I hope you guys could cover some of the other ones like Platinum Dunes Halloween and Daniel Farrands original treatment of Halloween 6, maybe the rest of Halloween night dance. Also, Halloween 6 took place in Smiths Grove like this one. This treatment is really interesting, and I wonder if they could take some ideas from this and make it for either a movie or show. They also did a comic that showed what happened with Laurie between H2 and H20 called Halloween: The first death of Laurie Strode. Also, happy 45th to Halloween (1978)

This story has elements of the Young Adult Halloween novels (especially Book 3: The Mad House), a couple of the movies, and even one o two of the comics. Not bad at all . This was really interesting. Thank you. Hope you finish the other novelizations soon. The ones you did were great

This also sounds a lot like the young adult novels that came out in the 90s especially Halloween the Madhouse pretty close to the same thing you should do a review on those three novels it would be awesome!

I know I've said this before but give me a reboot (yes, another one) but make the main focus of it be Dr. Loomis hunting Michael Myers & have the babysitters as secondary characters. Make it a Van Helsing Vs Dracula but PLEASE keep the mystery behind Michael. Hell, make PART of the movie about trying to find out why Michael is the way he is & even go so far as to maybe even finding his parents but it inevitably leads to a dead end. He is just The Shape, a force of nature. Is he a man? Is he supernatural? Is he both? Just always leave it at a question, though. NEVER give an answer. At least to start off with, make Dr. Loomis the only one to understand this. This has always been the appeal for Halloween to me. Loomis, Michael & the never to be solved mystery behind The Shape & why it does what it does & has the abilities it has. With ALL of that said, I'm totally fine with alternate time lines & letting people showcase what Halloween is to them but I'm very much in Carpenter's boat on this. Oh &...you can't kill the boogeyman. If they end up turning him into spaghetti, just have him reappear a year later on Halloween. How? No one needs to know! Mystery! Also, terrifying! Alright, had my geek out. I still enjoy a lot of Halloween movies for what they are, even if I don't agree with it. Halloween Ends & Rob Zombie's versions I can't stand, though. There's a couple of Loomis movies or episodes on TH-cam that are actually really good the actor is decent Donald Plesance Loomis and the story is pretty good too snd even ties into Halloween 2018. Highly recommend checking them out if you haven't seen them yet.
Most likely Michael stole the files. I'm interested by Michael studying the files and strategizing. Michael's being tactical heightens adds more credibility.

i think they could pull great material from the Halloween comics, Night Dance i think its called, it has Loomis and Michael as a kid at Smith Grove , all kinds of whacky things going on, staff and other kids being killed, Loomis not being able to know how or who is doing it. Could do a short tv series with the last show having Michael break out, of course in the final show you dont show Michaels face , as he would be 21 by then.

I still think they should have had a prequel sequel al la Better Call Saul. A tie to pt 3 could have been done in a way where pt 3 is Retconned because it shows a trailer for Halloween, but heavily borrowed from. The great reveal should be The Shape is a hyper advanced replica of Michael Myers produced by Silver Shamrock. And other masked killers are out there. Each are virtually nondestructable. Newer models even better and can talk. But something would be off. They become active killers only on Halloween. They get their kill commands from the warlock mad scientist. A similar motive to The Tall Man of Phantasm.

I came up with an idea on how too do Halloween over again , but with a twist ,in a post , not to long ago , you can look for it if you want . Basically , Myers has a great home life , with even greater parents who love him very much ! & on Halloween night , a couple demented psychopaths who escaped from a near by hospital . Well , they happen too come across the Myers house, break in & kill everyone in side , except for little Michael Myers , who was hiding somewhere , so he was never seen ! Long story short , Michael gets blamed for the murders , but he's innocent ! He gets thrown into a very bad mental hospital where they don't care what happens too the patients . Michael is severely beaten , & miss treated , until he breaks out & heads home , for redemption , or a bloodbath ! Maybe both!
Hey my first video of yours. I loved it. Halloween has started, stopped and restarted time lines so I say it could be done again and The Missing Years sounds great. Will they make it? Probably never but could they and should they? Yes! I don't care that the other films have borrowed from this. It was here first. Maybe they can change those bits up. The saddest thing with Resurrection, RZ Halloween, and H2 is that they were just following trends. No soul, nothing interesting or great to add to the mythology. I remember so many popular horror movies like Saw, Hostel, House of 1000 Corpses, etc. were so gore heavy and that's what the remakes became, as if that's scary and interesting. It's like porn, if there's no interesting story, all it is, is a fucking mess. Resurrection was basically an 80's F13 movie but with Michael, that was really sad. Even H20 had bits of Scream mixed in. I think if they had gone more of an original route, it might've not even been better at the time, but with movies like Scream 3, would've grown appreciation over time. Instead, they're generally the most disliked movies by fans. I think that's why I liked the Blumhouse movies so much. They weren't super original, of course, but each film followed its own beat.
I'm a little confused by the timeline here. It was supposed to take place a year after Halloween 2, but Charles Cyphers would have been much older and the main character babysits FOR Lindsey Wallace?
Yeah I think I misspoke and misheard there because you're right.....I think Lindsey would have been babysat BY Langley. Which it makes it more fucked up she dies off screen. As far as Cyphers go I guess its one of those situations where Tobin Bell just played his younger self in a prequel, lol. Great point though.

The way I took it he doesn't have his mask. Which I'll give the Rob Zombie remake credit for there, they found a way to give him a mask for those scenes.
HALLOWEEN 4.5 THE ANIMATED MOVIE what they should do to keep halloween/michael myers in the public's awareness is to make halloween 4.5 THE ANIMATED MOVIE. bring back JAMIE LLOYD, REV. JACKSON SAYER, DR. LOOMIS, DEPUTY GARY HUNT from halloween II, RACHEL, CHARLIE BOYLES mentioned in the 1978 film! so what if the actors are now older or since passed away they can still voice their characters or other voice atcors can imitate the characters's voices.. skip all of the thorn crap from 5 AND 666. halloween 4.5 takes place in 1989. i never wanted jamie to become the next shape. i knew all along they were never going to take that route. what they should have done is ship jamie off to smith's grove and then have michael break into smith's grove (give haddonefield a break for one halloween) in an effort to either attempt to kill her or traumatize her to the point where she actually begins to think she could possibly be evil to get her to join up with him....which she ultimately refuses to do and in the end she turns on michael and possibly/apparently kills him and saves rachel in the process. i always thought it would be a good idea to have michael break back into the facility. this way you could have a change in the setting, but still be true to the original concept. then i saw a max von sydow movie called the night visitor from about 1971. in it he breaks out of the asylum periodically to murder those who had him institutionalized, only to break back into the asylum after each new murder he commits. then i was like 'well, maybe it isn't an original idea, but it would still be cool to see michael break back into smith's grove.' also, in my 'story' there was to have been a patient at smith's grove who was an edlerly man. this man some times seems to be helping jamie escape michael and other times he seems to he assisting michael in his quest to find her. this old guy would turn out to be charlie bowles who was mentioned in the graveyard scene in 1978's halloween as having hacked his family up after supper. it is revealed that deputy gary hunt (hunter von leer) in halloween II was judith myers's lover on halloween 1963. they both have blonde hair. the deputy says he can remember halloween 1963 in halloween II. another halloween series alumni i would like to have in what i call 'halloween 4. 5' is rev. jackson p. sayer from 4: the return. the preacher actually did catch up with the evil he had been pursuing for years that he makes reference to in his conversation with loomis in 4. when the rev. caught up with his evil, he shot it six times and actually killed it. the preacher called it 'evil', but the authorties just saw the corpse of a dead man that the preacher had shot six times. when rev. jackson tried to tell everyone the person he had killed was evil incarnate everyone thought the preacher was insane and he was sent to smith's grove where he once again converses with loomis. while in smith's grove he / the preacher encounters michael and the preacher is convinced that michael REALLY is evil incarnate ... even well beyond what he had previously been pursuing and had ecountered/shot six times and killed. once i found a way to get all of the characters at smith's grove it just fell into place. loomis was no problem. michael of course was on the trail of jamie. jamie would actually be in smith's grove. charlie boyles and rev. jackson p. sayer would all ready be there. that just left gary hunt and rachel. deputy gary hunt could either be transporting paperwork about michael and/or jamie to the facility and rachel could be going to visit jamie there independently of each other OR gary hunt could be transporting rachel there for a visit with jamie and serving as her body guard. hunt while there encounters michael. he tells michael none of this was supposed to have happened. deputy hunt tells michael he/deputy hunt truly loved micahel's sister judith and they had plans to marry as soon as both were out of school. he tells michael that he / michael ruined his/gary's life by murdering judith and that is what set him/gary on his path of being involved in law enforcement; trying to prevent anyone else from ever suffering the kind of loss that he/gary did on halloween night 1963. this encounter of course ends badly for gary hunt.

This is in the H20 timeline so there technically was no H4 or H5

Hell no. One of the dumb things about that trilogy. I feel like there's a ton of Ends and Kills stuff we'll never see either.

I think if they had gone more of an original route, it might've not even been better at the time, but with movies like Scream 3, would've grown appreciation over time. Instead, they're generally the most disliked movies by fans. I think that's why I liked the Blumhouse movies so much. They weren't super original, of course, but each film followed its own beat.

I'm a little confused by the timeline here. It was supposed to take place a year after Halloween 2, but Charles Cyphers would have been much older and the main character babysits FOR Lindsey Wallace?
Yeah I think I misspoke and misheard there because you're right.....I think Lindsey would have been babysat BY Langley. Which it makes it more fucked up she dies off screen. As far as Cyphers go I guess its one of those situations where Tobin Bell just played his younger self in a prequel, lol. Great point though.

The way I took it he doesn't have his mask. Which I'll give the Rob Zombie remake credit for there, they found a way to give him a mask for those scenes.

HALLOWEEN 4.5 THE ANIMATED MOVIE what they should do to keep halloween/michael myers in the public's awareness is to make halloween 4.5 THE ANIMATED MOVIE. bring back JAMIE LLOYD, REV. JACKSON SAYER, DR. LOOMIS, DEPUTY GARY HUNT from halloween II, RACHEL, CHARLIE BOYLES mentioned in the 1978 film! so what if the actors are now older or since passed away they can still voice their characters or other voice atcors can imitate the characters's voices.. skip all of the thorn crap from 5 AND 666. halloween 4.5 takes place in 1989. i never wanted jamie to become the next shape. i knew all along they were never going to take that route. what they should have done is ship jamie off to smith's grove and then have michael break into smith's grove (give haddonefield a break for one halloween) in an effort to either attempt to kill her or traumatize her to the point where she actually begins to think she could possibly be evil to get her to join up with him....which she ultimately refuses to do and in the end she turns on michael and possibly/apparently kills him and saves rachel in the process. i always thought it would be a good idea to have michael break back into the facility. this way you could have a change in the setting, but still be true to the original concept. then i saw a max von sydow movie called the night visitor from about 1971. in it he breaks out of the asylum periodically to murder those who had him institutionalized, only to break back into the asylum after each new murder he commits. then i was like 'well, maybe it isn't an original idea, but it would still be cool to see michael break back into smith's grove.' also, in my 'story' there was to have been a patient at smith's grove who was an edlerly man. this man some times seems to be helping jamie escape michael and other times he seems to he assisting michael in his quest to find her. this old guy would turn out to be charlie bowles who was mentioned in the graveyard scene in 1978's halloween as having hacked his family up after supper. it is revealed that deputy gary hunt (hunter von leer) in halloween II was judith myers's lover on halloween 1963. they both have blonde hair. the deputy says he can remember halloween 1963 in halloween II. another halloween series alumni i would like to have in what i call 'halloween 4. 5' is rev. jackson p. sayer from 4: the return. the preacher actually did catch up with the evil he had been pursuing for years that he makes reference to in his conversation with loomis in 4. when the rev. caught up with his evil, he shot it six times and actually killed it. the preacher called it 'evil', but the authorties just saw the corpse of a dead man that the preacher had shot six times. when rev. jackson tried to tell everyone the person he had killed was evil incarnate everyone thought the preacher was insane and he was sent to smith's grove where he once again converses with loomis. while in smith's grove he / the preacher encounters michael and the preacher is convinced that michael REALLY is evil incarnate ... even well beyond what he had previously been pursuing and had ecountered/shot six times and killed. once i found a way to get all of the characters at smith's grove it just fell into place. loomis was no problem. michael of course was on the trail of jamie. jamie would actually be in smith's grove. charlie boyles and rev. jackson p. sayer would all ready be there. that just left gary hunt and rachel. deputy gary hunt could either be transporting paperwork about michael and/or jamie to the facility and rachel could be going to visit jamie there independently of each other OR gary hunt could be transporting rachel there for a visit with jamie and serving as her body guard. hunt while there encounters michael. he tells michael none of this was supposed to have happened. deputy hunt tells michael he/deputy hunt truly loved micahel's sister judith and they had plans to marry as soon as both were out of school. he tells michael that he / michael ruined his/gary's life by murdering judith and that is what set him/gary on his path of being involved in law enforcement; trying to prevent anyone else from ever suffering the kind of loss that he/gary did on halloween night 1963. this encounter of course ends badly for gary hunt.
