New what if idea: What if Goku controlled great ape in original DB?
Then he wouldn't kill Gohan and would probably use Ikari in place of Kaio-Ken until he unlocks Super Saiyan on Namek. Then the series might get SSJ4 in the future but I honestly don't really see much changing from the original.

Day 1 of asking Salad "What if Android 17 joined the Z-fighters after the cell saga?" basically him taking on a more active role in DBZ and then Super (he joins the world martial arts tournament with Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo and the rest), then helps them deal with Dabura, Babidi and Buu, then onwards to Super. Would be interesting to see how he changes the story, not to mention it could add a nice respectful rivalry between him and Piccolo as they motivate each other to get stronger
What if martial arts mattered? A scenario where weak characters can beat strong characters

Which is wild since he tends to have Cell show up later and be stronger then he normally tends to be. Almost every what if has Cell showing up, so this is a breath of fresh air.
KO I hope you do something different in the Battle of Gods Saga like Vegeta getting to become the Super Saiyan God because I feel like Goku had the spotlight enough. Also hope Vegeta get the “My Bulma!” power boost.
Due to more Saiyans, if the ritual is used, it can be more than one who gets it this time. I could see both Goku and Vegeta getting it, and it became a tag team against Beerus possibly.

Smugstick did that one I'm pretty sure, Masakox also did another version with Caulifla being Goku's daughter instead of Gohan. Still waiting for that one to continue.
@@King_Limitless personally I don't think it's lame but it isn't very original surprisingly. There could be more unique ideas, that's for sure.
Perhaps due to no casualty and seeing the power of Goku. Shin realizes he needs to train himself up more than resting on the level he is. So Perhaps Shin decides to invite Goku and later others to the World of Kais as a thanks for defeating Majin Buu.
Goku and others can learn a bit of Kai techniques and possibly the Z-Sword situation, and Shin learns from Goku to get stronger as a Supreme Kai as well for Kibito. Mind not long after Beerus wakes up as usual and perhaps slightly sooner.
This is why I wanted the Ginyu Force on Earth. Cell with Ginyu Force DNA would have gave this Goku a tough Battle.
With goku having proper Ki control over SSJ3, are we going to perhaps see a blue SSJ3
Damn both Cell and Buu were delt quickly and that’s because Goku managed to unlock super Sayian 3 years before the cell saga.
He also gained somewhat control of super Sayian 3 meaning he delt with Cell and Buu pretty easily.
Going to be pretty interesting to see how you do battle of gods in this scenario man good video

Hey Salad since it's been 4 years since you did What if Gohan kept training after buu, we didn't know about Beast at the time, I think it'd be cool if you did a redux of that what if where he uses Beast earlier on
Goku trains with shin before beerus? That'd be a great twist for this story, plus I just enjoy seeing it happen. 😊

Well since buu is dead that means no uub This also means no BOG or it could still happen just now beerus won't be holding earth at gunpoint due to the fact that buu isn't there to hog all the pudding which means most likely we won't get SSG but they will have beerus as their friend now either that or the saiyans ask to train with beerus after the party

I wonder if this will be one of the few what ifs where Gohan doesn't become the uber strongest thing to exist in his U7 cuz of his Hybrid Saiyan Potential because of how little involvement he has in the story and how he doesn't care about training to the same extent.

Honestly, would Goku even be able to get SS3 any stronger than it was in canon? Cuz the training with it would be significantly less efficient due to him being alive, and he wouldn’t be able to train non-stop for the same reason
The only problem I had is that 3 ssj2's had no chance against a single ssj3 and that they're so far behind even though they train together all the time.
And on top of all that, it seems vegeta has worse potential than in the original.
I thought that gohan would have been a super saiyan from young like goten did in the original story because of goku being 1 from young

Welp Cell wasn't a problem, although does help he only he only absorbed 18, but man Majin Buu didn't last one here. Plus, Goku was able to handle a Majin Vegeta, Raditz, and Nappa altogether. 😆 Maybe between the combination of the influence of Videl and after seen the threat of Majin Buu right in front of him it leads towards Gohan uping his training under Piccolo's guidances with Videl joining in. 👍 Anyways another good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.

Goku is either gonna get blue evolution, ssjb2 and ssjb3 or a mix of both. SSBE2 and SSBE3. Ngl going down the ultra instinct path again is kinda boring. Goku might also discover ssj4 but it's unlikely.

I do have to admit, it's tiring to see what ifs where nothing ever gets made beyond SSJ3. There's absolutely something further, and both GT and Super failed to accomplish anything. A form with massive stamina drain as its primary weakness HAS to have an ascension. It's crying out in the exact same way that Grade 3 SSJ1 did back in the Cell Saga. It's very likely that there are countless levels that eventually reach some peak, with that peak never being reached in a normal scenario. It wouldn't even surprise me if there was a Super Saiyan with the base form hairstyle.

ik this may seem dumb but here me out. what if kakarot and goku were twins like goku would be called turles and be the one who falls out and hits his head. but since they close in power kakarot wouldnt really be able to take over anything + everyone else who is stronger than goku at that time

It was nice to see Raditz and Nappa doing more things here. How do they get along with Gohan and Chi-Chi? Wasn't expecting Cell and Majinn Buu to be death with in the same video. Under 15 minutes too no less.
It would have been better if all the saiyans were bachelors and only Goku was married/had a family. Separates him from them. Honestly future vegeta being married to bulma has added nothing here. She could have stayed with Yamcha and the exact same results could happen here. Krillin and 18 just feels tacked on too. It's a what if. Go somewhere with it or explain the pairings better than "just cause" they're the canon ship.
