its not called butter fingers and arthritis, its called accidents and they happen. Well in my country (Sweden) they actually increased the price of the base model compared to the 7a from 5690kr (~$521) to 6590 (~$603). Like, tech is already expensive here, but come on that money is what you would pay for a flagship phone back in 2015. It's not just Google, but still this is ridiculous. You can pick up a used Pixel 8 in brand new condition for the same price, so why on earth would anyone spend over $600 on an A-Series phone. It's not a horrible deal as it's not a huge step down from the Pixel 8, but still. I bought my Pixel 4a from France for half the price of the 8a in 2021.
Tnx for ur reviewing video 🎉I have a Q! Can we download theme package from play store and install in pixel phones to change the appearance of each part such as icons, status bar or the color of options of the setting or stuff like what Samsung or xiaomi have?
Let’s think about this for a minute. Google is offering 7 years of software support and that sounds good BUT who actually keeps a phone 7 years? The Pixel 8 is already getting handicapped on the AI front due to hardware limitations…so the same would hold true for the 8a. So that being said, what (if any) AI and on device features could we expect to be watered down or completely omitted in the coming versions of android etc?
Well I've kept my Pixel 3a XL for 5 years, going to finally upgrade to the 8a since it's only $299 for Google Fi subscribers, minus $35 for the 3a trade-in. These days phones are just so good and there's really only minimal improvements year to year anymore so I just don't feel the need to constantly upgrade like I used to going back 10 years or more. Maybe I'll keep the 8a for another 5 years and get the 13a when that comes out lol.
I can’t STAND how rounded the corners are on this one. Maybe it’s just me but the 7a just looked much more professional…idk..Like I’m on an iPhone and sometimes I don’t like how rounded off the screen is on this but the pixel 8a takes it to a whole new level.
I’m on the opposite side of this opinion lol I have an iphone13 and hate flat edges as it doesn’t feel as good to hold. I also don’t,Ike how most phones are mimicking iPhones and being flat. I will wait for this phone to have a promo and cost around 350 and move to it from my 13
The Pixel 8a is $299 for Google Fi subscribers, so substantially cheaper than just $50. The Pixel 8 is like $459 for Fi subscribers and I just don't think the 8 is $150 better than the 8a. So I'll be getting the 8a to replace my 3a XL.
I don't know how they going to sell these phones. The eight is better in every single way and costs maybe £40 more some cases deals. You'll get it the same price if not cheaper. It's absolutely mad. Plastic lower grade glass. Bigger bezels worse cameras why anyone would buy this is beyond me. Why are they not $399 anymore?
