- On Sept. 28, 2019, "Bangkok Ready" Khalil Rountree took on Ion "The Hulk" Cutelaba in a true clash of martial arts styles. Muay Thai was defeated by Combat Sambo/Wrestling in a true masterclass of a performance from Cutelaba. So I decided to make a cool little edit to commemorate the fight.

@@masrr3678 Cuz Yoel is fucking 42 years old. Ion is like what 26-27? His wrestling is legit plus he has faced bigger and tougher guys in his career unlike Paulo. Win or lose Ion isnt scared of a dog fight and faced much bigger punchers like Cannonier at LHW and didnt get finished. So idk what you on about Paulo is he strong? Yes but when a guy like Ion faces much bigger guys and competes well while Costa against smaller guys lowkey struggels sometimes that aint looking good. Plus Costa's fight IQ aint high, if Yoel can just say look there and Costa does that and gets knocked down, that aint looking good for his future.
While when Ion faced Rountree who was fucking massive, and he acknowledged he was a threat on the feet. So he took him down and made quick work.
@@MegaZack61 at MW Ion wouldn't be as durable, they'd stand and trade and both land good shots but Paulos pressure would gas Ion out by round two, he gassed in 1 round against old man Glover who was rocked for half the round and is no way near as deadly a striker as Costa. Ion is not champion calibre whereas Paulo is fighting for the belt

@@johnnyvibezzz6372 Those were sweeps/trips not takedowns, as they were along the fence. Roundtree he went to bangkok to specifically work on trips and sweeps aswell as his muay thai game overall. Cutelaba also has a legit muay thai game.
