As ever huge thanks for the support of this content type, I really am trying to make this element of the channel work and to do that I need your continued feedback, please post a comment and also vote or your favourite photo!
Andy another great video, even though it looks bloody cold, it was so beautiful I almost want to jump on a plane from the Costa Blanca and play Goswick Golf Club!! Keep up the good work!
These are just getting better and better Andy, superb soundtrack, and beautifully filmed and edited, I’ve got Parkinson’s and this time of year it can be a struggle to get motivated some days to get out and play, but films like this definitely inspire me to get out onto course, so thank you for that…
I’m playing this course next week, high handicapper so it could get messy but it looks fantastic. These episodes are fantastic, I’ve said it before you bring out what to me golf is about. Often great views, a different challenge and most importantly go away world and life’s troubles I’m on the golf course and life is good. Your channel is getting me playing away from My home course but as yet cannot get an overnight pass from my wife so days away only
Anyone who plays year round has faced less than ideal conditions, and some of those occasions are most memorble for the challenge and the the beauty of a low sun, changing sky, and heavy air. Turned out great for you and "crew". Beautiful video.
Hi Andy...im a member there at Goswick and its a magnificent course....and with the wet winter and spring and now its warming up the course is looking fantastic now. It just held open qualifying. Thank you for your positive review but come back and play it when its at its best in september.
Wonderful discoveries in your videos. Really enjoying everyone of these new style videos. You guys have a real talent for this. Just as an aside; I am nearing 80 and was considering retiring to the 19th for 2024. Then you produced these golf culture videos. So, just went down to the club for lunch and decided to renew for at least one more year. Thank you for the persuasion/encouragement.
I've been a subscriber to your channel for many years and this type of content is what brought me here and keeps me watching. Your documentary style is second to none. And as I've said before the camera work and videos are absolutely the best in all of TH-cam golf. I've waded through just about all the TH-cam golf channels out there and there's only 2 that I never miss an upload and yours is one of them. Keep doing what you're doing Andy because it's only getting better.
Wow Andy massive thanks to you and Tracey for bringing these videos to us. Your channel is by far my favourite golf channel on TH-cam. Bloody brilliant matey keep it going
Andy, like so many have already said. You and your wife have created something to be extremely proud of. Your channel and the series is becoming something I look forward to viewing after a working day. ❤
I’ve always watched most of your videos because I watch entirely too much golf YT but the new videos and tone makes it an instant click for me. This format cuts through the noise and shows what makes you unique. Well done
Yes, I certainly approve of the change. It has allowed the viewers to get a better sense of who you really are, and the production values are fantastic. Keep up the good work, Andy.
Beautiful scenery, beautiful music and as always great fun seeing the mild weather arrive with you making great shots! Yes, I love this easy going almost tactile content style.
Andy, we followers can hear the happiness in your voice based on your new 'style' of content. It is so enjoyable to view and absorb the beauty of each episode. By the way, winter golf tests all of us with weather issues but we all bundle up, grab our clubs, and head for the course for a day of golf. See you next week...
Great memories from this course, shot what was at the time my best round of 78 there a few years back, great to see it brought to life on film like this! Great stuff Andy.
Andy - I LOVE your work and especially this series. As an avid golfer AND photographer, I would love for you to create a behind the scenes episode on how you create such a wonderful product. Keep up the beautiful work. You are an inspiration both on and off the course.
Living in Sweden and with about a foot of snow, -10C and sunsets as early as 15:00 right now, it´s soft and calm golfing videos like this that keep me not completely falling into depression 😀
Posted reviews of Goswick before, absolutely brilliant course, similar to Fraserburgh, a must on the golfing bucket list for everyone. You must try Bamburgh in the area Andy
You are doing such a great job you two. Beautiful videography and you really bring these places to life. It’s worth the effort because you are already looking and sounding happier and more relaxed Andy 🏌️♂️🎄
We've just booked to do the coastal classic next year,me ,my son and son in law. Goswick looks fantastic. Bamburgh Castle,Alnmouth and Dunstanburgh Castle courses are booked. Great videos you are both making. Thanks for posting them
I watch Golf on TH-cam and I will have to say that I love watching your channel is the best. It is just a man and Golf. Most of the other ones are just to busy. I do not know what grass y'all have over there, but the course you play on are just beautiful and green. Ours right now are brown, but the greens look good. Keep making these great videos.
Another great video Andy, and a gem of a course you picked again! Never played it but heard a lot about it so seeing it definitely adds it to my list of ones to play. Great filming and and editing by you and Tracy - good work on keeping me focused for all 15 mins of it and not wanting to miss a bit!! One request - could you put the music / tracks you use in your description as they are really good and would like know what they are, especially the ambient track when you first started playing. Looking forward to your next hidden gem! WInning photo - Tracy b 😉
Thank you! Very well done. I love the scenery, ambiance, conditions, and your commentary. Your content keeps getting better & better. All the photos were great! I prefer this type of travel video far more than club reviews. I would love to see a video with you and Iona Stephens chatting and playing a bit of sunset golf together!
Hey my friend. Great video as always. And you know that no matter the weather, no matter how you have to make a great golf film, no matter how good or bad you play…..myself along with many others will be here 100% to back you , to help you and support you fully along the way. Always remember we watch because of who you are as a person….love ya brother. Always here to support you. Merry Christmas my friend. You deserve an awesome holiday season. We need to have a cigar together and play sometime. Jay.
Nicely done once again Andy & Tracy! You captured the stunning beauty of the course, so lovely to see all that vibrant green and brilliant sunshine. Watching this helps me get through another Canadian winter without this great pastime. 👍
You and Tracy are back to your best work Andy. These videos are beautiful little travelogues. Who of us playing on the road don't like a little bit of luxury after a day's golfing so I'm glad you are highlighting some lovely hotels rather than resorting to 'man in a van' travel! Goswick is an amazing course and one I definitely wouldn't like to play in fog. You need to see where your ball goes! What I really appreciate in your films are the 'B reel' moments, like you brushing your hand against the high dune grass as you went from green to tee. We all do that sort of thing, experiencing our surroundings as we play using all our senses. It's what makes golf a wonderful walk out into nature. Keep doing what you're doing. For me today you're the photo winner with your shot 'C'. Cheers, and thank you both.
Thank you so much for filming in general and especially in 2-3 Celsius, Andy. I can't play in anything lower than 50 F / 10 C here in the U.S., as my hands stop working /feeling. Bad circulation. Love the new content, format, and the talent behind the camera! It is always our better half that helps us be, well, better ;->
As someone who films a lot and films a bit on the golf course I can’t tell you how much work goes into a video/short film like Andy has done here. It’s a ton of work. Love the new style of content. Keep up the good work.
And, I'm glad you didn't bail-out on this one. Mrs And's videography really made Goswick look outstanding, and the early fog wouldn't have hurt the video - there was some real, sureal atmosphere in those early minutes. I'm really enjoying the insertion of the stills too. It's a nice touch. I'm giving my vote to Andy A on this occassion. The paraglider added an extra element that kept the viewer 'trapped' in the image. Well done. Keep them coming, please.
Happy to verify this assessment of the course - fantastic links - not a rollercoaster ride but classy and very well turned out for a links. Combine with Dunstanburgh & Bamborough Castles courses with Alnmouth village for some superb golf and solid pubs
Another brilliant vid. Andy, yours is the only channel on TH-cam which consistantly lowers my blood pressure and heart rate as I watch - the production values are fantastic so hats off to you and the family for that. Please keep these going as they are pretty much unique in the YT Golf community. Oh, and I couldn't choose between the photos - they were all worthy of being ScreenSavers!
This is probably the best all around golf video on YT this year. Beautiful golf course, outstanding scenery and photographs. I really enjoy the new direction of your channel.
Dear Andy, you will never ever know how much I appreciate your content. Just thank you so much. I love the memories of the peace and tranquility that golf brought me in my life.
Another great video Andy! Love this series! As i sit here in my kitchen with about 6 inches of snow on the ground, I can get my golf fix through your videos. Thank-you!!
Fantastic video. Love the cinematography, drone footage and very special in that lighting. It would be great to play with a member on one of these rounds to learn more about the club history and get insight on some of the holes. Keep up the great work 👍
Tracy D. Great work you two. A lovely course and the concept of how you have presented the location, course and hotel really does make it all worthwhile. Well done.
Totally agree that the camera work is excellent and then add to that the stunning locations and atmospheric music really all works. Really enjoying this series. Thank You both for all your work.
Fantastic content! so calming and relaxing just showing the beauty of golf. I feel your love for the game in its purest form. your messages of not worrying about the scores just play and have conversation and comradery means the world to me. keep it up.... it is greatly appreciated here in the states!
This is great content, I would love to see more little historical tidbits. So many older golf architects, a little series on the many different and numerous Britain has to offer ? Just showing a few artsy golf shots is fine , drone footage is great too, this can. be tough in the winter as well I bet. Keep up the work you two, Tracy photos took the win by Me this time,
The scenery is breath taking! I applaud you for playing in the cold weather👏. At least for me, all the warm clothing is far too restrictive. The artistry of the video is top notch and makes me want to suit up and brave the cold!
I have commented before about the sequence about the storyline. But after a few videos with this format I have absolutely love it especially with the cinematic and calming shot with gorgeous photography!
Finally, you got to my home county. Goswick is a beautiful course but really hard especially in the Summer when the greens and fairways are links hard. IMO two courses just south of Goswick are even prettier - Bamburgh Castle GC and, my personal favourite, Dunstanburgh Castle GC. Truth is Northumberland has a lot of really pretty courses including some really nice 9 hole courses (Alnmouth Village is a wonderful if rather mad 9 hole course). Hope Andy's comes back and tries some more of the great Northumbrian courses. As for the photos, Andy c is my pick.
I golf with a large (20+) group of seniors - with the ease now of pulling up detailed hourly forecasts, the majority have become amateur meteorologists, lol. We've certainly played many many rounds that even a few years ago most of us would have skipped because of a " rainy" forecast. Being able to view now the rain "stopping " just before our tee times, has given us the opportunity to get a lot more rounds in, and even a quick 9, if the forecasters actually get it wrong (imagine) . Also most are members so if we only get 5 holes in, it's no major reduction in the overall season long total. Also I've played in many a tournament that seemed destined for cancellation a few days before scheduled, but remained rain free when the day arrived. Another recommendation, is to have quality rain gear for yourself and your equipment. Makes it so much easier to get through those rounds that are fine, except for a few holes of light rain.
Tracy d. Andy, I can not express enough how much I am enjoying this switch that you have made in programming. The scenery and videotography are top dog. The background narrative is informative but not cluttered with useless content. And the photo contest is fun. Maybe as the days get cooler and shorter, the van should head further south.
@@TheAverageGolfer You and Tracy make a great team. Thank you for reading my comments. I don't expect you to change anything in light of anything that I might say. I believe you have a wonderful plan. I along with many other subscribers, we are thrilled with your willingness to share all of this with us. Thank you very much. I look forward to following you next year and my goal is to share more of your video with my friends. Hope you both have a very Happy Christmas as you folks on that side of the pond like to say. God Bless!
Mr Avg. Golfer, I absolutely love your videos. You inspired me to play when it was 32 degrees and drizzling in Seattle. Just want to say thanks for the videos mate. Cheers from Seattle.
i saw a short you posted few days ago about trying out swing idea by Saguto. for someone who is desperately trying to be just an average golfer I like it very much. would be a huge interest to see you doing more of it. good health and good luck to you 🤞
These videos are very relaxing.... Id love to see you visiting various courses and playing golf with a few long standing members and having chats about their journey at that course
Here in the states (I'm in Iowa) we don't get much winter golf. Course close down. Greens get covered sometimes due to more nasty cold and snow expected. I was fortunate to play last Friday. Been lucky some years to get in every month of the year too. At that point its about being outside, who you are with, and enjoying the day vs. being inside. Also, its another day closer to spring! Cheers!
Going on a Golf trip in May, and Goswick Golf Club is one of the courses we are playing. Looking forward to it even more after seeing your video Andy. Well done
Been a member of Goswick for more years than I can remember and have to say that I have never seen it better portrayed/presented than in your lovely film. Especially in midwinter! Thanks and a mighty well done to you and your team.
Coming from a long time member the comment means a lot, we try our best to showcase a golf course and clearly you feel we achieved that, much appreciated
You've basically re-invented the golf You Tube video format Andy. And Tracy is a true professional with a camera. Keep going. Spring is not that far away. I have two 9-hole recommendations for you. Beckside in Cumbria, and Settle & Giggleswick in the Yorkshire Dales. The scenery is stunning at both for turn-up-and-play golf.
Yet another great video And, accompanied by some superb photography. These videos really serve us with an appetite to want to go and play at these wonderful venues. Makes us realise just how blessed we are in the UK to have such a rich choice of wonderful golf courses to choose from. Keep them coming And, they are so pleasing to watch.
Lovely video. You’ve been working at your game, Andy - and it looks like you’ve also been working to perfect that club twirl after hitting a good shot! Look forward to you coming down south - the courses on the south coast have some spectacular views too.
Superb video and a much love, special place. Have to say Tracy needs to get a website up and running of her photography as she really did some stunning shots. Good luck and all the best from another golf obsessed couple.
Beautiful course for those who can stay on the fairway..no golf until Saturday as a full coring this week.It was going fine until storms came through. Our Greenkeeper is 15/10 so he will work his magic. You certainly get to tour around..regards Gus , New Zealand
Hi Andy, That's a cracking video (again). That's a course I'd never heard about, but now want to play (so you're doing something right 😊) Now down to the nitty gritty...... it's time to stick to the golf Andy because we both agree Tracy D is our favourite today . Catch you next week
I absolutely love the courses that you are showing us!! Great content, I appreciate the added content of the hotels and food. Please keep them coming!!
Well done, Andy. And Tracy, you're a jewel, love! I am really enjoying this new format. It's just lovely. My favorite photos from this video were Tracy A and Andy C. Cheers, mates. YNWA!!
Played Goswick a couple of years ago with my son, some fantastic courses in Northumberland. Great video from Mrs. AG, another fantastic episode Andy, keep them coming
your new series in lowercase are fun to watch. i live in canada, i was able to play up to 2 weeks ago in montreal region, now we have snow, wonderful scenery/golf courses in your country. anything over 5 celcius is fine, under that, if the ground is frozen the ball bounce like hitting tarmac.
Andy…LOVE the change! What a great couple/team you guys are. You touch on the emotion and beauty of our sport. I share your new ones now and before I didn’t really. I think this is your niche
Mesmerising video, and a very special golf course. Having played Goswick once, I know how good it is, and this video does it justice. It brought a joyful lump to my throat :)
Absolutely beautiful! Kudos to you and Tracy for the great video. Can’t wait to jump on a plane and play some of the courses you highlight. Thanks and keep up the great content.
Stunning series and content, Northumberland is just a magical place to visit and play golf. Alnwick golf breaks can help you plan a visit. Keep the videos coming, Andy. Thank you. Photo: Andy C
Watched on and off for a few years @theaveragegolfer and love the new content style. Am from the north east and have always fancied playing Goswick but this has probably given me the push to get out and do it. Dunstanburgh just down the road is another great links course 👍🏼
Mentioned Northumberland to you a few weeks ago though Alnmouth village was my choice. Goswick is just wonderful aswell as you've shown...played alot of my junior golf there and the place has never changed..loved your comments on 13 and 15 two of the best par 3s in the northeast 👍
Played Goswick several years ago and can't wait to revisit, A great course in wonderful Northumberland and many courses nearby, Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh for example. That hotel looks lovely too, will certainly bear it in mind for my next trip to my favourite part of the UK.
Really enjoyed Goswick when I played it recently Andy. Much more difficult when the wind is up! Bamburgh, Dunstanbrough both fab links courses in Northumberland worth trying put too as well as 9 holes across the county
Photo Andy e. I love black and white photos. I play all year round and I do enjoy winter golf, the brisk breeze to wake you up. The change in content really suits you as it seems you’re enjoying your golf more.
Andy, I’m really enjoying these videos. The artistic element with video and photography is a real differentiator and makes for an enjoyable watch. I’ve always enjoyed your 9 hole playing videos and better weather in Spring/Summer hopefully will allow you to find a way to bring this new look to that tried and tested format.
New form of content is really excellent Andy. Vidography, music and commentary all class. A welcome change from the loud and click baity kind of golf vlog clogging up youtube
This type of content is just what folk are crying out for.. because it reminds them why they play sport.. why we have a need to explore nature and our surroundings..golf and other sports are the doorway to this experience.. sport itself is not the experience alone.. love the way your developing your filming going forward.. it’s authentic.. ❤️
These are just getting better and better Andy, superb soundtrack, and beautifully filmed and edited, I’ve got Parkinson’s and this time of year it can be a struggle to get motivated some days to get out and play, but films like this definitely inspire me to get out onto course, so thank you for that…
Sorry to hear of your illness and can only imagine how that might impact of your life, glad the videos help in a small way
Never stop moving. Take care.
I’m playing this course next week, high handicapper so it could get messy but it looks fantastic.
These episodes are fantastic, I’ve said it before you bring out what to me golf is about. Often great views, a different challenge and most importantly go away world and life’s troubles I’m on the golf course and life is good.
Your channel is getting me playing away from
My home course but as yet cannot get an overnight pass from my wife so days away only

This has to be one of, if not my favourite comment of all time, the fact I encouraged you to play on is quite emotional for me ❤️
Keep swinging and walking health benefits are worth it alone.
Thanks for sharing your travel and playing experiences on these wonderful courses. So well presented, so entertaining.
Wow Andy massive thanks to you and Tracey for bringing these videos to us. Your channel is by far my favourite golf channel on TH-cam. Bloody brilliant matey keep it going
Andy: the photography is incredible
Andy, like so many have already said. You and your wife have created something to be extremely proud of. Your channel and the series is becoming something I look forward to viewing after a working day. ❤
Nice to read and hope you keep on enjoying, please keep providing feedback

Yeah that’s really tough and why we should be grateful, hope the videos help
Same here in Québec, Canada. Hopping a great ski season mind you….and an early spring for golfing😊
Really pleased to read this and yes far happier creating some meaningful stuff
I agree!
Sorry man, Tracy B! That b/w was a close 2nd. Beautiful (and challenging) gem of a course.
We've just booked to do the coastal classic next year,me ,my son and son in law.
Goswick looks fantastic.
Bamburgh Castle,Alnmouth and Dunstanburgh Castle courses are booked.
Great videos you are both making.

Nicely done once again Andy & Tracy! You captured the stunning beauty of the course, so lovely to see all that vibrant green and brilliant sunshine. Watching this helps me get through another Canadian winter without this great pastime. 👍

Great to see you back doing what you do better than any other golf youtuber. Feels like the channel is back where it should be

I will definitely be returning, we had planned to play Alnmouth village but the winds were 50mph and had to return home
off the beaten track is fast becoming my favorite thing to watch. I love seeing new courses and genuine thoughts on how they are.
I find it best not to take too much notice of forecasts!
Tracy d. Andy, I can not express enough how much I am enjoying this switch that you have made in programming. The scenery and videotography are top dog. The background narrative is informative but not cluttered with useless content. And the photo contest is fun. Maybe as the days get cooler and shorter, the van should head further south.
I am pleased to read all your points which we are trying to achieve, the van will be on a big tour next year
@@TheAverageGolfer You and Tracy make a great team. God Bless!
What a gorgeous video - really makes me want to play there. It encapsulates what makes winter golf so wonderful on days like these.
Tracy B for me.
We always hope we show a course off well and encourage others to visit so nice to read
Mr Avg. Golfer, I absolutely love your videos. You inspired me to play when it was 32 degrees and drizzling in Seattle. Just want to say thanks for the videos mate. Cheers from Seattle.
As an average golfer I love your material and thank you for showing us these beautiful havens for golf ...from Canada
i saw a short you posted few days ago about trying out swing idea by Saguto.
for someone who is desperately trying to be just an average golfer I like it very much.
would be a huge interest to see you doing more of it.
good health and good luck to you 🤞
Absolutely gorgeous course! Camera work was really great! The Andy C photo was my favorite, but they were all great. Thanks for sharing!!
What a tremendous video! So well done! From the camera shots to the music choice! Outstanding!!
Nice to read
Yet another stunning short film, showing Goswick in all its beauty, and the golf was not bad either. Well played Sir!
Andy C for me this week.
Much appreciated
Well done
Andy D was my photo pick. Another stellar video. I really look forward to seeing your next episode. You and your team are truly outstanding.
Thanks for the compliment and the recommendations
Yet another great video And, accompanied by some superb photography. These videos really serve us with an appetite to want to go and play at these wonderful venues. Makes us realise just how blessed we are in the UK to have such a rich choice of wonderful golf courses to choose from. Keep them coming And, they are so pleasing to watch.
great course. well showcased
Lovely video. You’ve been working at your game, Andy - and it looks like you’ve also been working to perfect that club twirl after hitting a good shot! Look forward to you coming down south - the courses on the south coast have some spectacular views too.
😂 always had a decent club twirl
Superb video and a much love, special place. Have to say Tracy needs to get a website up and running of her photography as she really did some stunning shots. Good luck and all the best from another golf obsessed couple.
Thanks and I will pass on your compliments
Beautiful course for those who can stay on the fairway..no golf until Saturday as a full coring this week.It was going fine until storms came through. Our Greenkeeper is 15/10 so he will work his magic. You certainly get to tour around..regards Gus , New Zealand
Hi Andy,
That's a cracking video (again). That's a course I'd never heard about, but now want to play (so you're doing something right 😊)
Now down to the nitty gritty...... it's time to stick to the golf Andy because we both agree Tracy D is our favourite today .
Catch you next week
I hadn’t heard much about the course myself but glad I visited, I will keep trying on the photos 😂
YNWA!!
Thanks so much! YNWA
I love these videos Andy. Winter golf can sure bring interesting issues for sure. Keep them coming.
Played Goswick with my two best mates many years ago and loved it but you have made it look even better than I remember it. Great work Andy
Absolutely stunning views and course. So happy you’ve turned this channel’s direction.
Stunning series and content, Northumberland is just a magical place to visit and play golf. Alnwick golf breaks can help you plan a visit. Keep the videos coming, Andy. Thank you.

We were planned to play Alnmouth the following day but 50mph winds
31 degrees F here in WI today but the sun was out so golf was played. Enjoying your channel these days. Keep up the great content!
Played Goswick several years ago and can't wait to revisit, A great course in wonderful Northumberland and many courses nearby, Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh for example. That hotel looks lovely too, will certainly bear it in mind for my next trip to my favourite part of the UK.
I will certainly return
Another stunning video, photo Andy e, very atmospheric, looks a fantastic place to go and play, keep it going Andy!!
Thanks for getting involved
Back to raw golf.
Stunning videography…. PGA Tour Standard. Love watching these before I go to bed …serene and calming before calling it a day.
Great bit of content. This type of video provokes a visceral reaction and really draws me in. Great stuff!
loved to play Goswick on the way up to North Berwick
Yes it’s very close
Really enjoyed Goswick when I played it recently Andy. Much more difficult when the wind is up! Bamburgh, Dunstanbrough both fab links courses in Northumberland worth trying put too as well as 9 holes across the county
Yes we had it easy, no breeze!
Watching you play solo it looks completely serene, peaceful, especially with the backdrop of the ocean and green of the course. Keep it up
Glad you enjoy it as I do
Really enjoy these. Different and relaxing. Thank you Andy! You, as others have said do seem more relaxed!
Well done again, quality work filming & editing the slow mo action just adds to the mood & my enjoyment 😊
Thanks 🙏
great viewing great golf too, see you can play when you try, cant wait to play it in march on route to Scotland from Norfolk , and Tracy A
Yes it’s a great track and perfect on the way up the east coast
Really enjoy your films. Keeps me inspired to finally book that golf trip to Scotland.
Photo Andy e. I love black and white photos. I play all year round and I do enjoy winter golf, the brisk breeze to wake you up. The change in content really suits you as it seems you’re enjoying your golf more.
It’s nice to play a little rather than just hit balls, thanks for getting involved
Yes indeed
A lovely way to cap off an evening. Very relaxing and picturesque. Well done and on the bucket list.
New form of content is really excellent Andy. Vidography, music and commentary all class. A welcome change from the loud and click baity kind of golf vlog clogging up youtube
That’s what we hoped for, nice to read 🙏
The course looks like a gem and your videography is outstanding
Beautiful scenery and classy capture of some really nice golf there.
Much appreciated
This type of content is just what folk are crying out for.. because it reminds them why they play sport.. why we have a need to explore nature and our surroundings..golf and other sports are the doorway to this experience.. sport itself is not the experience alone.. love the way your developing your filming going forward.. it’s authentic.. ❤️
