closest man, Ibrahim Pargam Ibrahim receives the bad news in a hunt. His father Yavuz Sultan Selim Khan passed away. Prince Suleyman sets out for Istanbul without waiting. Prince Süleyman quickly reaches the capital. He attends the culus ceremony without waiting. His life changed in one day. He started his life as Sultan Süleyman.
Meanwhile, a galley loaded with slaves coming over the Black Sea is heading towards Istanbul. The hottest of the slaves is not yet aware that he is on a journey that will change his destiny. He is rebelling helplessly to return.
Sultan Süleyman wants to show what kind of sultan he is by the commands he gave on the first day of his sultanate. But not everyone will like these decisions. Sultan Süleyman does not hesitate to challenge all of Europe with the messages he sends.
Alex, despite all his rebellion, is brought to the Topkapi palace. His attitude attracted the attention of Valide Sultan from the first moment. But it won't be long before Alex learns the rules of the palace. He chooses a great target. Alex, Sultan Suleyman's first night on the way to attract his attention. Sultan Suleiman's wife Mahidevran just arrived from the palace of Manisa. He is looking forward to seeing his wife.
Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. Kendisine büyük bir hedef seçer. Alex, Sultan Süleyman’ın karşısına çıktığı ilk gecede onun ilgisini çekmeyi başarır. Sultan Süleyman’ın eşi Mahidevran ise Manisa sarayından yeni gelmiş. Eşi ile görüşmeyi sabırsızlıkla beklemektedir.

this is one of the few times i feel bad for Ibrahim but... i feel for him here a little bit. he is trying to show them his heritage and culture and he really wished to be accepted, this part of him, by his new family. but those were not the times...Ibrahim got a bit too confident after marrying Hatice, he thought Suleymsn accepted him in his family, but there were still rules and positions, traditions to respect...this is one of the first time where he is shown not to be fully accepted and a bit stepping over the line

Thats not really the point, They dont like it because its European. Back then, Europe was all about God and The Catholic Chruch, who werent on great terms with the Ottomans. Not only that but Ibrahim was a converted muslim. Him having his home like this could show a shake in his belief in Allah, and people might think that he prays to other gods besides Allah, which is a big no-no back then.

@@prettyinpink9698 No, it's not. Selim I mother is not an European
Born in Amasya around 1470, Selim was the youngest son of Şehzade Bayezid (later Bayezid II). His mother was Gülbahar Hatun, a Turkish princess from the Dulkadir State centered around Elbistan in Maraş; her father was Alaüddevle Bozkurt Bey, the eleventh ruler of the Dulkadirs.[6][7] Some academics state that Selim's mother was a lady named Gülbahar,[8] while chronological analysis suggests that his biological mother's name could also have been Ayşe Hatun.[

Forget that he's endangering the lives of her and her children here, but it obvious Hurrem is safe, sound, happily living with the father of her two children.
The decent thing to do would be to leave to not upend her happiness.

I don’t even think there are true Turkish descents left after generations of mixing and keeping harem . What does it matter if you eat on tables or floor? The dining table is nice mahogany wood . And Suleiman complaining about the decor while reading the exploits Ancient Greek deities is laughable. And Valide consulting palm readers & witches bunch of dramatic folks .
