Houghton le Spring from the air

Helicopter view of the Houghton town centre and the southern part of Houghton.
A town, which you can see from this bird's eye view, is divided by the A690 dual carriageway. The A690 links Durham to Sunderland as well as linking to the A182, also cutting through the town, which links Hetton and Houghton to Shiney Row roundabout at which point it becomes the Washington Highway.
