Humminbird Helix 5 Basics (!!!wait until the end to see us mark and catch fish!!!)

When we first bought our Helix 5 fish finder we had a lot of questions, so now that we have figured it out, we wanted to share what we know with you! Great video as far as basics go. If I want to check different things out on the Helix 5 I go to simulator mode. You can mess with the parametric settings & compare settings. Find something that works? Use it in regular mode.. you can always go back to factory settings if you get in to deep.

Flashers have outlived their usefulness! Transducers don't know if they are .being used through a hole in the ice or over the side of a boat!!

Do you know how I get this little orange arrow to go away? It’s on my sonar and it blocks like a tenth of the screen at times with nothing. Have you dealt with that?

i cant get my sonar to start maybe pressing the hidden sonar button will alowy sonar to turn on

Don’t turn it on with the transducer hooked up unless you’re on the water, dude! Unless you just like screwing up your transducers and buying more. If you fart around with it at home, disconnect the cable, please. Jeez.
