Eva didn't get enough credit. She was the comedic relief in the earlier parts of the show. She had to be sexy, serious, and funny and she did all 3 of those things excellently.
Yeah, Eva Longoria is the only reason I like this show, and if any other actress played gabby, I don’t think gabby would be as likeable
earlier parts of the show? she was flippin hilarious all throughout the series
Although Gabby was portrayed as childish and shallow most of the time, I always thought she was one of the smartest and bravest housewives throughout the show.
She was Shallow and Manipulative till season 5

Gabi and carlos have such a werid relationship, they love each other so much yet they can hurt and betray each other as well
Her mowing the lawn is one of the funniest parts and I always remember it.
Bree: Asking for the baskets back after the muffins at the funeral. Lynette: Going in the pool with dress to get her boys back out. Those were the iconic scenes from the early days.
In real life she would be the type of person that I couldnt stand but she is actually my favorite character! XD She is so funny
For a seemingly smart businessman, Carlos made a stupid move physically forcing Gabby to sign a postnup. It could easily be nullified in court for having being signed under duress.
how would gabby prove that???
She had a big bruise on her arm after the incident that John later saw.

man i really hated carlos when he made gabrielle sigh that paper. that was just plain old wrong. I really felt sorry for gabby.

Force or duress and threat and intimation is a defense to signing a contract. Gaby could show in court that he violently forced her to sign the post nuptial agreement and it wouldn’t be valid

And she never got an award for her acting, it goes to show the awards are not given to the people with the best acting in the show.

Carlos is acting like he outsmarted Gaby when really, all he did was violently carry her, push her onto a chair, while grasping her hand and grabbing her neck.

Looking back their relationship was actually pretty toxic during the early series. They did all kinds of things to deliberately hurt each other. As the show progressed they seemed to grow up and out of that phase, thankfully.

Eva Longoria is a fabulous actress. Her comic timing is perfect.
Though I enjoyed her later on, I couldn't stand Gabby in the first season. Carlos should have just divorced her. Putting his hands on her was only asking for trouble.
"He's not a gay-basher." loved that episode! Not that gay-bashing is god but the misunderatandings that happened to Carlos.
I also love that backyard barbeque scene! Classic DH.

The plot line makes no sense. Carlos knows about her past, about how she’s been forced against her will to have s*x with her stepfather as a minor yet he still violently forced her against her will and scared her into signing.

no you spelled it right the first time- its "sigh" and she was sighing because the bank account in the kamen islands was the only thing that she had against him because he was on trail for emebezzelment (the court had no solid proof, but Gabby did so she used it as blackmail so that carlos wouldn't make her sign a post-nup . (He wanted her to sign a post- nuptual which is a document saying that she gets nothing if they get divorced)

I’m still going through the show but so far from what I’ve seen Gaby is the ONLY character I haven’t rooted against. Susan is a hypocrite who gets on my nerves, Lynette has a real mean streak, and I can list an equal amount of things I love and hate about Bree
Bree (Shotgun, gorg hair, and sincere) and Gaby are one. Lynette can make you cry for her strength but also her mistakes. And I was always rooting for Eddie. 😂
