My husband's family left Heton Le Hole and immigrated to a mining town on the border of New York and Pennsylvania, USA called Morris Run. Great grandfather Matthew Atkinson, his wife Emma (Lewis) Atkinson left with their sons, the youngest being Clark Atkinson around 1888-1891. They had also lived in Chester le Street.
