Ahmet did not save her ...it was Iskender .he slated those men single handedly. If Kosem did not call out to him he would have destroyed everyone and he still fought them even though he was wounded. In my opinion Iskender was the most loyal and bravest of all
When he got to know that he is prince, his whole attitude changed, he wanted to kill kosem and all her children.

Iskender falls in love at the wrong place and wrong time for the heart of his love(Anastacia prior to becoming Kosem)was already smitten by a Sultan Ahmed!Poor Iskender.They're not meant for each other but good that he always tries to protect her.
Good that Kosem is showing care to Sultan Ahmed safety and accepting the fact that the Sultan she's in love with has women and sons in the Harem aside from her.Her love for him is a well thought and shown to him in every aspect of their lives.

Iskender did saved Kosem, he fought single handedly because he loves Kosem. Ahmed came later. Besides Iskender looks more of a Prince and a Sultan than Ahmed, he is a handsome man and a strong guy.

It was Iskender who saved Kosem n who truly loved her...not even Ahmed loved her that much ... Kosem was his requirement for mental peace he was obsessed but not loved her.
Ahmed did love kosem she's his only haseki and consort, other concubines are just hatum, while only kosem was bestowed the title sultana even before having a heir prince/son, that's how Ahmed valued and loved her, he even send mahfiruze to old palace bcoz she upsets kosem !

Ahmet only loved one women in his whole life and she was kosem he was king so he had to live with other concubine for his generation and it was also the rule in ottoman empire

In my humble opinion, suleiman did love hurrem but he had his family always superior than hurrem like valide sultan, hatice sultan and his other sisters! But Ahmed loved kosem and his mother handan sultan equally..He even fought with his mother for her!

This story line reminds me of Queen Elizabeth I, & Raleigh I believe a supposedly a love story, the Queen had to have Raleigh executed in the end to appease the Spanish king, In this story Iskender has to be killed because of his love for Kosem.

Raleigh was executed by James I and not by Elizabeth I. Raleigh was executed in 1618AD while Elizabeth died in 1603AD

Great movie, nice scenery and and picture costumes etc.
However, it’s so untrue to the real history things are twisted they use only few true parts that they copied pasted in certain time points. That was convenient for the movie to have audience numbers.
That is not hundred percent true how things happen in real life in real history

I liked kosem only in the beginning of the movie not so good in the end of the movie as they presented her in real history not as evil as depicted in this movie but she did also followed evil traditions for power and vanity
