Since you are talking about multiple things maybe you should use "are" then the sentence must be like this "How could I get a job?, my english and grammar are pretty decent" You know just a nitpick 😅
Pero es que no le digan al cliente que se calme ¿que es eso?. Empatía con el cliente primero, seguramente tiene problema grave con su seguro medico, banco o lo que sea que le esté pasando y necesita resolver urgente.
