I have a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Z71 4x4 crew cab. A week ago I just put a leveling kit on the truck and bought 4, 18”x9” Fuel “Assault” wheels and put BF Goodrich All Terrain TKO-2 10 ply tires on it. The stock wheels came with 265’s but I put 285’s on the truck and now it looks night and day different. I know that on my truck you can have a lot of negative off set on the wheels otherwise they will rub. Fortunately the shop that I went to was very knowledgeable and ordered the proper offset so the tires would not rub. I think it was either a 0 or -1 offset. I’ll have to ask them and see what specific offset they got but the truck looks fantastic now and has a little better off road capability as well as all weather driving capability because the stock tires sucked in the snow.
Have a 2020 Chevy Silverado trailboss and I've driven throw 2 winters and the stock wheels have held up really good. Now just had a readyleft leveling kit and bushwackers pocket fender flares put on her looking for a a set of wheels and tires that fit the wheel opening with no rubbing and hold up like the stock wheels. I live in Pennsylvania on the Allegheny mountains and we get snow and the tires on her held it quite well looking for aggressive offroad look but she will spend most of her life on road. Don't want the tires to stick out pass the fender flares
Why no mention the problems associated with oversizes wheels and tires. Those things change the ratios in the transmissions and differentials especially in 4x4's which can be extremely expensive to repair or replace when worn out or overstressed. This includes the "WHOLE DRIVE TRAIN INCLUDING THE MOTORS". But if you have the bucks to enjoy those mod's, then go for it. Personally, I have trouble saving up $1,000 for original equipment size tires, 275/70/17 for a decent brand tire with ome rims.
I’ve alway preferred the 9 wide. I’ve seen trucks were guys have tires that stick out way too far and I don’t think it’s very proportional and doesn’t look very good to me.
Can you guys make a video on fitting new brake kits? If you get new wheels and tires that are way over sized from stock is it necessary or even a good idea to do a big brake kit? And what kits do you recommend?
Bad Batch almost nobody adds bigger brakes. And to be honest on most if not all late model trucks, they have much better brakes than trucks of the past and don’t really need bigger brakes unless you go insane on a daily driver. Just a good set of pads and rotors are fine when it’s time to replace. I had 37x13.5r22’s on my 2000 2500 Silverado and it still had more than enough stopping power to lock up and kick in the ABS to keep them from skidding on dry pavement. But if going bigger than say 40in tires I would recommend a big brake kit, and anything over a 33x12.5 tire just give yourself a little more braking distance.
I might shop at custom offsets but if you compare them to anybody else you guys are exuberantly high-priced compared to others your knowledge is awesome but man your price just puts us out of the book

I absolutely love my fitment and stance. Bought my first winter package for a build truck before I was going to order the final package post winter. However Yet I’ve wasted 1/2 the price of the tires trying to correct the package I received. 2 tires were out of balance by approx 3.0oz. Looking for some suggestions for new tires here. Just bought a 2016 Chevy Silverado LTZ Z71 this year. Planning on putting a 6" lift on it in the spring. And have already found the rims I want. Im looking for tires however. I used to use BFG A/Ts on my older vehicles. And they worked really well in the snow we get inn Alaska. Wasn't too fond of the KO2's however when I put those on my HUMMER. Can anyone tell me some that they have used that worked well in snow and ice? Thanks for the great videos tho #Customoffsets They have been really helpful when doing most of my research!
Any thoughts on selling a rim/tire package pre ceramic coated for those of us that maybe don’t have the time to take them somewhere and have it done? Maybe hire an in house installer or partner with a manufacturer ? I’m not one but I know trying to find ones that do a good job that will stand by their work is hard and sometimes people don’t live anywhere close to someone that does it. Just a thought.
Check out Anthem Off-Road. I see some websites that show 18inch wheels with 33 or 35 inch tires. I went to Discount tire the other day and they made it sound like the 18inch wheel wont fit. Can someone please show where to go or weather or not this is possible..Im ready to order and make this happen i just need clarity. I also want just a half inch at most of the tire out from the fender. What offset do i need..Please help
First, that comment about "you get what you pay for"....Nexten has been trying to build a reputation so they use a very good rubber compound in their tires. I had two on the back of my pu and driving aprx 14,000 per year they lasted four years. Cost $110 per tire. But they have limited sizes. I do not use mud tires till they are bald in the middle, so mine had a decent amount of tread left when I replaced them. Are you going to mention the FACT that in some states it is against the law for the tires to stick out past the fenders ?
Gecxid Rureel Anybody modifying any vehicle should check their local and state laws . most modifications are illegal just not enforced until you run into that one cop having a really shitty day .
So if I’m gonna add fender flares and don’t want my wheels to stick out a lot which size should I buy? 20x10 or 20x12? I want my tires to be almost flush with the flares. I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 with a 6inch lift. Nice video. Lots of info. Subs..

Hi, I am looking at Ironman 275/65/18 for my 2015 Toyota Tundra 4x4 crewmax. I do tow a camper a couple of times a year. I see they come regular and 10 ply. What are your thoughts on this tire and is it really a good idea on 10 ply ?
Hopefully this video helps with your question!

Just get 17x9s and 37x12.5s
Get the grinder out and send it
That's how I got 315 75r16 on a stock dodge Dakota
How do the tires compare with the width of the wheel. So like having a 9 wide wheels but have a 12.5 wide tire. Can you run into issues with having a bigger difference?
No that would be a perfectly fine setup to run and it would offer a good amount of tire bulge to protect your wheels! You can check out our wheels and tires here!

That power wagon was sweet!
I look for tires first then I'm like oh yeah I need something to hold them on my truck.
I just bought a 2021 GMC AT4 1500. Adding Rough Country 2 in leveling kit. What wheel offset can I get with 35s & no cutting of the truck?
can you guys do a video with the hostile chrome 20x9 0 offset on a 2015 chevy 3500hd stock suspension thanks

Weve heard good reviews of them in the snow!
Hi I want to put in my f150 33x12.5 R20” 3” from and 2.5” in the back do you think is going to work please help me thank you 🙏

Fuller knows what’s up. Awesome video as always. 👍🏻
I just ordered a set of wheels and tires through them for my 2015 Silverado 2500HD and noticed that they now offer ceramic coating for the wheels (for a price) before they mount, balance, and ship for no charge.shop.anthemwheels.com/collections/silverado-2500-1999-2010-8x6-5-packages
Wow ur so cool a new truck every year. How awesome 👏
Genesis Medellin not bragging! New vehicles every year typically put me in crippling debt, but sometimes you gotta ball for the gram. -Fuller
Custom Offsets I mean true but why? Why not put even more money into one wait till a new body line rolls out
@@CustomOffsetsTV I never buy brand new off the lot, as soon as you do it depreciates. NO leasing or financing ever, I buy like 5years years old in cash what I can afford. That way I own it and its no longer on that depreciation curve as hard. And its had all the kinks out of it, if it's doing well after 5 years its proven its dependability.
I like the deep lip look and the look.of the rim and tire at the 13:21 mark. What are those tire/rim's? Thank you in advance!🤠
Plus I'm trying to get this type of look for my chevy Silverado 1500 king cab 2wd. What size AT, or hybrid tire for a 20 " rim without it rubbing? I do plan on turning the t bar to lift up the front a bit.
Hmm, my bad, you have a show an tell website, but if you do reply, that would be awesome, too!
Hi Custom Offset. I have a pickup truck Np300 Navara 2017 4x2 what wheels and tires that you can recommend (hostile, fuel maverick or contra or moto metal)brand. I prefer 18x9 or 20x9 wheels wrapped with 305 60 R20 though. My pickup truck is my daily car sometimes I do offroading with my buddy's 4x4 pickup truck (once every quarter). I really appreciate your recommendation. Tahnk you.
Just to clear it up here in australia we only talk metric or sort of. Lol. so yes 305/50/20 305mm 50% of the width(305mm) for sidewall height and 20 inch diameter wheel
I was getting"tired" just listening to all that information😧...'wow' i never really realized just how important tire size was😯 thanks for your expertise and knowledge😎👍👌✌
So If I wanna keep my stock tires but get new rims I should be aiming for positive Off set right?
Not so much offset just mainly the same diameter/width wheels!
@@CustomOffsetsTV got ya
Hear me out on this I'm doing a build on a 2011 hyundai sonata limited 2.0t and the perfect wheels to go with the wrap would be a xd775 I'm wanting to do a 17x8 with lower profile snow tires for an aggressive look with functionality what are the odds of them fitting
I want to fit an all terrain or hybrid tire on an 18" mustang rim, any suggestions?
YA, BUY A TRUCK

305/50/R20.... the 50 means 50% of 305 (in mm) the size of the sidewall
Hello, if my stock tire size is 275 55 R20, what tire size can I upgrade to for a bit beefier look ? I do not 4x4 it and they must be all season especially for rain

U can go 295 series 50 r22, u hav to do a 2 inch lift, u also hav to do a speedomtr calibration
I recommend bridgestone dueler all season
Stay safe
Have you ever done pro comp tires? There not to bad 35x20x10.50 loud tho!
whats is better on a 2018 F150 with 6"bds lift 35x12.5r22 Vs 325/50r22 this would be on 12 wide wheels - 44 ?

Factory gmc snowflake replicas
I put a 33 x 15 /15:50 on a 15 x 18 with neg 44 before off set was cool 😎
off set has always been cool. Just that all the snowflakes have money to waste on fancy wheels that they never have a true use for.
Always learning from you guys
What would you suggest for a width for 33's on a frontier for florida trails

Hey fuller. I just got Goodyear durra tracks on my 18 Tacoma. When do I rotate them every 3500? Lmk
That’s definitely a good mileage to rotate at!
Thanks bro

Wait wait wait did he just say Wisconsin hell I’m not fooling around with the website imma just drive up there one day....ya know I never expected anything in Wisconsin usually big specialty companies are on the coasts but now I know that y’all are in Appleton.....life saver
Yes sir!!! Appleton over on Endeavor drive just google us! 🤘
So if I understand correctly. If a lift kit says it requires a certain amount of backspacing…for example 5 inches, does that mean you need to have a wheel that has 5 inches or less backspacing?
Correct
its easier and better to stay stock but we love stance haha both my trucks running 22x12 33s on leveled sierra and silverado now thinkin going 24x12 🤔🤑
Completely true. I know I shouldn't lift my truck, but I want to.🤣
22s on 33s🤢
14 wides though
Wisconsin deep steep incline roads and long snow winters
Can't get the gallery to work.... search feature doesn't seem to let me chose "model" even with all other fields selected

2004 Chevy Silverado can it fit 35 tires
with the hybrid tires on the truck in the video, what size tires were those? also was that a leveling kit or lift?
If I'm getting 20x10 wheels, can I put 12 wide tires on them?
If your car/truck is cheap go for cheap tires/wheels. I myself will never buy tires that cost more then what my wheels cost. Because down the road I’ll be buying new tires more then wheels. My first set of wheels is 7 yrs old and I’ve gone through 3 set of tires.

Im really needing help if someone can assist. I have a 2021 Ram 1500 that I put a 2.5 leveling kit on. Im wanting to get the Black Rhino Highlands and want 33 or 34 inch tire. I see some websites that show 18inch wheels with 33 or 35 inch tires. I went to Discount tire the other day and they made it sound like the 18inch wheel wont fit. Can someone please show where to go or weather or not this is possible..Im ready to order and make this happen i just need clarity.
Laws vary between states, in Wisconsin you are allowed up to 2" of stance but most cops wont bother you unless your being unlawful about it.
@@CustomOffsetsTV Just saying that you might mention that they should check their local laws first out of courtesy to your viewers.
Gecxid Rureel Anybody modifying any vehicle should check their local and state laws . most modifications are illegal just not enforced until you run into that one cop having a really shitty day .
I know to each thier own.. but I scratch my head at those who intentionally make their vehcle look like a skateboard.
