Tip. Only about 4 hours of any real darkness in the summer. Wear someone sort of eye covering to sleep better. Or pitch your tent so the sun is block from the east when rising so you're not blinded at 3am.

Depends how busy it gets. That track is 30 miles north of Ullapool (itself the last popular tourist spot going up the NW coast) so she could quite reasonably not expect to get a single piece of traffic during her stay.

Wild camping is not done beside a road or a historical building. 😡

Really...that video is verging on being completely irresponsible!! I’d like it if you went and asked the locals at that spot about what “wild camping” which is actually car camping and more often than not “dirty” camping, has done for that particular spot!! Talking about toileting whilst right next to a water source, superb!

The most important rule is to leave no trace, only leave behind the flattened grass where the tent was and your buried poo.
The second rule is if you see someone else camped leave them their space and walk on a little.

That's an archaeological site which probably has more human excrement in and around it now than the average sewage works thanks to irresponsible and badly informed promotion like this video. Go there in the summer and see utterly ignorant tourists driving 4x4's all over the grass there and LARPing as bear grylls taking stones off it to build campfire circles. Had the BBC asked a single local person from within about 50 miles of this site what the deal was... or even just had a cursory look at the SOAC plastered all over every single tourist information board, you'd have known better than to film or post this.
