Loved this video, very cozy and relaxing. You looking thru the pantone postcards reminded me when I used to work in graphic design and had to look the pantone cards for printing, so nostalgic 🥰
Thank you - it was a fun exercise for me, and I hope it is helpful for someone else who might be curious! I was very confused by background colours for both the Wallpaper and the Snake Toy weeks! I'd love to see a Snake Toy Weeks in person some day - I couldn't tell if it was closer to green or grey!
Can confirm a broken in weeks cover fits great on the mega! I used a regular weeks with plastic cover for a few years, and mine were pretty chunky at the end. Now I switched to the mega and tried on my very loved and used cover and it fits so nicely. Your haul was so nice, and the Pantone cards were such a great addition 💛
oh, that's a relief!! Thank you for confirming! 🥰 And I'm so glad you liked the Pantone cards addition! I enjoyed it, so I'm going to have to use them again in a future video. What are some of your 2025 thoughts in terms of planning and journalling? :)
I was SO thrilled to see someone else get the Mini Banana Hammer DX. Literally just opened up mine right before watching your video. Last year I let it slip me by and spent all day thinking about it lol
It’s so fun! 🍌🔨I was thinking about buying it in the Spring, but nothing else stood out to me so I (somewhat) patiently waited until this Fall release. This year, I missed out on the paper bag pencil holder.
Thank you! I feel really happy with how it turned out - bright and cheerful, which is going to keep me motivated for next year! I've been enjoying the haul videos as well, and I look forward to checking yours out on your channel!
I love that you include the Pantone cards to give a better idea about each of the colors used in those products! Great video, I really enjoyed your unboxing.
Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun picking the cards, despite not really being able to match them. I might try this in the future for fountain pen inks!
Yay! That's what I was hoping because it was really fun for me to do, and now I'm thinking about all the other things I can potentially colour-match! 😂
Yay! The banana hammer! :) How fun to match with Pantone and I think it’s a great palette you created. Like how you are re-using the TSL A5 cover for next year and not getting another cover, something I want to do too. It’s such a beautiful nude cover and will age so beautifully. I have the BK TSL Nunous cover and I think I will be re-using it for next year.
Thank you! I loved your unboxing and neutral palette as well! You were right about the Harvest Plaid being a good Weeks option! I'd love to try a fabric Weeks cover one; I'd prefer that to the glossy covers. That BK TSK Nunous cover is soooo pretty. I have yet to order from BK, but I would love to get their Travel for Life Wallet and a Truly Yours customization someday. 🥹
I think I can never get tired of these unboxings...lol. I purchased the A6 Techo English and the A5 Gingham again for 2025. Purchased 2 pencil boards, book band pencil case in black and the expensive items were the Herringbone and Potr A6 covers. I would like to purchase again but this time from Hobonichi because I would like the new blank notebooks and I would like an extra pencil case because I love it. Possibly thinking of getting a weeks for the first time.....still thinking. Loved your picks and thank you for sharing.
It sounds like you have a very pretty colour scheme going on for your purchases as well! 🖤🩶 I kind of wish I had picked up a book band pencil case for myself. I think the main draw for me would be if it fit my tombow markers.. maybe I'll have to check and add it to my list for next year if I still want it by then! Thank you for your kind words and being here! If you got a Weeks, which one are you thinking about and what would you use it for?
I got so excited at another video from you Alison, I found myself say, “I will watch any and every video you put out Alison, they are all great and interesting videos!!” Also one can never watch too many Hobonichi unboxings. I am planning to set up my weeks for meals and health and wellness (I will be combining into one Weeks) I have the same Yumi Kitagishi but I also loved the Pistachio and am so glad you got it as I can now appreciate visiting it in some of your 2025 videos. 😂🎉 I got myself the Crescent Moon Delivery Hon for daily journaling but I have been using the Cousin Avec pages this year so wondering if I will run out of space next year but there have been days where I have only filled half a page so I wanted to see how I go. I decided to use my Passport TN for work in 2025 but I did use the A6 weekly insert this year and made some journalling or coaching notes on the right page as I only work Mon-Wed. I found the grid too tiny so want to try my Passport since I have unused inserts from 2023. Thank you for another great video. 🙌🏾🫶🏽🙏🏽🎊
Thank you so much, Varsha! I always appreciate it when you drop by. 🥰 I LOVE the Crescent Moon Delivery HON - it's going to be so lovely to look at every day! Hopefully it'll strike a nice balance for you between the days you're writing more or less. Perhaps a memo book or a blank notebook could be another option in case you find out that you're really running out of space? As the year goes on, I would love to hear how you're finding your Passport TN! I love my passport TN, but I haven't been able to get as much use out of it except as a wallet, passport holder and an insert to collect stamps.
@@LittleCocoStudio I have a brown that I use as a wallet with a notebook to doodle in or make journaling notes when I have long waits at hospital appointments, because of my disability I need to use hospital transport which means waiting 2-4 hours before someone can take me home. It so nice having my Passport TN to escape in when I am frustrated about waiting and just want to lay down at home from an exhausting day. I will be using the Train Passport for work so will keep you posted. I mostly work remotely. I want to get out more but that is a dream that maybe I will make happen in 2025. I plan to use the TC weekly insert in the Passport but I won’t use the weekends, I will use one side for meetings and coaching appointments and the right page to reflex on my feelings during that week (so sort of like the regular insert setup). I will let you know how it goes.
Yay!!!! So excited you got your order!! I love all the Yumi Kitagishi stuff, it has so many fun things that you find something new each time you look at it. I can't believe you got the banana hammer!! Hahah I hope you love it, it seems so much fun to have it on your desk 😂
yes, I love her maximalist style so much! haha zero regrets on getting the banana hammer, and after testing it out, I actually DO think I might use it again for small nailing projects! 😆
This was such a joyful unboxing video! I'm so glad to see you've received your gorgeous items... and I got the same bonus notebook! I also bought the Yumi Kitagishi Beautiful Wallpaper Weeks with the pencil board (I couldn't resist buying all three sizes either) and will be following your example and using it as my health and wellness journal. I cannot wait to see how you experiment with your books this year. Thank you for always sharing your wonderful ideas with us! 🥰
Oh, that is so exciting!! About the Weeks, the pencil boards (aren't they gorgeous!?), and the cute little notebook! Have you decided how might use the freebie notebook? I'm 90% certain that I'll be dedicating my Beautiful Wallpaper weeks as my health and wellness tracker as well. If you have any suggestions as you're setting yours up, please feel free to share! 🥰
@@LittleCocoStudio I was thinking I’ll use my freebie notebook as an ink swatch journal. I don’t currently have one and it’s getting tricky recalling what inks I have in my collection and how they suit my pens. I think I could enlist one of my blank TN refills for the same purpose so I have the two papers to compare 🙂. Using your Pistachio cover for meal planning sounds like a great match too ☺️. I’m definitely looking forward to being more experimental with my books. I bought a spring start Cousin in April this year and was convinced that I’d love everything in one book but it ended up feeling messy and disorganised. I’ve learnt that I really won’t know what works until I try it, and stick to it, so I’m going to put less pressure on my books, and myself, next year.
@@helenaliu less pressure all around sounds great! The best set up is the one you’ll use. :) I love the idea of using it an an ink swatch book! I’ve been using one of my TNs as an ink and pen log, but I don’t have a book dedicated to ink swatches. I learned earlier this year that ink swatches fluff up the book a lot, so I’d rather use a thinner book that I won’t use for long form writing or planning as well.
I loved your idea with the Pantone postcards! that really helped to bring the color schemes out. Using the pencil board as an alternate cover choice was a really smart idea too. I loved the pattern on your two freebie notebooks too. The free pen reminds me of the 70s. I was thinking about looking at the Paddington Bear items. Watching everyone's unboxings has been fun even though I didn't order anything myself.
Thank you! It was really nice to see them all laid out at the end as well. I was worried it might be a bit chaotic because I decided to go for things I liked, rather than things that matched. But in the end, I think it all worked out :D I really liked the Paddington Bear items, too. I've enjoyed watching other people unbox them, and I think they'll be so fun to use - especially the stationery items!
ahhh, it's such a pretty colour! What are some other ones you're considering as well? I feel like you can't go wrong with Hobonichi (or the growing number of non-Hobonichi options out there!)
@@LittleCocoStudio well i already placed my order for this year & im getting the moomin weeks! i dont usually do too many planners at a time but the a6 covers were so tempting i also considered the mother weeks but maybe next year
@@jiuuren oh my gosh, you got the moomin one!! I wish those were easier to get. They’re so pretty and I like how they designed the inner covers as well! 😍
That's so funny! I got the Mega Pistachio weeks for my food/meal tracker, and I'll be using the Yumi Kitagishi Weeks as my health tracker! I need more room for meal tracking... but also the Pistachio colour feels so on theme 😂 As for the Yumi Kitagishi, that cover makes me smile every time I see it... and that's exactly what I need for a health tracker (: I also repurchased A5 Cousin Avecs, 'cause even at 6 months my journals are PACKED and FLUFFY (to put it mildly, haha). That's my daily journal + memory keeper. I use an A6 Planner Book for what I call my "Inspo Hobo" where I do a doodle or mini painting (really: mark-making) every day. I haven't been consistent with it this year, but I'd still rather have it than not because when I do bring it with me, it's a FANTASTIC sketchbook!
P.S. Loved your idea to put a pencil board as a cover for the weeks! I'm also considering buying a cover on cover for my Pistachio Mega, so good to know that the plastic needs to loosen up to fit it properly. I wonder if heating it up with a hair dryer would help stretch it out?
Yes, you're so right - the Pistachio cover does feel on theme as a meal tracker! I was originally thinking the Sushi cover would be perfect for it, but I preferred the Pistachio cover to that one. It sounds like we'll be planning and tracking in matching Weeks next year!! :D I have to be honest - the idea of journalling and memory keeping in a Cousin is SO tempting. I love seeing fluffy books and it must be so satisfying to flip through a completed book full of memories. I'm still planning on using my Cousin as a study / work book, but gah - the temptation is there! Also - yes! I was thinking a hair dryer could work. It might be a better approach than sticking a bunch of heavy books on it, especially since it'll be winter ❄️ by the time I try it....
@LittleCocoStudio it is very pretty haha. I haven't received my order yet I'm excited but nervous that I won't like it. I tend to overtime when using a planner or looking to journal. Gonna try to remain optimistic.
Omg yayyy!! Excited to watch your unboxing 😊 I love your weeks/pencil board pairings. They looked so good when you laid them out at the end ❤❤ wonderful picks! Thanks for sharing :)
Thank you! It was really neat to see them all together in-person after playing around with images. I loved all of your picks as well, and I look forward to seeing how you use them next year! 😍
That was such a neat video! I loved my A6 ONE PIECE 2024 planner, but I decided not to get one for 2025 (I didn’t like the pattern that much). I got an A5 Cousin instead, plus the tiles-and-flowers pattern Unsōdō cover I fell absolutely in love with! 🎉
huh! that’s so funky the eraser didn’t work! can confirm i have an eraser that works on my other deco rush tapes (though it does take a little bit of rubbing)!
The items you purchased are so great! I especially love the notebooks with the cats peeking around the corner. And, how nice of you to buy things for gifting (I’d have a hard time parting with anything). 😊 I’ve never seen any of your videos before, so please forgive me if you've already mentioned this and I missed it somewhere else… But, may I ask why you show the color cards and try and match it with some of the things? Thanks for such a nice video!
Thank you!! Those cat notebooks are so cute, right? I love this artist's illustration style as well (I was in love with the cats floating on bread cover and I hope someday it reappears as a print or a pencil board!). As for the colour cards, I included them in the video because the postcards are somewhat standardized, and I was hoping it might help provide more context for people who were curious about the colours. It was also a really fun exercise for myself to do, and very satisfying to see everything together with the colours! 😊
Thank you! It was a lot of fun, although I'm kind of surprised at how difficult it was to find a matching colour! I wonder if it might have been easier if I had the full colour palette to choose from. If you chose a Weeks this year, which one was it?
@@LittleCocoStudio I grabbed an English version of Through the Purple Night. It was my favorite colors and had a cat, mushroom and snails which was too much for me to pass up. I definitely appreciated the color matching even if it wasn't exact. ❤️
This year's Mega is a smidge thicker than last year's. The stencils I use the most are the long yellow one and the green one. I got the Weeks Mega in Lemon Water.
Oh, that’s interesting that it’s a bit thicker. I wonder what the difference from last year could be? This is my first time using a Mega. The Lemon Water is a great choice! 😍🍋
I did an unboxing of my hobonichi weeks I got it from Andersonpens and I had no problems and it went from their office to my house in 3 days which was amazing highly recommend
Wow, three days is so fast! Thank you for the recommendation! I'm in Canada, so that might add to shipping fees/timing, but it's good to know that they were able to fulfill the order so quickly! 🤩
I just dont get that green weeks, every single hobonichi unboxing I've seen so far has included that week's, ive just never been a fan of green so I've been very surprised by it. I really love all the others you unboxed though! 😆
Thank you! Going with the green weeks surprised me, too! They introduced so many wonderful designs this year that it was overwhelming to narrow things down! If you’re using Hobonichi next year, what did you end up choosing? 😊
@LittleCocoStudio i totally get that, I love hobonichi but until they include a horizontal weekly to the original i just can't make it work for me, i use a grid notebook (nanami cafe note) that has 380 pages and I basically create my own hobonichi A6 with the addition of a weekly. It ends up being a hybrid of bullet journalling and a hobonichi layout. Even though I haven't used one in quite a few years I still love seeing everyone get their orders every year, living vicariously through you guys ❤️ 💙 ♥️!
nooooo! That's too bad. I hope you can get it next year! I was tempted to buy it in the Spring, but nothing in that release called out to me, so I decided to hold off until the Fall. If I were more patient, I would have saved it for a holiday gift, but that's..... so far away.... 😆
The notebooks could be either original or Sanzen Tomoe River paper. As of this year, Hobonichi is calling both versions of tomoe river paper the same. I bought my notebooks before this change, but if you test your notebooks, you might luck out and get original tomoe river paper.
I was wondering that as well! I was kind of hoping that the Tomitaro Makino notebooks might have been made before the Sanzen TR paper roll-out. Since the Keiko Shibata came out Spring 2024, I was assuming it was Sanzen. I'm look forward to experimenting with them when I start using them!
@@bootsmama1027 oh, really!! That’s exciting! I assumed they were sanzen. I regret not getting more last year when I made my order, but I hit the top end of my budget after adding everything else to my cart, so I thought I’d wait a bit. There are a few local stores here that stock them, but they are more than double the price per notebook!
Beautiful haul! I think your pencil board and Weeks pairings are lovely! I wish I would have gotten that Unsodo pencil board, that’s so lovely! I have my haul on my channel, if you’d like to check it out 😊
@@LittleCocoStudio yeah, it was a square brown box with a small blue Hobo box inside. I changed books - went day free. So I'm still adjusting (second guessing). I love that I got the kitty pouch from last year - I figured if it was still there it was meant to be. I also got the smaller Stappo. I wish it were wider, the weeks fits at an angle & is taller, I did not check the measurements, but I had hoped it would fit... Oh well. That was just the kicker to buy it. I wanted it because I wanted it. It will hold pens nicely.
@@AvivaHadas oh, that’s surprising that the smaller stappo doesn’t fit the Weeks unless it’s at an angle. I assumed it was mainly designed for that one! I’ve been very intrigued by the day-free and could see myself using it some day. It’ll be a good experiment to see how you like it!
I agree! Typically, I’m instantly drawn to the brightest designs, and then I usually end up choosing something a bit more neutral. The wallpaper one will be interesting. I think I’ll like it for the whole year, and it’ll be interesting to see how I feel this time next year!

Thank you for stopping by! That tiles and flower pattern is so beautiful! It’s even nicer in person compared to the photos! Great choice! 🤩
huh! that’s so funky the eraser didn’t work! can confirm i have an eraser that works on my other deco rush tapes (though it does take a little bit of rubbing)!
Your comment inspired me to try again -- thank you! It DID work.
I got the cherry snow globe weeks, a cousin and a Denali pencil board. Thanks for sharing your choices. Very nice.
Such great choices!! 🌸❄️🐘🐈🏔️ I love that Hiroko Kubota drew that cover specifically for the Weeks!
@@LittleCocoStudio I love Hiroko Kubota’s art. I got the seashell cover last year.
THE PANTONE POSTCARDS THAT WAS SO GREAT
Thank you!!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the colour comparisons! 🥰
I love that you did color match with the pantone cards. Really look back after all these unboxing videos ane wish I looked more at the wallpaper weeks
@@MandaPandaPlans you chose well! 😍 It’s so cool that it comes with a pencil board as well!
So excited to watch this now.
thank you! I hope you enjoy it! ☺️
So excited❤❤❤
thank you! me too! 🥰
omg! I wanted the banana hammer for my husband! it sold out before I could buy it 😭 Til next year, bronze banana....
nooooo! That's too bad. I hope you can get it next year! I was tempted to buy it in the Spring, but nothing in that release called out to me, so I decided to hold off until the Fall. If I were more patient, I would have saved it for a holiday gift, but that's..... so far away.... 😆
It looks periwinkle
Oh, you’re right! The feels like a more accurate colour description. Thank you!
The color is wisteria.
Ah, that’s it! Thank you!
I got the banana hammer too!!!😂
yessss! Have you tried using it, yet? It's surprisingly functional. 😂
@@LittleCocoStudio not yet! I am going to use it as a paper weight!
@@LittleCocoStudio I have some of the Keiko Shibata ones and they are original Tomoe River paper.
I have my haul on my channel, if you’d like to check it out 😊
Thank you! I was pleasantly surprised to see how well they worked together. I look forward to watching your haul!! 😍
Most of the things are too bright and crazy for me to use for a whole year. The quality of their products is excellent.
Wait! My freebie notebook is different!!
I think the one you got is really pretty as well! You had such an amazing haul!
they will replace the damaged notebook - send picture and email!
😮 thank you for letting me know! I emailed them to see what they said. I would prefer a non-damaged notebook since it giving it away as a gift!
My order did not come in the hobonichi box, so I set it aside, thinking it was my husbands mail... (I now have my 2025 purchases.)
Oh, that’s strange that it didn’t come in the hobonichi box. I’m glad you got your order anyway. What do you think? 🥰
Most of the things are too bright and crazy for me to use for a whole year. The quality of their products is excellent.
I agree! Typically, I’m instantly drawn to the brightest designs, and then I usually end up choosing something a bit more neutral. The wallpaper one will be interesting. I think I’ll like it for the whole year, and it’ll be interesting to see how I feel this time next year!
