Lauten; please dont stop producing this type of content. This and the Snare stuff is just so good. Great mix of story, tech, history, etc. Love my Lauten mics a lot. First class company.
Please please please keep this series up!! Its absolute A+++ content. Nothing quite like this on youtube and incredible for someone like me who's a self-taught producer!
What an insanely creative drummer! I’ve been loving all of these drum tracking videos you’ve put out, but this might be my favorite one yet, besides the Metallica black album video. This man is doing something on a completely different level than everyone else and I love it.
I've recorded at 606 3 times. The first and third times, They had me in the big room with my back facing the control room window and I used a "Jelly Bean" kit of drums they already had there on the ready. The second time I recorded there, I brought my PDP Concept Maple kit with all wood hoops and a big old 26 inch bass drum. They had me set up in that little room instead of the big main room and it still sounded killer! It was still big sounding without it being too much!
sooo cool!!! Last Week ii got the Snare Mic and the ls 208. I made the first recordings and I am thrilled with your mics. Good job and many greetings from Germany
Great stuff!!! I recently got a pair of LA-220 v2’s, and maaaannnn these mics are amazing. They have their own sound and I love it. Definitely want to get the entire collection for my drum sound. You know you made a good choice when a violinist points out how amazing the mic sounds.
How did you trigger your cymbals or was that done on the console and what brand/ model of mics did you use throughout the kit and who manufactured that claptrap cymbal?
No triggers were used. Just a Lauten Snare Mic on the Clapstack (Trevor's model from Istanbul) and then run into his pedal rig. All mics on the kit are listed in the description,
I want to know who's the EMINEM drummer is?? I love to know that but i never find it just like i search The Black Eyed Peas drummer which i never know😢
That delay he did is one of the most convincing things I have ever heard in my life lol
Being in the room when he did it was insane. Never heard anything like it outside of a nudge issue. Crazy
Un fucking real how good that opening groove sounded

This makes the 606 sound more versatile space than I thought. Some of best drum sounds here I’ve heard in years. No filler only killah!
His playing feel is incredible
Agreed
Man.....that clap stack is nutty good. I love the way it tonally matches the kick. They sound great together.
His drumming is really solid, really great feel
