- Diablo III Act 2: After Act I, the story of Diablo III takes the player across the Twin Seas to the Borderlands and then on to Caldeum, the capital city of the Empire of Kehjistan.
Shadows in the Desert - Maghda's coven terrorizes the Borderlands around the great city of Caldeum. Seek them out and exact your revenge.
The Road to Alcarnus - The Coven has blocked all roads to Alcarnus. Take the pass that leads through the Khasim Outpost.
City of Blood - Alcarnus has fallen to the Coven, its streets running red with the blood of its citizens. Kill Maghda and free the city.
A Royal Audience - Demons hide in plain sight under the guise of Caldeum's Imperial Guard. Show the emperor that he is surrounded by deceit and lies. Leah's mother Adria is alive, but she is being held in the sewers of Caldeum by agents of Belial. Rescue her.
Betrayer of the Horadrim - Retrieve the disembodied head of the dark Horadrim Zoltun Kulle to learn the secret of the Black Soulstone.
Blood and Sand - The blood of Zoltun Kulle is the key to opening the Shadow Realm where his body is hidden away. Find his blood that he may be resurrected.
The Black Soulstone - The Black Soulstone is the key to defeating the last two Lords of Hell. Resurrect Zoltun Kulle so that he will activate it.
The Scouring of Caldeum - Save the citizens of Caldeum from the wrath of Belial.
Lord of Lies - The demon lord Belial hides himself away inside the Emperor's Palace. Find him and kill him.

I actually recently got Diablo III from when I watched your full Act 1 video. It was a fun story, to be sure, so I wanted to play it myself, and I enjoyed the story very much. I've heard many people tell you in the comments that when you tell us the stories of Diablo games, it's like hearing them anew. To be fair, I never played Diablo 1 before watching you stuff and I never understood the plot of Diablo 2, so this will be an interesting series to watch. I can't wait to see what you make out the other acts.

While I chock this up to just bad writing, it could be argued that the only thing you WOULDN'T expect from the "lord of lies" is the truth. Still, should've sent us on wild goose chases for a few missions until we figured out we were getting played.

Problem is, genraly players dislike being sent on wild goose chases (unless the deception is plainly revealed and end up serving amjor plot purpose), it genraly frustrate them. I think another way to have handled this would have been to have Magd actuaky do this on purpose. She is a servant of the lord of lies so wouldit not make sense fir her to actually want to betray her master and use the hero for her own end ?
@@s.m.2523 I mean, we are fighting the lord of lies, you would expect a good plot would send you all over, everywhere except the right place.

The idea that the hero should have been led on a “wild goose chase” because Belial is the lord of lies is kinda of a juvenile. It wasn’t bad enough?
You should do this for ALL the WoW expansions / story i would love to see it and im sure many others would also
Thanks for making these vids! :) I didn’t wanna have to replay Diablo 3 again, for a story refresher. (Says a lot about how much less fun D3 is, compared to D1 and D2.)

If i ever finish diablo 2 and all my other 35ish games i never played/finished in my steam liberary, i eventually go play failablo 3 again ;)
I have only the original version of the Xbox360 D3 which has no crusader. I was scratching my head for a while wondering why I’ve never seen any of that gear or those spells before.
Maybe I’m not missing a lot since I’ve heard the original version is the best version.

you read in too much stuff making the narration stupid like "this weapon gives experience" there are things that are left out to make a good story. and never apply your own feelings to a story character. judging by how calm the crusader is hes not afraid of anything you menteioned somewhere that he felt fear and thats not believable
