I’ve been eyeing these for awhile now and wanted the helix 4x but found a good deal on the s2 that was basically brand new! From all my research(online) Baja is one of the(if not the best) out there! Safe to say after shreddin a few times today this board didn’t disappoint! I’ll be posting some insta 360 videos and drone videos riding this soon!
Glad I ran into you guys while searching for a serious upgrade to my esk8. While the likes of Lacroix and Kaly are great in their own ways, what I like about Bajaboard is your different approach to your boards. Your chassis (not truck) design are so similar to cars. Despite some of earlier reports of structural reliability issues, I am glad to see you continue to tweak the principally sound design. This why the German cars continue to outperform in the areas of engineering than their US and Japanese counter parts. Love to see lighter, stronger, and more efficiently design parts in the future. I think you guys should tap into the upgrade/aftermarket by offering parts that are made of higher grade materials such as Grade 5 Titanium, AL alloy 7075, carbon fibers, etc. Lastly, it would be great to see you guys moves into simpler/smaller/more reliable remote and move the setting and adjustment to phone based apps. Keep up the great work guys!
Our goal is to never stop innovating and looking for a different approach despite sometimes it takes months to test each part thoroughly. Now that we are very confident in the Atrax chassis and production already started, we will start looking for accessories and upgrades for these boards too! More videos will come about this topic!
I was saving for the lacroix lonestar gear drive model! I never considered Baja because of the belt system. FINALLY you guys gave us a gear drive!!!!!! It is also reasonable priced. I ride on the street only, and mostly flat surfaces (Texas), but I want the increased safety that shock absorbers give me. This board just went to the top of my list! Please make some range videos with heavier guys, I am 185 pounds and 6 feet tall. Thank you.
Got my S2 last summer and I have been more than pleased with the quality and performance! I am without question going to upgrade to ATRAX.. ..largely to do with the service after the sale, from Andy. The rear light upgrade requires a new motherboard to be ordered as well. Will soldering be required? Only reason I haven’t placed upgrade order is no one seems to know. You guys rule! PS please start selling merch on the site! NEED a Bajaboard shirt!
We have just got stock for hoodies, t-shirts, benie and hats! We are going to add them to the store soon or if you can't wait send us an email to info@bajaboard.com.au
I forgot to mention that you don't need to replace the motherboard inside. We found a way to keep using the existing motherboard so you just the new front and rear lights.
@@BajaBoard Fantastic news. PLEASE NEVER STOP innovating these boards and continuing to make it better and better. So pumped to see what you guys cook up next!
what i want to know is does the board have to roll on air filled wheels? solid wheels are fine and also .. where i live the puncture is sadly a very real thing. which wheels would fit the board from aftermarket?
Awesome board...well done. My question would be is how often would you need to do maintenance on the gear drive? After how many klms? And would I have to dismantle it?
We recommend to change the grease once a year or every 2000km just give a quick check inside the gearbox. Next video will be about the gear drive. Nice bike 🏍
@@BajaBoard thank you for taking time to reply. I appreciate it and its great there's not too much maintenance. Love it and can't wait to put in my order. Thanks for the compliment on the bike too mate.
Alessandro, great video but it got me to realize something very important. There’s no video or image of the S2 ATRAX with the 10S10P (18000Wh) batteries on your website or anywhere at all. I ordered (Invoice #3080) that model already without realizing that I don’t even know what the board will look like with that battery protruding on the deck like you mentioned. Will it be dust and water resistant with that design? Can I damage the batteries from there? Can we (I) see what that board will look like and if it will feel/ride differently?? I think, It’s a marketing failure that the best ATRAX can’t be seen online at this time. Sorry to point this out but I’m a fan and a paying customer.
Hi, Thank you for your order! We have a side view picture of the extra enclosure on our website: bit.ly/3cjuARN We are making the final mold for it and as soon as we get it we will make a dedicated video. It will have a gasket around it and unless you decide to jump with all your weight on top of that enclosure you won't be able to damage the battery.
I really like the ATRAX design :) Awesome build :). Sir are the batteries welded with nickel kind ? or any plans to implement a battery like Trampa since Baja's design seem to have ample space for batteries underneath the deck :) Thanks :)
Trampa battery system is extremely cool. If you could get a baja frame then it would be easy to slap the battery case on there even includes esc mounting haha.
Hey Anthony, unfortunately it's not possible to fit the gear drive to the G4X. Would you be able to resend email to info@bajaboard.com.au? We've had some IT issues with our hello@ email address. Sorry for the hassle.
@@BajaBoard ahhhh I've been sending emails to the hello@bajaboard address for over a year now. It's actually the address still advertised on the Bajaboard website. I forwarded the old email to the new info@bajaboard address in hopes of solving my issues. Thank you
We have a gasket around the chassis box and grommets for the motor wiring to prevent light rain/small puddles do enter the chassis box and damage the electronics. We also conformal coating all the electronics to add an extra level of prevention. So under light rain/small puddles, the board will be fine but we still recommend avoiding it if possible.
Dear CEO : is it possible to include 4 inch fat tire on 8 inch wheel? The 4 inch fat tires can ride on grass so much better - thank you ! Zhiqiang Sun from Memphis Tennessee 5/9/2021 Sunday

this was defiantly on my radar too, but i ended up going with the lacroix lonestar super sport
YES !!!!!!!!!
I'm getting a Ecombl ET for the street but this is my dream board for off road but very expensive.
How do we adjust camber on the new s2? I don’t have the same bolts as the old on so I can’t adjust the angle of my wheels.
Badass board for badass riders!

We never used solid tires on our boards but there are on the market some tires that should fit our rims for the 10"

How come you don’t have bindings for the board?
You can use aftermarket bindings and you can reuse the same screws attachment from the deck to the mainframe.

Nothing about these is bespoke. Why not slap a Bugatti sticker on a Dongfeng? That would be more bespoke than this.
