The Joker, as awesome as he is, actually does have fears. He's afraid of being forgotten, of not having an effect on anybody. He's obviously still afraid of Batman to some degree. And most ironically of all, he can't stand being laughed at. This fucks him up in practically every incarnation of him. Although the fear gas isn't quite as effective since he's already insane from chemicals, Joker still has fears to exploit, though Scarecrow needs to figure them out first. At least he still sees the hallucinations as physical threats which is enough to put them on equal footing in a fight and piss each other off at their own failure to intimidate

Uses not brute force, but the psychological weaknesses of his opponent to not only take them down, but *obliterate* their psyche, crippling them and allowing him to attack them physically, if their mind isn't already broken. They should have added a new costume called "Reactive" which makes the scarecrow model you fight unique to his enemies. Being whatever his opponent fears the most manifested into a body. Like for Mr. Freeze it could be his wife dead coming back to haunt him in an intense fashion or with Batman it could be Bats in the rapid shape of scarecrow.

I do. And I maintain that unless it's a full on re-imagining like Ledger, the Joker needs a LOT more in the way of cruel wrinkles coming off that wicked smile. This Joker just looks like an ordinary guy.
Truth is, I think most of the faces in this video game don't feel quite right. Ivy's and Supergirl's mugs count as well.

They should have added a new costume called "Reactive" which makes the scarecrow model you fight unique to his enemies. Being whatever his opponent fears the most manifested into a body. Like for Mr. Freeze it could be his wife dead coming back to haunt him in an intense fashion or with Batman it could be Bats in the rapid shape of scarecrow.
The way they exchange insults, you'd think Scarecrow was Joker's greatest enemy.
Scarecrow: Are you scared yet?
Joker: the only thing I fear is boredom. So yes!
I like how it just ends with them looking at each other like "well now what?"
Joker: You are not too scary, Doc.

Scarecrow is so smug in most of his intros, Joker would be the one to make him lose his cool.
Let that sink in that Joker’s dead and he only exist in Scarecrow’s fear gas in Injustice 2, so basically, Scarecrow’s kinda fighting himself.
